This study developed a classification model for monitoring the risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) among females using information about non-invasive risk factors. Structured interview with physicians was done in order to identify the risk factors that are associated with the risk of STDs in Nigeria. The model was simulated using the fuzzy logic toolbox accessible in the MATLAB® R2015a Software. The results showed that nine non-invasive risk factors were associated with the risk of STDs among female patients in Nigeria. Two, three, and four triangular membership functions were appropriate for the formulation of the linguistic variables of the factors while the target risk was formulated using four triangular membership functions for the linguistic variables namely no risk, low risk, moderate risk, and high risk. The study concluded that the fuzzy logic model approach was adequate for predicting the risk of STDs based on the knowledge of the risk factors.

One of the most important problems associated with water is the pollution of surface and underground waters mainly due to human activities that currently threatens many of the world's water resources. The study area of Sabalan dam basin is on Gharasu located at 30 km (air gap) in Northeast of Meshkinshahr (Ardebil province) on the northern slopes of Mount Sabalan. This study was conducted to identify, classify and manage the pollution risk of Sabalan dam. The overall objective of this study was to predict possible events and identify risk factors, potentials and risks in pollution incidents at Sabalan Dam using URSM methods and fuzzy logic in MATLAB, Fuzzycell and Arc Gis software environments. The results of the URSM method showed that the catchment basin has a pollution risk of 0.43-0.66. The results of this method and fuzzification in the MATLAB software revealed that the basin has the risk in the range of 0.16 to 0.76. Therefore, it can be concluded that using the URSM method and its integration with fuzzy logic in risk assessment can reduce the disadvantages of other methods such as ursm (alone).

The paper presents an overview of the literature from recent years devoted to planning the time, costs and risk of a construction investment using fuzzy logic. It also presents three own original models concerning the issue. The first model is used to build a fuzzy construction schedule taking into account fuzzy norms and the number of workers. The costing model uses fuzzy inference from CBR cases. The aim was to increase the accuracy and correctness of the cost calculation performed for the investor in the construction and investment process with a certain degree of vagueness of the available information about materials. In the last of the presented models, fuzzy sets were used to assess the effects of technological and construction (implementation) risk factors. The presented examples prove the usefulness of fuzzy logic in solving problems in construction, where we have incomplete and imprecise information.

Osteoporosis is a disease in which bones become fragile and more likely to break. Osteoporosis can progress painlessly until it causes a bone fracture or a bone break. Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) is more costly and not accessible easily so we are using Fuzzy Inference system to predict osteoporosis. In this fuzzy logic, we collect risk factors and rules for osteoporosis and build a interface which take inputs and predicts if a person has osteoporosis. In the following Literature survey, we will take risk factors, rules, and ways to implement them. Around the world, 33% of women and 20% men over the age of 50 will suffer a fracture caused by Osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a disease in which Bones become shallow and are fractured. If predicted before, quality of life will increase and severe surgery may be avoided.

This paper is the first to assess the integral level of risks in public-private partnership (PPP) projects being implemented in Russia, taking into account the stages of project implementation. The results of empirical assessments have shown that the aggregate risk level is now estimated by experts as high. The key risks are incorrect assessment of project parameters, possible change of tariffs as well as risks related to the construction stage and demand for services. The majority of risk factors in PPP projects are of sectoral, project-level nature and are not related to economic, political or legal conditions. The study has shown differences in the structure of risks that partnership subjects are willing to take and transfer to another party, which has allowed to justify the distribution of risks among participants.

The article is a continuation of the series of works on the method for risk analysis in surveying works in road construction projects. The paper presents the application of fuzzy logic to determine the nature and value of the risk of surveying works based on a database of rules and affiliation functions provided by experts. The fact that the issue of occurrence of risk factors in road construction works is not deterministic justifies the above. In such works, there are many uncertainties in establishing the value of their duration in the long term. The theoretical framework of the method is presented together with an example of its application. Moreover, research results are compared with previous publications using other research tools.
