Based on the research from 2000 to 2020 in China Knowledge Resource Database (CNKI) as the data source, with the help of CiteSpace V and VOSviewer digital technology, a knowledge map is drawn on the number of articles, issuing organizations and keywords of underground space landscape in China. Visualization technology shows the relationship between the structure, evolution, and cooperation of underground space and landscape research, and intuitively shows the research hotspots and frontier dynamics of underground space landscape in China. The experiments results show that the underground space landscape was in its infancy before 2003, and then it began to develop rapidly. At present, underground space landscape research in China mainly focuses on hot spots such as landscape design, urban underground space, and public space. Through the visualized map analysis of the underground space landscape literature, it shows the use of new energy and new technology to create energy-saving underground buildings will become a new research trend.

AbstractA new industrial revolution is on the verge in the energy domain considering the knowledge and skills acquired through the development of new energy technologies. Shale gas processing, unconventional oil exploitation, new exploring/drilling methods, mature renewable energy or in progress, all generated a wealth of knowledge in new technology. Therefore, this paper aims to analyse the positive and negative aspects of energy solutions, and to reveal the way to a world where a valid sustainable development, based on safe and rational premises, is actually considered. The paper also introduces suggestions for the energy system, which has a crucial importance in coping with the resource management of the future, where the economic, social, and environmental/climate needs of the post-crisis world should be suitably considered.

Innovations create both opportunities and dilemmas. Innovations provide new and purportedly better opportunities, but—because of their newness—they are often more uncertain and potentially worse than existing options. There are new drugs, new energy sources, new foods, new manufacturing technologies, new toys and new pedagogical methods, new weapon systems, new home appliances, and many other discoveries and inventions. To use or not to use a new and promising but unfamiliar and hence uncertain innovation? That dilemma faces just about everybody. Furthermore, the paradigm of the innovation dilemma characterizes many situations even when a new technology is not actually involved. The dilemma arises from new attitudes, like individual responsibility for the global environment, or new social conceptions, like global allegiance and self-identity transcending all nation-states. These dilemmas have far-reaching implications for individuals, organizations, and society at large as they make decisions in the age of innovation. The uncritical belief in outcome optimization—“more is better, so most is best”—pervades decision-making in all domains, but this is often irresponsible when facing the uncertainties of innovation. There is a great need for practical conceptual tools for understanding and managing the dilemmas of innovation. This book offers a new direction for a wide audience. It discusses examples from many fields, including e-reading, online learning, bipolar disorder and pregnancy, disruptive technology in industry, stock markets, agricultural productivity and world hunger, military hardware, military intelligence, biological conservation, and more.

With the rapid expansion of the campus scale and the increasing of the geographically dispersed campus, how to adopt new theory, new method and new technology to realize the equipment optimized assignment and the information management is a new research challenge. It is the key to safeguard the national fund to use reasonably, and to speed up the development of education healthily. Through analyzing the domestic and foreign related research works, the paper proposed that it can take use of the spatial data expression and analysis with Geographic Information System (GIS) to realize the large-scale and inter-campuses equipment optimized assignment and information management. It discussed the mathematics model and the system architecture. Moreover, the paper described the key implementation technology in great detail such as spatial data mapping with MapInfo professional 9 and the development of WebGIS functions with MapXtreme. The results show that the solution is feasible and effective.

In recent years, Cloud manufacturing has become a new research trend in manufacturing systems leading to the next generation of production paradigm. However, the interoperability issue still requires more research due to the heterogeneous environment caused by multiple Cloud services and applications developed in different platforms and languages. Therefore, this research aims to combat the interoperability issue in Cloud Manufacturing System. During implementation, the industrial users, especially Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), are normally short of budget for hardware and software investment due to financial stresses, but they are facing multiple challenges required by customers at the same time including security requirements, safety regulations. Therefore in this research work, the proposed Cloud manufacturing system is specifically tailored for SMEs.


Cloud computing is the theoretical basis for future computing. All the global frameworks are now looking up to architecture which is purely based on cloud. Being the core of such a large web of network, it is important to consider the security aspects in a cloud based computing environment. This has resulted in a new research trend on the security issues of cloud. Cloud is a popular paradigm with extreme abilities and benefits for trending ICT environment. On the other end the major concern came in terms of security and privacy while adopting the cloud technology. This article is an effort to cover the challenges in fields like storage, virtualization and communication in cloud .Also it is a try to elaborate relevance of current cryptographic approach in order to increase security of cloud in ICT.

This chapter constitutes the continuation of a new research trend binding rough set theory with concurrency theory. In general, this trend concerns the following problems: discovering concurrent system models from experimental data represented by information systems, dynamic information systems or specialized matrices, a use of rough set methods for extracting knowledge from data, a use of rules for describing system behaviors, and modeling and analyzing of concurrent systems by means of Petri nets on the basis of extracted rules. Some automatized methods of discovering concurrent system models from data tables are presented. Data tables are created on the basis of observations or specifications of process behaviors in the modeled systems. Proposed methods are based on rough set theory and colored Petri net theory.

Purpose Due to the increasing demand for public services, as a new form of public governance, e-participation has emerged. Scholars from various disciplines have published plenty of research results on e-participation. This paper aims to reveal the research status frontiers directly by mapping knowledge domains. Design/methodology/approach The authors take 1,322 articles on e-participation published in Web of Science from 2001 to 2017 as research object. They then run the information visualization software CiteSpace to drill deeper into the literature data. Findings The study found that e-participation research has the obvious interdisciplinary feature; the author and institution cooperation networks with less internal cooperation are relatively sparse; the USA ranks first in the field of e-participation research, followed by the UK, with the other countries lagged behind; and e-participation through social media is gradually becoming the new research focus. Originality/value Based on the objective data and information visualization technology, the research intuitively reveals the research status and development trend of e-participation.

Modern computer memory, in addition to cache memory, is mainly divided into two categories: internal memory and external memory. External memory mainly comprises of magnetic or optical disks, floppy disks, tapes, like hard disks, CDs, which can store information, and do not depend on electricity to save information. In the new technology, the computer memory materials are facing a revolution of industry upgrade. In this paper, based on a lot of information the author makes a brief analysis of the new material of the external memory, that is, the phase change storage materials, titanium oxide crystals form materials, magnetic materials and organic ferroelectric materials, and comprehensively promote the new research and new development of computer storage materials.

Earthquakes can result in terrible disasters. The new technology of structural control has been acknowledged as the better way to reduce the seismic responses of structures during strong ground motions. The passive control that belongs to the structural control technology can be classified into the base isolation and energy dissipation systems. In this study, a new energy dissipation device called as highly plastic material damper has been proposed. This study focuses on testing and exploring the mechanical behavior of the highly plastic damper proposed by the research group in Feng Chia University, Taichung, Taiwan. The damper was tested in the MTS System to sustain cyclic loadings. The tests include the material stability, durability, the relationship between the force and velocity, and the temperature effect on energy dissipation capacity, etc. From experimental results, it is shown that the force-deformation hysteresis loop of the highly plastic material damper looks like an ellipse in shape for small amplitudes, and a quadrilateral shape for large amplitudes. These results express that the mechanical behavior of the highly plastic material damper depends on the velocity in small amplitudes, and on the displacement in large amplitudes. Based on these observations, the highly plastic material damper could be suitable not only for resisting wind loads but also for controlling seismic responses of a structure during earthquakes.
