In contemporary conditions, the transport and logistics system (TLS) is developing in the field of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and highly automated vehicles (HAV), but to create a unified integrated stream management system it is necessary to search for a new approach, which would reduce the load on infrastructure and decrease transaction costs. And the technologies of the distributed data register, which have the status of “end-to-end” digital technologies, have the opportunity today to combine these spheres in the field of functioning and forecasting the rational choice of optimizing streaming processes, and also ensure the formation of a new TLS type. For its development today, it is necessary to introduce “regulatory sandboxes”, which are a general trend for testing ready-made solutions in the field of smart contracts development. At the same time, this approach enables to collect and take into account the consumers’ opinions; it also provides a higher level of infrastructure reliability in order to ensure sustainable economic development.

Subject. The article considers functioning and development of process flows of transportation and logistics system of a smart city. Objectives. The study identifies factors and dependencies of the quality of human life on the organization and management of stream processes. Methods. I perform a comparative analysis of previous studies, taking into account the uniquely designed results, and the econometric analysis. Results. The study builds multiple regression models that are associated with stream processes, highlights interdependent indicators of temporary traffic and pollution that affect the indicator of life quality. However, the identified congestion indicator enables to predict the time spent in traffic jams per year for all participants of stream processes. Conclusions. The introduction of modern intelligent transportation systems as a component of the transportation and logistics system of a smart city does not fully solve the problems of congestion in cities at the current rate of urbanization and motorization. A viable solution is to develop cooperative and autonomous intelligent transportation systems based on the logistics approach. This will ensure control over congestion, the reduction of which will contribute to improving the life quality of people in urban areas.

The status of transportation industry development of China has shown the necessity and urgency of the development of intelligent transportation systems. This article proposed a segmentation algorithm of traffic prohibited region based on wavelet transform. Based on the de-noising and image enhancement, sharpening pretreatment of the traffic video image captured on real-time, the algorithm combines the method determining the quadrilateral based on the sample images manually with the image segmentation based on wavelet transform in order to get the segmentation of traffic prohibited region which will be used in the detection of vehicle pressing highway central line region. The experimental results show that in the algorithm not only meet the real-time requirement of foundations but also improves the successful rate of detection results.

Intelligence transportation system is a new kind of information, intelligence and socialization modern transportation system. Cloud computing is a shared data infrastructure method emerged in recent years, which is able to combine the large procedure pool and the data pool to provide a variety of IT application services. The intelligent transportation systems using cloud calculation technology, on the one hand, can integrate multiple heterogeneous, distributed data sources; on the other hand it is formed by multiple server clusters, providing the basic framework of storage, transmission, processing, integration of massive data. In this paper, by studying the applications of cloud calculation technology in the field of intelligence transportation, the author proposed the ITS platform based on cloud calculation.

Integration technologies of artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous vehicles play important roles in intelligent transportation systems (ITS). In order to achieve better logistics distribution efficiency, this paper proposes an intelligent actuator of an indoor logistics system by fusing multiple involved sensors. Firstly, an actuator based on a four-wheel differential chassis is equipped with sensors, including an RGB camera, a lidar and an indoor inertial navigation system, by which autonomous driving can be realized. Secondly, cross-floor positioning can be realized by multi-node simultaneous localization and mappings (SLAM) based on the Cartographer algorithm Thirdly the actuator can communicate with elevators and take the elevator to the designated delivery floor. Finally, a novel indoor route planning strategy is designed based on an A* algorithm and genetic algorithm (GA) and an actual building is tested as a scenario. The experimental results have shown that the actuator can model the indoor mapping and develop the optimal route effectively. At the same time, the actuator displays its superiority in detecting the dynamic obstacles and actively avoiding the collision in the indoor scenario. Through communicating with indoor elevators, the final delivery task can be completed accurately by autonomous driving.

Presented are the essential temporal data constructs for providing solutions for transportation applications that use dynamic data, such as facility management systems, safety and incident management, transportation planning, and intelligent transportation systems. These temporal data constructs are categorized as time stamps, temporal topology, and temporal referencing. The characteristics of these constructs are described, and two geospatial standards that appear to support these constructs are reviewed. A new approach specialized for transportation applications that builds on the temporal data constructs of these standards is provided through the multidimensional location referencing system data model.

Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) is the most growing research area in wireless communication and has been gaining significant attention over recent years due to its role in designing intelligent transportation systems. Wireless multi-hop forwarding in VANETs is challenging since the data has to be relayed as soon as possible through the intermediate vehicles from the source to destination. This paper proposes a modified fuzzy-based greedy routing protocol (MFGR) which is an enhanced version of fuzzy logic-based greedy routing protocol (FLGR). Our proposed protocol applies fuzzy logic for the selection of the next greedy forwarder to forward the data reliably towards the destination. Five parameters, namely distance, direction, speed, position, and trust have been used to evaluate the node’s stability using fuzzy logic. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed MFGR scheme can achieve the best performance in terms of the highest packet delivery ratio (PDR) and minimizes the average number of hops among all protocols.
