This study examined the impact of including a formal requirement of achieving predetermined energy expenditures as part of students’ participation grades during a Sport Education–based college physical education class. Calorie consumption was measured using the Heart Zones Blink 3.0 sensor, and the percentage of students who reached the lesson target was calculated across a 15-week semester. The instructor kept a weekly journal and students participated in interviews at mid and end of term. Results showed that the average calorie consumption across the semester well exceeded the daily targets, while the percentage of students who reached the daily challenge cutoff ranged from 77% to 100% (average = 87%). Analysis of the journal entries and interviews resulted in the generation of four themes: students’ commitment to reaching the activity targets, group-based strategies for achieving physical activity targets, activity consequences of officiating roles, and activity challenges problematized skill development for some. The article reveals the features of power loads and their impact on the body of student youth. It was found that athletics is the most popular sport among student youth. The article reveals the influence of athletics on the body of students of higher education institutions in the process of physical education. The analysis of literature sources showed a tendency to the constant deterioration of the health of young people, reducing the motivation to engage in physical education. One of the ways to solve the problem of involvement in physical education is the free choice of forms of employment. That is, there is a need to introduce a system of attendance at a convenient time for students in the chosen specialization. The main popularity for girls is aerobics and fitness, and for boys athletic gymnastics. However, the introduction of this system leads to negative aspects of physical education classes for students in the curriculum, which affects the study of other disciplines. For example, after a physical education class, a student cannot quickly rebuild, get out of the excited state caused by emotions and physical stress of the class. Therefore, the task of physical training must be solved in the mandatory physical education classes held outside the university schedule in the afternoon. This is a direction of bodybuilding, based on the use of strength training complexes with different weights: barbells, dumbbells, dumbbells, exercise machines. It is a system of exercises that develops strength along with endurance, agility and some other physical qualities that promote good health. Over the last decade, studies have been conducted on the impact of recreational strength training.

Abstract. Learning environments allow a teaching based on a less structured relationship with materials, spaces, peers, and teachers. This qualitative research makes use of learning environments; in particular of learning environments and learning corners to study two objectives: (a) analyze the teacher's thoughts about the implementation of learning environments and its impact on the learning process in a Early Childhood Physical Education class, and (b) examine the impact of learning environments on teaching practice: ideas from teachers, feelings generated, efforts made, and proposals for change or improvement, among others. Participants in this study were three Early Childhood Education teachers. Techniques and instruments used in the data collection were participant observation, a field diary, individual interviews and a group discussion. After analyzing the data with Atlas.Ti v7, the results point to favorable data on the use of learning spaces, with changes in teacher's thoughts and even in their teaching practice. As a conclusion it is indicated that learning environments generate changes in the teacher's thoughts about this methodology and about their own teaching practice.

An analysis of the impact of technology-enhanced video feedback and peer evaluation on gymnastic performance in a MYP IB Physical Education class. A 5-step inquiry action research framework was employed; following the triangulation approach, both qualitative and quantitative data was collected to substantiate the findings. This study evidenced that peer feedback enhanced gymnastics performance, and that peer feedback when coupled with video analysis, further saw bolstered improvements. Suggesting both methods have a place in physical education, if conducted in the right manner. Adept use of appropriate technological tools would foster heightened intrinsic motivation and differentiated learning engagement.

Abstract In physical education class, the movement of the human body requires multiple joints to cooperate, and a multi-link system coupling is presented. In the teaching of physical education curriculum, the impact of the force received by students jumping up and down shows the characteristics of the non-linear system of physics and mathematics. Aiming at the movement process of jumping up and down, we established a joint mathematical equation model of the motion state of the human lower limb joints. We use a non-linear system to solve the mathematical model of the joint force coupling problem of the human body jumping up and down.
