Analysis of Ukrainian athletes’ results at the XXXII Olympiad Games allows pointing out the factors of the weak performance of Ukrainian athletes in women's individual saber and epee competitions, as well as men's team epee competitions, despite the possibility of winning medals in these sports events according to many analysts including those of Infostrada Sports and other sports statistics experts. These, in our opinion, include an unsatisfactory level of efficiency of the process of reaching the peak of readiness for the Olympic Games; lack of psychological stability of athletes at the competitions; weak tactical preparation of some athletes. Based on the performances of athletes of the Ukrainian fencing team in Tokyo, a conclusion was made about the unsatisfactory level of athletes’ preparation for the XXXII Olympic Games. Only 20% of the national team members were able to realize their potential at the XXXII Olympic Games. The dynamics of the athletes’ results at the World Championships 2017 – 2019 indicates the need to use in the new Olympic cycle the planning, which is focused on our athletes reaching the peak of readiness for the Olympics: at first, the training should be aimed at the maximum stimulation of the growth of sportsmanship, whereas at the final stage it should be focused on its realization in the major competitions. It is shown that despite the unsuccessful performance of the Ukrainian fencing team in the Olympic Tokyo, this type of martial arts has significant potential for improving sports achievements at the XXXIII Olympic Games 2024 in Paris. It is noted that in the new Olympic cycle it is of crucial importance to identify candidates for the XXXIII Olympic Games as soon as possible and to create all the conditions for their full-fledged preparation. Thus, to ensure further winning medal places at the Olympic Games, it is necessary to improve the system of sports training in the Olympic cycle, which envisages participation in numerous competitions during the year to achieve a high level of readiness in the major competitions of triennial – the Olympic Games.

In connection with the increasing the number of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) who enrolls in educational institutions of Ukraine, the issue of individualization of physical education (PE) of children with ASD in the school process becomes important. There is little data on the quality of life of schoolchildren with autism spectrum disorders. It does not allow to draw individual trajectories of physical education of such children, to help them to improve their adaptability. Most of studies have been performed on males. Objective: to analyze the level of cognitive, physical, emotional, social functioning and functioning in school of girls of primary school age with autism spectrum disorders and compare them with typically developed peers. It was found that there were no differences between the rates of girls with ASD and girls with typical development in walking and running, feeling of pain and low energy levels, the frequency of school absences due to doctor visits and the frequency of forgetting things. However, the level of development of cognitive, social and emotional functioning of girls with ASD is significantly lower than the indicators with typical development by all criteria. To overcome the problems with cognitive, social and emotional functioning of girls with ASD, it is recommended to select appropriate means of PE. In oder to improve the cognitive processes (attention, memory) of girls with ASD, we recommend to increase the amount of means that promote the development of coordination in PE classes; to improve physical functioning - exercises for developing muscle strength and endurance. The game activity with normal girls will help to improve the social well-being of girls with ASD. We should use oriental martial arts and oriental gymnastics to improve the psycho-emotional state of girls with ASD.

According to the results of the analysis of scientific-methodical, special and reference literature (monitoring of Internet sources) it is established, that the issue of analytical and statistical review (comparative analysis) of technical and tactical training of judokas and highly qualified judokas is devoted to the insufficient number of scientific and methodological works, which requires further research and emphasizes the relevance and practical component of the chosen area of scientific research. The main purpose of the study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the technical and tactical arsenal of highly qualified male and female judokas (champions and winners of the XXXII Summer Olympic Games 2020, Tokyo, Japan). In the process of research and analytical work, the following methods of theoretical research were used: axiomatic, idealization, historical and logical, convergence from the specific, formalization (mathematical and statistical), and so on. As a result of the study, members of the research group conducted a comparative analysis of the technical and tactical arsenal of highly qualified male and female judokas (champions and winners of the XXXII Summer Olympic Games 2020, Tokyo, Japan). In order to increase the effectiveness of competitive activities of Ukrainian athletes (men and women) who specialize in judo at different stages of their long-term training, it is advisable to focus the attention of leading coaches on the development of appropriate training programs (pedagogical models) that provide: perfect mastering by Judoists of theoretical aspects of current rules of judo; increasing the number and variety of attacking and defensive techniques; increasing the coefficient of reliability of technical and tactical actions (combinations); development of tactile sensitivity and coordination; formation of high psychophysical readiness for long-term competitive activity (high training loads), etc.

The article provides the results of determining the level of physical development of the 1th-2nd course students of design specialties of the College of Construction, Architecture and Design. The physical development of students was determined by indicators of harmony of the bodybuilding (Kettle index 2), functional state of the cardiovascular system (Ruffier index), and respiratory system (Stange test). Length and weight of the body, heart rate, breathing delay time were measured. As a result of the researches, the “average” level of the physical development is determined in the 1th-2nd course girls and “sufficient” - in boys. Thus, mass-growth indicators of students according to the calculation of Kettle 2 index, both boys and girls correspond to the assessment of 5 points, which indicates a harmonious physique of students; indicators of the functioning of the cardiovascular system (Ruffier Index) of 1st year boys and the 2nd year students make 2 points, which corresponds to the ”below average” level, and the results of the 1st year girls equal to the assessment of 3 points, “average” level; indicators of the functional state of the respiratory system (Stange test) of boys of the 1th-2nd  course correspond to the assessment of 4 points (“above the average” level), and girls of both courses - 3 points (“average” level). In the age and gender aspects, physical development indicators, in general, don’t significantly differ with the general tendency to increase results with age and the dominance of boys over such in girls. The exception is the Ruffier index, where there is an opposite trend - the results decrease with age in girls and they are higher than in boys. Thus, the results of the research indicate the feasibility of introducing the 1th-2nd course students of professional pre-high education of special physical exercises into the process of physical education to improve the functional state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

For modern physical education of students is characterized by significant psychological stress. Teachers and psychologists need to prepare students not only in psychological and physical condition, but also to help confront many factors that arise during the learning process in various situations that cause inconsistencies in the functions of the body and its nervous system. The accumulated evidence testifies to the close relationship between the spiritual and physical state of man, as well as the ability to use special physical techniques and self-suggestion to influence the mental and physiological functions of the body. Many authors in various fields have studied the methods of using physical education to improve the psychological and pedagogical foundations of physical education of students and their professional training as a specialist [1.3] Effective means of improving the psychological and pedagogical foundations of physical education and the formation of students' individual physical culture are appropriate norms, which are based on modern principles of physical education [4]. The activities of law enforcement officers are characterized by significant psycho-emotional and physical stress. Therefore, a high level of physical preparedness and psychophysiological characteristics are an important component in the structure of preparedness of cadets in higher education institutions with specific training conditions that train police officers. Research aimed at finding of effective ways of their improvement is relevant. Experts note the importance of studying the impact of different sports on the preparedness of cadets. We conducted a study of the indicators of the preparedness of the cadets who during the year of study were engaged in the program "Special Physical Training" without attending sectional classes. We compared their results with the results of the cadets who trained in the kickboxing section. The results show that the traditional curriculum of the discipline "Special Physical Training" effectively contributes to the improvement of the physical preparedness (endurance, muscle strength). The process of the improving of the psychophysiological characteristics (simple reaction to sound and visual stimuli, choice reaction, reaction to a moving object) in the educational process of "Special Physical Training" needs to be optimized. Sectional martial arts (kickboxing) classes are an effective means of extracurricular activities of the cadets. They help to increase their physical fitness and psychophysiological characteristics.
