With the continuous innovation of related technology and the rapid development of information industry, the Internet of things, as a new product of information technology, has been applied in many fields, especially in the field of residential home. It is of great significance to promote the quality of people's daily life. In view of this, this paper briefly analyzes the collection and transmission of indoor remote control signal. On the basis of this, the design of remote control software is analyzed and discussed. Finally, the practical application test shows that the remote smart home control system designed by this research can realize the effective transmission of the indoor electrical control of information. It can meet the needs of practical use both in controlling accuracy and the delay.

A set of smart home control system based on Internet of Things is proposed due to the rapid development of smart home. This paper designs a system platform which people can use to make a remote query and control the home applications. Constrained Application Protocol is utilized in the communication between terminal devices which have limited memory and low calculation efficiency. The system has the characteristics of smart sensor, reliable transmission and intelligent processing. With the devices connected to the Internet, the results show that the system runs steadily so that it can provide the basis for further research of smart home.

Although much less fatal than the Ebola and previous SARS virus epidemics, the current coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) has spread to more people in more countries in a much shorter time frame. With the rapid development of the Internet of things, it has played an important role to track/monitor transmission movements throughout the population. The technology infrastructure between mobile devices, wearable devices and sensors, smart home device makes it possible to readily deploy solutions to monitor and collect data and perform analysis to ensure policy make intelligent, rapid decisions. This research combines AOL and Support Vector Machine to form the Internet of things cycle through smart home. The parameters of Support Vector Machine model are optimized by ALO algorithm, which shortens the learning time and improves the performance of classifier. Then, the algorithm of ALO is used to optimize the Support Vector Machine intrusion detection method and agent technology, and the intrusion detection model is established. Experimental results show that the combination of these two can effectively reduce the false alarm rate of network intrusion.

Technological developments continue to develop rapidly until the generation of the Internet of things (IoT). IoT is a collection of objects, in the form of physical devices (hardware / embedded systems) that can exchange information between operators or other devices connected to the system. One of the benefits that can be felt is a smart home or smart home, which is a term used to describe a modern residence, with remote control such as controlling electronic goods. This control is intended for savings in electricity use. By using the ESP32 which functions as a liaison between the device and the internet network so that electronic goods that are available from home can be controlled by using an application installed on the smartphone. Based on tests carried out for the same network with a distance of 20 meters the device is successfully controlled, namely turning on and off the electronic device with a response time of 5s for the fastest time and 40s for the longest time, then for different networks, the control can still be done. So that with this smart home application, electricity costs can be saved.

With the rapid development of information technology, all kinds of smart home appliance has appeared. Smart refrigerator is one of them. In this paper, a food management system for smart refrigerator is proposed, which is based on the Internet of Things. This management system could collect the food information in the fridge and analyze the user's preferences. Shopping list and recommended recipes could be generated and sent to user. It provides users with a more personalized service, improve the user experience.
