Materials will play an important role in any manufacturing sector. Additive manufacturing is the one of the most Emerging Manufacturing technology which is adding a sustainable dimension to Human life by using bio medical dental aligners in orthodontics. The new presentation of Sustainable manufacturing is upsetting endodontist, furthermore, it is in any event, it is applied to dental treatment of poor alignment of teeth and jaws. Exact, customized, Detachable aligners are an appropriate option in contrast to ordinary orthodontic machines, offering a more agreeable furthermore, and productive answer for patients Simultaneously, Detachable Clips are created by a thermoset’s interaction utilizing different sorts of thermoset elements. The Elastomer system modifies the Characteristics of the element, and the intra oral climate moreover changes the characteristic of an unmistakable clip, influencing execution of the element. The current audit recommends the appropriateness of Additive manufactured aligners is better than that of thermoset made aligners due to earlier expanded precision, load obstruction, and lower twisting. It is a general steadier approach to produce an aligner where sub millimetre developments can have an effect in treatment result. Direct 3D printing addresses an intricate strategy to command the density of the aligner and in this manner has superior capacity to command the power angle that are utilized to create teeth development. There is presently no other endorsed material available that can make this.

Sustainable manufacturing has been a popular topic of research for quite some time now. There are various concepts and ideas which have claimed to have a significant impact on sustainability of the manufacturing industry like lean, green and agile manufacturing. Industry 4.0 is the latest and by far the one with the maximum potential of changing the manufacturing sector forever. It is rightly called as “the fourth industrial revolution”. It is a wide concept which covers many state of the art technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Augmented reality etc. But like every big revolution, it is to face many challenges also. In this review, we are looking at this ‘yet in infancy’ concept and its role in achieving a sustainable manufacturing sector as discussed by researchers. Different scholars have come up with different challenges to implementation of I4.0 which they thought to be of some significance. There is going to  review such challenges making a list of 13 such challenges. Then, it also throw some light on the new challenge faced by all of humanity in the form of SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and how it is affecting the manufacturing sector.

Additive manufacturing (AM) is gaining significant importance, as demand for customized products is increasing nowadays. AM is one of the disruptive technologies of Industry 4.0, which can reduce waste generation, enabling sustainability. The adoption of sustainable practices in the manufacturing sector is due to the need of the current scenario to minimize harmful emissions and for human wellbeing. In this regard, AM technologies are integrated with sustainable manufacturing concepts to contribute toward sustainable AM (SAM), with various benefits from the design, manufacturing, use, and EoL perspectives. Still, many sustainability issues are associated with AM processes, namely limited speed and the uncertain performance of fabricated parts. From this viewpoint, it is essential to analyze the challenges associated with adopting SAM practices. This article presents identification and analysis of the potential challenges associated with adopting SAM practices. Fifteen SAM challenges have been identified from the literature survey and analyzed using the “Gray Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution” (G-TOPSIS) approach. The priority order of the challenges has been identified. The study identified that “training towards SAM benefits” and “limited materials recycling potential” were the significant challenges in adopting SAM practices in the manufacturing sector. The present study will help industry practitioners, decision makers, and researchers effectively analyze the challenges associated with SAM for its effective implementation. Researchers can utilize the findings of the study for establishing the guidelines for the adoption of SAM.

The recent success of additive manufacturing processes (also called, 3D printing) in the manufacturing sector has led to a shift in the focus from simple prototyping to real production-grade technology. The enhanced capabilities of 3D printing processes to build intricate geometric shapes with high precision and resolution have led to their increased use in fabrication of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). The 3D printing technology has offered tremendous flexibility to users for fabricating custom-built components. Over the past few decades, different types of 3D printing technologies have been developed. This article provides a comprehensive review of the recent developments and significant achievements in most widely used 3D printing technologies for MEMS fabrication, their working methodology, advantages, limitations, and potential applications. Furthermore, some of the emerging hybrid 3D printing technologies are discussed, and the current challenges associated with the 3D printing processes are addressed. Finally, future directions for process improvements in 3D printing techniques are presented.

COVID 19 has raised the profile of biosecurity. However, biosecurity is not only about protecting human life. This issue brings together mini-reviews examining recent developments and thinking around some of the tools, behaviours and concepts around biosecurity. They illustrate the multi-disciplinary nature of the subject, demonstrating the interface between research and policy. Biosecurity practices aim to prevent the spread of harmful organisms; recognising that 2020 is the International Year of Plant Health, several focus on plant biosecurity although invasive species and animal health concerns are also captured. The reviews show progress in developing early warning systems and that plant protection organisations are increasingly using tools that compare multiple pest threats to prioritise responses. The bespoke modelling of threats can inform risk management responses and synergies between meteorology and biosecurity provide opportunities for increased collaboration. There is scope to develop more generic models, increasing their accessibility to policy makers. Recent research can improve pest surveillance programs accounting for real-world constraints. Social science examining individual farmer behaviours has informed biosecurity policy; taking a broader socio-cultural approach to better understand farming networks has the potential to change behaviours in a new way. When encouraging public recreationists to adopt positive biosecurity behaviours communications must align with their values. Bringing together the human, animal, plant and environmental health sectors to address biosecurity risks in a common and systematic manner within the One Biosecurity concept can be achieved through multi-disciplinary working involving the life, physical and social sciences with the support of legislative bodies and the public.

Summary: Different shapes of individual subjective discount functions were compared using real measures of willingness to accept future monetary outcomes in an experiment. The two-parameter hyperbolic discount function described the data better than three alternative one-parameter discount functions. However, the hyperbolic discount functions did not explain the common difference effect better than the classical discount function. Discount functions were also estimated from survey data of Dutch households who reported their willingness to postpone positive and negative amounts. Future positive amounts were discounted more than future negative amounts and smaller amounts were discounted more than larger amounts. Furthermore, younger people discounted more than older people. Finally, discount functions were used in explaining consumers' willingness to pay for an energy-saving durable good. In this case, the two-parameter discount model could not be estimated and the one-parameter models did not differ significantly in explaining the data.

The relation between authoritarianism and social dominance orientation was analyzed, with authoritarianism measured using a three-dimensional scale. The implicit multidimensional structure (authoritarian submission, conventionalism, authoritarian aggression) of Altemeyer’s (1981, 1988) conceptualization of authoritarianism is inconsistent with its one-dimensional methodological operationalization. The dimensionality of authoritarianism was investigated using confirmatory factor analysis in a sample of 713 university students. As hypothesized, the three-factor model fit the data significantly better than the one-factor model. Regression analyses revealed that only authoritarian aggression was related to social dominance orientation. That is, only intolerance of deviance was related to high social dominance, whereas submissiveness was not.

Background: Elderly is the final stage of the human life cycle, that is part of the inevitable life process and will be experienced by every individual. At this stage the individual undergoes many changes both physically and mentally, especially setbacks in various functions and abilities he once had. Preliminary study in Social House Tresna Wreda Yogyakarta Budhi Luhur Units there are 16 elderly who experience physical immobilization. In the social house has done various activities for the elderly are still active, but the elderly who experienced muscle weakness is not able to follow the exercise, so it needs to do ROM (Range Of Motion) exercise.   Objective: The general purpose of this research is to know the effect of Range Of Motion (ROM) Active Assitif training to increase the range of motion of joints in elderly who experience physical immobility at Social House of Tresna Werdha Yogyakarta unit Budhi Luhur.   Methode: This study was included in the type of pre-experiment, using the One Group Pretest Posttest design in which the range of motion of the joints before (pretest) and posttest (ROM) was performed  ROM. Subjects in this study were all elderly with impaired physical mobility in Social House Tresna Wreda Yogyakarta Unit Budhi Luhur a number of 14 elderly people. Data analysis in this research use paired sample t-test statistic  Result: The result of this research shows that there is influence of ROM (Range of Motion) Active training to increase of range of motion of joints in elderly who experience physical immobility at Social House Tresna Wredha Yogyakarta Unit Budhi Luhur.  Conclusion: There is influence of ROM (Range of Motion) Active training to increase of range of motion of joints in elderly who experience physical immobility at Social House Tresna Wredha Yogyakarta Unit Budhi Luhur.

During the early 1940s, journalists observed that after years of men controlling women’s fashion, Hollywood had become “a fashion center in which women designers are getting to be a big power.” In a town where “the working girl is queen,” it was women who really knew how to dress working women. Edith Head’s name dominates Hollywood costume design. Though a relatively poor sketch artist who refused to sew in public, Head understood what the average woman wanted to wear and knew better than anyone how to craft her image as the-one-and-only Edith Head. However, she was one of many women who designed Hollywood glamour in the studio era. This chapter juxtaposes Head’s career with that of a younger, fiercely independent designer who would quickly upstage Head as a creative force. In many senses, Dorothy Jeakins’s postwar career ascent indicated the waning of the Hollywood system and the powerful relationship between female designers, stars, and fans.

AbstractPhotopolymerization-based three-dimensional (3D) printing can enable customized manufacturing that is difficult to achieve through other traditional means. Nevertheless, it remains challenging to achieve efficient 3D printing due to the compromise between print speed and resolution. Herein, we report an efficient 3D printing approach based on the photooxidation of ketocoumarin that functions as the photosensitizer during photopolymerization, which can simultaneously deliver high print speed (5.1 cm h−1) and high print resolution (23 μm) on a common 3D printer. Mechanistically, the initiating radical and deethylated ketocoumarin are both generated upon visible light exposure, with the former giving rise to rapid photopolymerization and high print speed while the latter ensuring high print resolution by confining the light penetration. By comparison, the printed feature is hard to identify when the ketocoumarin encounters photoreduction due to the increased lateral photopolymerization. The proposed approach here provides a viable solution towards efficient additive manufacturing by controlling the photoreaction of photosensitizers during photopolymerization.
