In this article, we argue that certain behaviour connected to the attempt to attain contemporary female body ideals in Denmark can be understood as an act of achievement and, thus, as an embodiment of the culture of achievement, as it is characterised in Præstationssamfundet, written by the Danish sociologist Anders Petersen (2016) Hans Reitzels Forlag . Arguing from cultural psychological and sociological standpoints, this article examines how the human body functions as a mediational tool in different ways from which the individual communicates both moral and aesthetic sociocultural ideals and values. Complex processes of embodiment, we argue, can be described with different levels of internalisation, externalisation and materialisation, where the body functions as a central mediator. Analysing the findings from a qualitative experimental study on contemporary body ideals carried out by the Danish psychologists Josefine Dilling and Maja Trillingsgaard, this article seeks to anchor such theoretical claims in central empirical findings. The main conclusions from the study are used to structure the article and build arguments on how expectations and ideals expressed in an achievement society become embodied.

The ideal effects of mixing the short fiber-rubber composite can not be reached under current conditions. This paper built the physical model for the short fiber mixes and disperses in rubber through studying the mixing mechanism of the short fiber-rubber composite. The new 6-wing synchronous rotor was designed according to the requirement of material mixing mechanism. The mixing requirement of the ordinary material and the reasonable length-diameter ratio of the short fiber could be met through changing the clearance gap between the rotor edge peak and mixer room. Finally, verify the theory through experimental study.

Wet centrifugal separation process is used to purify diatomite by analyzing the properties of diatomite raw ore in Linjiang city, Jilin province. Experimental results determine the affecting sorting important indicators, including scrubbing agent and dosage, sieving mesh, centrifugal separation. The concentration of SiO2in the final diatomite is 86.76%, reaching primary soil standard. Compared with gravity sedimentation purification process, new technology method saves much time and achieves the ideal separation effect.

The purpose of this article is the characterization of permeability and the ideal selectivity of new metallic brass membranes with a “sandwich” structure. Characterization is an important factor related to the morphology, structure, and properties of the membrane. The membranes were examined for simple gas phases, including various exogenous factors on their performance (temperature, pressure, durability). To evaluate their performance, permeate measurements were made at temperatures from -18 to 300°C and at various pressures from 1 to 10 bar. Results have shown that permeability is influenced by the molecular weight and exhibits ideal selectivity greater or equal by Knudsen’s ideal separation factor in a sequence of Η2>He>CH4>N2>O2>Ar≥CO2. The permeability is also a function of the thickness of the membrane, as it shows there’s a decrease in permeability and an increase in selectivity when the thickness is increased. The effect of temperature on these metal membranes is considered an important factor in the operation of membranes and membrane systems. The main feature is the reduction of permeability with the increase of temperature.

An experimental study is conducted to explore a new method to calculate the strain in axisymmetric workpiece forming. When designing deep drawing die for an axisymmetric workpiece, the principal strain during the forming is needed to estimate formability and to decide whether the forming is finished in one pass. Strain calculation is a difficult task, so an ideal same area method used to calculate the strain for an axisymmetric workpiece along with a correction same area method considered thickness reduction rate is proposed here. The deep drawing test for an axisymmetric workpiece is used to obtain the strain along circumference and generatrix direction. The strain along the two directions calculated by the ideal same area method and correction same area method is compared with experimental results. The results show that ideal same area method can be used to calculate the strain during the forming process for an axisymmetric workpiece and the result from correction same area method is close to the experiment.

Radiation effects on polyimide (PI) membranes were studied with different irradiation doses by60Co. The PI membrane were synthesized from 2,2-bis (3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl) hexafluoropropane (Bis-AP-AF) with 3,3',4,4'-Benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA). The single gas permeability of He, H2, CO2, O2, N2and CH4were measured and compared in order to determine the effect of the the irradiation doses on the gas separation properties. The results showed that the ideal selectivity of He/CH4, H2/CH4, CO2/CH4and H2/N2of the irradiation PI membrane can be significantly improved by irradiation of60Co source. The optimum irradiation doses were 50 kGy. The highest ideal selectivity of He/CH4, H2/CH4, CO2/CH4and H2/N2is 3635.86, 2287.57, 282.00 and 205.29, respectively. In other word, the ideal selectivity of He/CH4, H2/CH4, CO2/CH4and H2/N2of the irradiation PI membrane with 50 kGy irradiation doses is 2.27, 2.11, 1.89 and 1.08 times higher than that of the PI membranes without irradiation.
