Mass customization combines mass production with personalized customization, which avoids high cost, limited batch and long delivery time in customized production, and low flexibility and poor market reaction ability in mass production. However, due to the customization of its production strategy, mass customization production has disadvantages in cost and time in the production process. Aiming to these problems, this paper studies the promoting role of generic technology and modular customization methods in mass customization production mode. Through modular organization, modular design, modular manufacturing and modular assembly in industrial chain resources, to maximizes production capacity and achieve the goal of reducing enterprise production costs and improving enterprise production efficiency.

AbstractRegardless of unit production, mass production – an excellent production plan is always expected to combine the exact amount of materials at the right time with production cells and employees. An accurate production plan saves money by reducing production costs and time. It helps to achieve the goal and generate the best production plan. The article addresses the problems of material resource organization in industrial, mining and processing enterprises, affecting production efficiency. Particularly the problems of planning and preparation of unit, serial and mass production in relation to specific products. Depending on the nature of material consumption (basic or auxiliary materials), different planning methods and techniques are used.

The importance of material and financial resources rational use grows in the context of the economic crisis. In this regard, there is a need of a quality control system, which would make possible to fight mismanagement, squandering and misuse in the production sphere. This article explores the problems of production processes monitoring taking into account the technical capabilities of enterprises. The necessity of introducing the following indicators into the practical activities of production enterprises has been proved: coefficient of technical capabilities use (will allow to include in the cost of production more reasonable amount of depreciation); production capacity coefficient (will optimize the costs of maintaining and operating production equipment); coefficients of reference labor input, reference production equipment productivity, reference production intensity (expand the verification function of internal control and supplement it with the study of production costs from the position of their approximation to the standard, which are the costs of leading enterprises in the industry). The aim of introducing these indicators is to control the production process at the enterprise from the position of its compliance with the requirements of modern scientific and technological progress. The proposed innovations will improve the quality and objectivity of internal control, as well as contribute to the development of its strategic direction. Object of study - controlling system in production. The purpose of the study is to identify problematic issues of production control at domestic enterprises and develop proposals for their solution. Research methods - general scientific empirical and theoretical. The results of the article can be used by domestic manufacturing enterprises. KEY WORDS: PRODUCTION, EFFICIENCY, CONTROLLING, THE CONTROL, DEPRECIATION, COSTS, REFERENCE INDICATOR.

Suiker Unie focuses on a strong market position in Northwest Europe at the lowest possible production costs for sugar. The company tries to achieve this by giving attention to the entire production chain. An important pillar of this mission is sustainability. During the recent years Suiker Unie developed a Masterplan to prepare its factories for the new market situation after 2017. In line with Cosun’s strategy of profitable growth, scaling up production capacity of beet factories was defined as goal of this Masterplan. The ambition of reduction of production costs and sustainability (e.g. carbon-footprint) was translated into the challenging constraint to increase the capacity growth within the given steam supply and the actual odour and noise emissions. Based on a thorough bottleneck study a portfolio of measures for each factory is defined, grouped into debottlenecking, energy saving, optimization and environmental projects.

Pullout theory is very important in improving efficiency, quality, and production costs. Because production efficiency is too low for mechanical drafting equipment, a simple multi-field coupling model of fiber mechanics based on conserving momentum is proposed that considers the distribution of the fiber speed point, slip rate, and friction mechanics. When the roller draft multiple is increased, the position near the rear roller clamp mouth in the draft area will show a sharp decrease of fiber, which is caused by the rapid movement of the front fiber to drive the floating fiber movement, and it is also the existence of the fiber change point. When the roller spacing increases, the draft efficiency decreases, although the pressure applied by the roller to the fibrous strip has a weak effect on the draft efficiency. This research increases our understanding of drawing and provides theoretical support for the design of a new type of drawing.

Social housing customization in Brazil refers to the current processes of development and evolution of government-funded neighborhoods for the lowest-income population. The mass production of small housing units that do not satisfy family needs instigates a self-design and self-construction process post-occupancy to customize the units. Ultimately, these changes to the units bring unintended negative consequences for the families and the city. In this context, mass customization is seen as an alternative to address some of the problems related to unit design.

The seed capacity of red pine cones varies from about 30 to over 110, depending on the size of the cone and its position in the tree crown, and is determined by the number of ovules that are structurally complete at the time of pollination. These ovules occur in a central "productive" region and constitute less than one-half of the total. The remaining ovules, most: of which are in the proximal part of the cone, never become structurally perfect, and do not contribute to seed production. Abortion of ovules in the productive region usually reduces seed production efficiency to 50–60%, and is accompanied mainly by withering of the nucellus in the first year and failure to produce archegonia early in the second year. The extent of ovule abortion during the first year varies indirectly with cone size, seed capacity, and height in tree.

This paper establishes a parametric model on the motor hanging seat structure by pro / ENGINEER software, and then optimizes the structure of the hanging seat by the weight of the hanging seat as the objective function. Taking into account the stress and displacement constraints in the optimization process, the weight of the hanging seat is greatly reduced after being optimized. It is practical significance to save a large amount of raw materials for the mass production and to reduce production costs and create higher economic efficiency.
