In this paper, a method is proposed to prepare rock-like materials with different thicknesses of hidden joints. Then, permeability and porosity of the self-prepared jointed specimens under different pore pressures during confining pressure loading and unloading are measured. The experimental results indicate that the gas permeability of the jointed specimens gradually decreases with the rise of pore pressure due to the existence of Klinkenberg effect, and Klinkenberg effect gradually decreases with the rise of hidden joint thickness. As the main seepage channels, hidden joints govern the seepage characteristics, and due to the existence of hidden joints, the intrinsic permeability is improved significantly. Besides, due to the existence of hidden joints, the intrinsic permeability and porosity are more sensitive to confining pressure loading than that of the intact specimen, and the sensitivity increases with the rise of hidden joint thickness. During confining pressure loading, there is a permanent deformation of the hidden joints and pores in the specimens, which results in both the intrinsic permeability and porosity being always lower than those in the loading process. Meanwhile, the permanent deformation rises with the increases of hidden joint thickness, which leads to the increases of gap of intrinsic permeability and porosity under loading and unloading processes. Additionally, after comparison of the fitting results, the sub-cubic law can reflect the relationship between flow rate and the thickness of non-persistent joints better than the cubic law.

The relative partition coefficients of krypton and xenon, and the regional blood flow in 27 superficial malignant tumour nodules in 22 patients with diagnosed tumours were measured using the 85mKr- and 133Xe-clearance method. In order to minimize the effect of biological variables on the measurements the radionuclides were injected simultaneously into the tumour. The distribution of the radiotracers was assumed to be in equilibrium at the beginning of the experiment. The blood perfusion was calculated by fitting a two-exponential function to the measuring points. The mean value of the perfusion rate calculated from the xenon results was 13 ± 10 ml/(100 g-min) [range 3 to 38 ml/(100 g-min)] and from the krypton results 19 ± 11 ml/(100 g-min) [range 5 to 45 ml/(100 g-min)]. These values were obtained, if the partition coefficients are equal to one. The equations obtained by using compartmental analysis were used for the calculation of the relative partition coefficient of krypton and xenon. The partition coefficient of krypton was found to be slightly smaller than that of xenon, which may be due to its smaller molecular weight.

The Influence of Location and Facilities Against Satisfaction of Container Unloading Service User at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Merauke Branch. This study aims to determine how much influence the location and facilities to the satisfaction of service users. Locations have indicators: access, visibility, traffic and facilities have indicators: organizational characteristics and objectives, land availability and space and space requirements, flexibility, aesthetic factors, communities and the environment, construction and operation costs while service user satisfaction has indicators: customer satisfaction , dimensions of customer satisfaction, confirmation of expectations, repurchase interest, willingness to recommend, customer dissatisfaction. The method used in this research is quantitative method by using the technique of processing descriptive data, data collecting technique with interviews, questionnaires and literature study. Sampling technique used incidental sampling. The measurement using likert scale and processed using SPSS version 23 program to calculate the validity and reliability test, calculate hypothesis test that is t test, f test and coefficient of determination. The result of research shows that location and facility variables together have a positive influence on service user satisfaction at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Merauke Branch. This can be proven from the result of F count 39.984> 3.11 with significance level 0.000 ≤ 0.05, then Ho is rejected Ha accepted. Itcan be concluded there is a positive and significant relationship between location and facility to the satisfaction of service users of loading and unloading of containers at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Merauke Branch. The result of research shows that location and facility variables together have a positive influence on service user satisfaction at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Merauke Branch. Abstract Every port in Indonesia must have a Port Master Plan that contains an integrated port development plan. This study discusses one important aspect in the preparation of the Port Master Plan, namely the projected movement of goods and passengers, which can be used as a reference in determining the need for facilities at each stage of port development. The case study was conducted at a port located in a district in Maluku Province and aims to evaluate the analysis of projected demand for goods and passengers occurring at the port. The projection method used is time series and econometric projection. The projection results are then compared with the existing data in 2018. The results of this study show that the econometric projection gives adequate results in predicting loading and unloading activities as well as the number of passenger arrival and departure in 2018. This is indicated by the difference in the percentage of projection results towards the existing data, which is smaller than 10%. Whereas for loading and unloading activities, time series projections with logarithmic trends give better results than econometric projections. Keywords: port, port master plan, port development, unloading activities  Abstrak Setiap pelabuhan di Indonesia harus memiliki sebuah Rencana Induk Pelabuhan yang memuat rencana pengem-bangan pelabuhan secara terpadu. Kata-kata kunci: pelabuhan, rencana induk pelabuhan, pengembangan pelauhan, aktivitas bongkar barang
