Many previous studies have tried to find therapies in dealing with poor sleep quality in women. Where many researchers find that women are more likely to have poor sleep quality than men. Therefore, this study is to prove the effectiveness of wudu as a psychotherapy for sleep quality. This research is a quantitative pre-experimental research with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Research respondents were determined by the purposive sampling technique (N = 17) all of them were young women. To measure sleep quality using the Sleep Quality Scale developed by Yi, Shin, and Shin (2006). Data analysis techniques using the Paired Samples T-Test technique using the help of JASP (Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program) version: 0.8.5.1. This study found that wudu therapy is effective in improving sleep quality in young women by focusing on increasing satisfaction with sleep which consists of three indicators namely: 1) Satisfaction Level with overall sleep; 2) Sleep tight; 3) Enough sleep.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore business travelers’ sleep experience in hotels by measuring sleep quality and determining the extent to which hotel attributes, demographic characteristics, and hotel quality level influence their sleep quality while staying in hotels. Design/methodology/approach This study utilized a self-reported survey to obtain data from business travelers who have stayed in a hotel at least two nights for a business trip in the past 30 days. A total of 304 business travelers were surveyed in this study. Findings The results indicated that there was a difference in the factors that influenced business travelers’ overall satisfaction with sleep in mid-scale (2.5-3.5 stars) vs upscale hotels (4+stars). The findings showed that business travelers generally had lower sleep quality at hotels and they were more likely affected by noise both outside and inside the guestroom, as well as material elements inside the room. Originality/value This study represents a pioneering attempt at exploring business travelers’ sleep quality and satisfaction with sleep in hotels. Furthermore, this study contributes to the limited research addressing sleep quality as a fundamental function of hotel services. Also, this is the first study to measure business travelers’ sleep quality in hotels by using the sleep quality scale.

Purpose Poor sleep quality is closed related with driving accidents. However, due to the lack of a valid instrument for assessing drivers’ sleep quality, few studies have examined drivers’ sleep quality and its associations with driving behaviours and traffic accidents in China. The aim of this paper is to revise the Sleep Quality Scale (SQS) and assess its reliability and validity in Chinese drivers. Methods 522 Chinese drivers aged from 18 to 56 years old agreed to complete the SQS, Daytime Sleepiness Perception Scale version 4 (DSPS-4), Self-report of Risky Driving Behavior (RD-SR) and Self-assessment of the Likelihood of Being Involved in a Risky Driving Situation (RD-SA). Results The final Chinese version of the SQS contained 23 items across four factors: difficulty in getting up, difficulty in falling asleep, sleep recovery and daytime dysfunction. Second, man scored lower on the difficulty in falling asleep factor but higher on the sleep recovery factor than women. Third, low to moderate correlations were found between the SQS factors and the DSPS-4, RD-SA and RD-SR, indicating that the validity of the revised scale was satisfactory. More importantly, daytime dysfunction factor is an effective predictor of violation involvement and accident involvement. Conclusion The revised SQS has acceptable reliability and validity and can be used as a tool to measure the sleep quality of Chinese drivers.

Many cancer patients experience sleep disturbances or have poor sleep quality. The measurement of sleep quality in cancer patients has not been carried out in hospitals in Indonesia. The tools for measuring sleep are costly. Sleep quality measurement with sleep quality instruments has not been applied as a standard for patient assessment. To test the validity and reliability of the Indonesian version of the Sleep Quality Scale instrument to measure the quality of one's sleep and to test the internal consistency and retest reliability of the Indonesian version of the Sleep Quality Scale instrument to measure the quality of one's sleep. The instrument used was SQS with six components and 28 items.  This research is a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. This research is a study of the validity and reliability of the instrument. The content validity test was measured using Aiken's V formula. The construct validity was measured using the product-moment, and using factor analysis, the reliability of SQS was measured using the Cronbach Alphand the reliability of the retest was using the ICC test. The Sleep Quality Scale shows good validity, namely the content validity value of Aiken's value V0.976, the validity of the extract of all SQS items, is valid. Internal consistency reliability shows good results. Cronbach Alpha 0.849, the ICC value on the test-retest test is 0.903. The goodness of fit test shows unsatisfactory results with a p-value of chi-square 0.00, RSMEA = 0.067, GFI = 0.750 and CFI = 0.869. Clinicians can use the Indonesian version of the Sleep Quality Scale instrument as an instrument to measure sleep quality in cancer patients.
