Ryazan region annually receives stable yields of sugar beet roots 40 t/ha. Further growth of yields depends on balanced nutrition of plants cultivated hybrids, from the quality of the soil and of the phytosanitary State of sowing culture. Weed vegetation in wider spaced row crops of sugar beet in the initial periods of vegetation is high competition culture. The article presents the results of three studies on the effectiveness of the herbicide betanalnoj group, used to reduce contamination of sowing culture annual dicotyledonous weeds and increase the harvest of sugar beet roots. Studies conducted on experimental fields ISSA-branch FGBNU FNAC WIM (former AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE in Ryazan). Soil: dark grey forest tjazhelosuglinistaja, humus content 4.0%, potassium and phosphorus-high pH is 5.8. Area of cultivated plots 50 m2, repetition, four sugar beet variety-Ocean. The predecessor-winter wheat. Under the autumn ploughing had made NPK120 under presowing cultivation-N60, SEV conducted seeder sowing machine. For crop protection herbicides were tested annually of sugar beet Betanal progress, UF-1.0 l/HA, Forte di Belvedere-1.0 l/HA, Betanal Max Pro-1.5 l/HA, Bajrang engineering works Super-1.5 l/HA, once applied to weeds. The harvest of sugar beet roots, take into account the square 10 m2 in 4-times repeated with each experimental plot by weighing machinery, processed data by ANOVA. The research found that studied herbicides efficiently at 87-92%, reduced infestation annual dicotyledonous weeds and increase the harvest of sugar beet roots to 29.9-44.1%

The average annual reduction in the sowing machine park in 2015-2018 amounted to 5.4 thousand units, so there is a problem of replenishing the missing equipment. At the same time, the main urgent issues requiring solution are the improvement of sowing machines. The materials on the provision of farms with sowing equipment in 1990-2018 and its production in 2010-2018 are considered, the designs for improving sowing machines are proposed. A decrease in the sown area for grain and leguminous crops in 1992-2018 was revealed by 1.3 times – from 61.9 to 46.3 million hectares and an increase by 5.5 times in the annual load on a grain seeder from 133 to 733 hectares per machine. Availability of grain seeders have been estimated for 2018 is about 63 thousand units, the total demand is calculated – about 196 thousand of reference units. A grain-fertilizer seeder with disc coulters of the SZ-3.6 type was taken as the reference unit of the sowing machine. The range of sowing equipment has been analyzed. The diagram of a single-disc-anchor coulter of strip sowing for sowing complexes is presented. Examples of effective use of single-disc anchor coulter instead of paw coulters openers are given. Described is a competitive single-disc coulter working body of strip sowing for use on sowing complexes.

The cultivation of seedlings in forest tree nurseries for reforestation and afforestation is an important task of forestry. For sowing seeds of coniferous species in forest nurseries seeder with coil sowing machines are used, which do not provide the desired uniformity of seeding and damage seeds when sowing. Pin sowing machines allow you to eliminate these drawbacks, so research process is interested for forestry. As a result of the research of the process of sowing seeds of conifers by sowing machines with pin metering apparatus, formulas for determination of its angular velocity and rotational speed of the drive of furrow making roller. Formulas to determine seeding rate are proposed, taking into account constructive parameters of seeding machine and size of pins. It is noted that the increase in height and width of pins and also fill factor and number of rows of pins leads to the increase in standards; and increase in gear ratio of the actuator causes its decrease. Uneven supply of seed increases with increased size of pins, so thickness of pins is recommended to be minimum one, taking into account its sufficient strength. Conducted analytical research of the process of work of pin sowing unit enabled to obtain the necessary expressions for calculating structural and technological parameters of the forest sowing machine for sowing seeds of coniferous species in forest nurseries.

In order to produce agricultural technologic equipment with a high number of extremely dinamically and statically stressed parts it is important to take into account the possibilities offered by the new fabrication technologies of such parts. Such a possibility is offered by the powder metallurgy. The present paper presents the results obtained at the trials made by INMA Bucuresti, Cluj-Napoca branch, to establish the influence of the lubrication on the durability of the sintered bushings of the B1 cardan transmission joints, made by BINACCHI and used in the SPC6-M sowing machine and other agricultural equipments like the ones for fitosanitary treatments and fertilizers administration.

Abstract. A study on some operational characteristics of a direct sowing machine-tractor unit has been carried out in wheat sowing. It is performed by Horsch Avatar 6.16 SD direct seeder aggregated to John Deere 7250 R tractor. It was found that 91% of the area is sown at sowing rate of 195 kg seed/ha. The remaining 9% are sown either at lower or higher rate. Engine rotations of the seed unit have been established at work mode, i.e. when the seeder is sowing, these are 1594.81 min-1, in idle state the rotations are 912.08 min-1, and in transportation mode are 1860.36 min-1. The relative share of engine use has also been determined: when the seeder is sowing, it is 56.68%, when the seeder unit is in idle mode, it is 14.54% and when the unit is in transportation mode – 28.78%, respectively. The actual operation speed of the seeder unit when sowing wheat was 10.40 km/h and the real hourly productivity – 3.7 ha/h.
