The B = 2 bound/resonance state (dibaryon) is an interesting object, which can be a molecule consisting of two baryons or a spatially compact hexaquark hadron object. The yd ^ n°n°d reaction has been experimentally investigated at incident energies ranging from 0.58 to 1.15 GeV to study non-strange dibaryons. The angular distributions of deuteron emission in the yd center-of-mass energy cannot be reproduced by quasi-free production of two neutral pions followed by deuteron coalescence. Additionally a 2.14-GeV peak is observed in the n°d invariant mass distribution. These suggest a sequential process such as yd ^ RIS ^ n°RIV ^ n°n°d with an isoscalar dibaryon RIS and an isovector dibaryon RIV. Since the mass of the observed isoscalar dibaryons are close to the sum of the nucleon (N) and nucleon resonance (N*) masses, an S-wave NN* molecule may play a role as a doorway to a dibaryon.

In the drilling process, axial vibration, transverse vibration and torsional vibration happen to drilling string. And the coupled vibration is more complex. In the resonance state, drilling string collides with the wall, which causes serious damage on drilling string in a short time and results in economic loss to the drilling operation. In this paper, the regularity of coupled vibration is analyzed by using finite element method. The model of full-hole drilling strings is established. The distribution regularities of coupled resonant frequency are obtained through computer analysis. The coupled model is more accurate than single vibration model. And the gaps of high rotary speed resonance regions are larger. Resonance state can be avoided by changing rotary speed, and drilling accidents can be reduced.

In this article, we construct the color singlet-singlet-singlet interpolating current with IJP=3/21- to study the DD¯⁎K system through QCD sum rules approach. In calculations, we consider the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-16 and employ the formula μ=MX/Y/Z2-2Mc2 to choose the optimal energy scale of the QCD spectral density. The numerical result MZ=4.71-0.11+0.19 GeV indicates that there exists a resonance state Z lying above the DD¯⁎K threshold to saturate the QCD sum rules. This resonance state Z may be found by focusing on the channel J/ψπK of the decay B→J/ψππK in the future.

It is demonstrated both numerically and mathematically that the dynamical behavior of an isolated resonance state (the decay lifetime and the asymptotic fragment state distribution), can be extensively controlled by means of quantum interference induced by a laser field in the weak-field regime.

AbstractAb initioelectronics structure calculations have been carried out in a series of RPb2n-1Te2n, n=16, compounds to understand the nature of “defect” states introduced by R where R = vacancy, monovalent Na, K, Rb, Cs, Ag atoms and divalent Cd atoms. We find that the density of states (DOS) near the top of the valence band and the bottom of the conduction band get significantly modified. The Na atom seems to perturb this region least (ideal acceptor in PbTe) and the other monovalent atoms enhance the DOS near the top of the valence band. Cd is an interesting case, since it introduces a strong resonance state near the bottom of the conduction band.
