The rheological property is the best method which can directly reflect the dispersion property of polymer surfactants. In this paper, the rheological properties in the systems of pure cement, cement/fly ash and cement/silica fume with polycarboxylate superplasticizers of different molecular structures were studied. The effect of molecular structure on shear sress, apparent viscosity and thixotropy in compound cementitious systems was expatiated. At last, the rules of mineral admixture to the system’ rheological property and the relations between adsorption amount and rheological properties were put forward.

It can increase the cement fineness, improve cement production and improve comprehensive performance of cement significantly by adding grinding aids, and promote the use of grinding aids in reducing the energy consumption of cement production, with the adjustment of national economic growth and the elimination of backward production capacity. But the effect mechanism of the grinding aids is divided, and the grinding effect of the system is still need to be improved. In this paper, the development history of cement grinding aids is introduced, and the grinding aids are summarized systematically from the aspects of the grinding mechanism and present research situation at home and abroad. Study shows that current research only stay on the level of practice, not related to the in-depth research on the theory system and theoretical model, a set of grinding efficiency of composite grinding system and the corresponding scientific theory are need to establish.

The effect of cement fineness on the fresh state and rheological properties as well as compressive strength of cementitious systems was investigated. A CEM I 42.5R portland cement containing 7.92% C3A and sulfate resisting cement containing 3.58% C3A were used. The cements were ground to 4 different Blaine finenesses, ranging from 2800 to 4500 cm2/g. In the absence of water-reducing admixture, the water requirement of mixtures increased with an increase in the cement fineness. Thus, the fresh state properties of the mixtures were affected negatively. However, surprisingly, a reverse behavior was observed in the mixtures containing water-reducing admixtures, that is, an increase of the cement fineness increased the effectiveness of the admixture; consequently, the fresh state properties of the mixtures were improved. This seems to have been caused from the higher adsorption of the admixture on finer cement grains than on the coarser particles. Moreover, as expected, the strength of the mortar and concrete mixtures increased along with the increase in cement fineness and its C3A content.

Grinding aids to increase grinding efficiency in cement production are materials that can produce large amounts of high-quality cement in a short time by reducing surface energy by preventing particle agglomeration and improving fluidity. In the paper, a grinding aid using glycerol-waste antifreeze(GAP) is prepared and its effect on the grinding properties of clinker is investigated in contrast to that without the grinding aid. The results are as follows: The angle of repose of the cement powder added with GAP decreases as the grinding time increases (decreases by 3.8° when the grinding time is 60 minutes), indicating that it increases the flowability of the powder. On the contrary, the residual amount of 45µm sieve is also significantly reduced (4.6% decrease) and the specific surface area increases (30.5m2/kg), which results in an increase in the grinding efficiency. In the size range of 3 to 32µm, it increases the particle content, makes the particle size distribution uniform, the 7d and 28d activity index of the powder is improved by 5% and 6%, respectively, and increases the compressive strength of the cement. In addition, it is confirmed that the performance of the TEA grinding aid and the grinding aid are similar, and are very effective in terms of economy.

Objectively and reliably determined indicators of rheological properties of the dough were identified using the alveograph device to create a system of classifications of wheat and flour from it for the intended purpose in the future. The analysis of the relationship of standardized quality indicators, as well as newly developed indicators for identifying them, differentiating the quality of wheat flour for the intended purpose, i.e. for finished products. To do this, we use mathematical statistics methods.

This study was performed to evaluate the efficiency of tapioca processing wastewater treatment using aerobic biofilter with variety of biofilter media: coir, coal, PVC plastic and Bio - Ball BB15 plastic. Research results in the lab demonstrated all four aerobic biofilter models processed can treated completely N and COD which COD reached 90-98% and N reached 61-92%, respectively, at the organic loading rates in range of 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 kgCOD/m3.day. The results identified coir filter was the best in four researched materials with removal COD and specific substract utilization rate can reach 98%, and 0.6 kg COD/kgVSS.day. Research results open the new prospects for the application of the cheap materials, available for wastewater treatment.
