Abstract The direction of electron beam technologies is promising and is rapidly developing. Quite recently, the electron beam was a tool for welding, and nowadays, electron-beam additive technologies and beam hardening technologies have become widespread. At the moment, there is no electron beam system that unites all these technologies. Expensive equipment has been developed to implement each technology. The article deals with expanding the technological capabilities of the 15E1000 electron-beam welding installation in order to implement new methods and techniques for processing metals with an electron beam.

The incorporation of new technologies in the geometric documentation of cultural heritage must contribute to the application of new methods and techniques for both its investigation and its diffusion. However, the apparent rate of development of the technology, together with the social immediacy, does not allow the establishment of an entire process of technologies and procedures necessary in all types of geometric documentation projects. This report intends to establish a brief reflection of the state of the enquiry, underlining that one of the present difficulties is the representation of cultural heritage and providing for each one of them a beginning point that will contribute to the establishment of a correct development in the process of creativity, innovation, culture and education.

The paper is aimed at studying the influence of balanced housing sector development on the cohesion level of the socio-economic space (SES) in agglomerations. Statistical and comparative analytical techniques are used as the basic methods in this research. The paper presents indicators that measure the level of integration and balance in the housing sector. It proposes a set of mechanisms aimed at promoting a more balanced development of the housing sector in order to achieve SES cohesion in the Tomsk agglomeration. The relevance of the study is associated with intensification of agglomeration processes and the need for new methods and techniques to assess the balanced state of housing sector development in agglomeration SES.

Abstract Teaching English is a challenging profession not only because English is not our mother tongue but mainly because the students we teach are more advanced and skilled than some decades ago and the new methods and techniques we use at class have to be more integrative and interactive to arouse and maintain their interest. Teaching English in vocational universities also asks for specialized knowledge obtained through both academic study and practical experience, where our students passed certain requirements and met certain standards. Their level of proficiency in English is also assessed by a further linguistic certification as our students will be professionals with shared goals, values and practices. In order to get a professional development of English language we need to have a comprehensive understanding of what competences and expertise in language our students need. What essential skills, knowledge, values, attitudes and goals do they need in order to become skilled professionals and how can these be acquired? This paper tries to explore cooperative learning as a means of maximizing students’ learning.
