Over the period of time, responsible and sustainable development have become very important phenomenon and integrating with each form of development. When it comes to tourism and its various forms then it plays a significant role in order to develop, retain and sustain the tourism for the future generation even without compromising the present needs, wants and desires of tourists, local residents and stakeholders. Therefore, the present study has measured the impacts and relationship between sustainable development and recreation (most common form of tourism) and tourism development. This is an empirical research conducted through both quantitative and qualitative approaches and methods. Sample of 100 respondents which includes tourists, local residents, tourism stakeholders, tourism professionals, academician and research scholars has been collected via self-administrated standardized questionnaire or tool name; Sustainable Development Measurement Scale (SDMS) over five point Likert Scale. SDMS have ten distinct and specific items related to sustainable development with reference to recreation and tourism development. Collected data has been analysis with the help of both descriptive and inferential statistics such as correlation coefficient and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Findings of the study suggested that sustainable development has high positive correlation with recreation and tourism development and also significantly impacting both recreation and tourism development at tourism destinations. On the basis of researcher findings appropriate suggestions and recommendations were also made in relation to sustainable recreational tourism development.

The article compares different approaches to an evaluation of tourism development potential. This evaluation is one of the basic research methods used in regional development of tourism. The analyzed approaches were applied in the area of the South Moravian Region and their effectiveness was compared. Based on evaluation results, the main forms and types of tourism with the largest development potential in the South Moravian Region were defined.

Factors of tourism development in Putylskyi district of Chernivtsi region were investigated. Tourism resources, infrastructure, material and technical bases of district for the purposes of tourism development were studied. The impact of natural, geographical, historical, cultural, socio-economic conditions and the factors that potentially and actually influence on the formation of regional tourism product of the study area were defined. Factors that limit the development of tourism in the district, particularly low level of recreation and tourism infrastructure and lack of methodical, organizational and information support of subject of tourist activity were traced. Key words: Putylskyi district, tourism resources, infrastructure, tourism organization.

We discuss the uniqueness of natural and geographical conditions for tourism in the Sheki-Zagatala region of Azerbaijan In this article. The role and place of tourism in the development of the national economy are considered, the tourist potential of the region is characterized, the ways of tourism development are determined. The need to develop a new strategy for the development of urban planning organization and improving the design of recreation and tourism complexes is noted. It is analyzed the opening of a new corridor linking Nakhichevan with the western regions of Azerbaijan and, accordingly, Turkey with Central Asia, which will significantly affect regional development, including opening up wide opportunities for the development of tourism in the region.

The article presents the results of assessing the recreational potential of the territory adjacent to the Talkas lake in the Baymak district. The structure of the recreational potential of the studied area was studied, and the forest stands were evaluated. Positive factors of tourism development in this territory are noted. The assessment of forest stands on the territory adjacent to lake Talkas was calculated using the method of S. L. Rysin. The following criteria were taken into account: attractiveness, comfort for vacationers, and resistance to recreational impact. The recreational potential of the territory adjacent to the Talkas lake in Baymak district is large enough for the development of recreation and tourism. For the development of tourism in this area, there are a number of favorable conditions: climatic, historical, cultural and natural conditions, as well as forest stands that are resistant to recreational impact.
