Abstract: In this paper, an IoT based automated water irrigation system is proposed. This system is used to increase the production rate of agriculture based on the internet of things (IoT) and cloud computing. Sensor technology has been developed and various kinds of sensor such as humidity, temperature, soil moisture sensor, and pH sensors are used to collect information about the condition of the soil. By using the advanced technologies, the farmers get benefitted for better production in agriculture. Keywords: Sprinkling, Smart Sensor Pouch, MSP 430, RS 485 Port, IoT, Cloud Computing

AbstractMiniaturized single-mode thickness-shear pressure transducer combined with high-temperature SOI, silicon on insulator, integrated circuit technology is proposed as network-ready high-pressure high-resolution smart sensor for distributed data acquisition in oil and gas production wells. The transducer miniaturization is investigated with a full 3D computer model previously developed by the authors to assess the impact of intrinsic losses and various geometrical features on transducer performance. Over the last decades there has been a trend toward size reduction of high-resolution pressure transducer. The implemented model provides insight into the evolution of high-resolution pressure transducers from Hewlett-Packard™  to Quartzdyne™  and beyond. Distributed measurement in production oil wells in extreme harsh environment, such as found in the pre-salt layer, is an unsolved problem. The industry move toward electrified wells offers an opportunity for application of smart sensor technology and power line communications to achieve distributed high-resolution data acquisition.

With the development of motion capture technology, it has become a reality to efficiently and quickly obtain realistic human motion information. Motion capture technology has been successfully applied in many fields such as sports competitions, animation games, and film and television production. This article is aimed at studying the application of motion capture technology based on smart sensors in ice and snow sports. Put forward the idea of applying smart sensor-based motion capture technology to ice and snow sports. This article introduces in detail smart sensors, motion capture technology, and related content of ice and snow sports and conducts specific experiments on the application of smart sensor-based motion capture technology in ice and snow sports. The experimental results show that motion capture based on smart sensor technology can help athletes improve their skills and tactics. At the same time, motion capture technology based on smart sensors is also loved by most coaches and athletes, and everyone’s satisfaction with this technology has reached more than 70%.

With the recent increase in the use of augmented reality (AR) in educational laboratory settings, there is a need for new intelligent sensor systems capturing all aspects of the real environment. We present a smart sensor system meeting these requirements for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) experiments in electrical circuits. The system consists of custom experiment boxes and cables combined with an application for the Microsoft HoloLens 2, which creates an AR experiment environment. The boxes combine sensors for measuring the electrical voltage and current at the integrated electrical components as well as a reconstruction of the currently constructed electrical circuit and the position of the sensor box on a table. Combing these data, the AR application visualizes the measurement data spatially and temporally coherent to the real experiment boxes, thus fulfilling demands derived from traditional multimedia learning theory. Following an evaluation of the accuracy and precision of the presented sensors, the usability of the system was evaluated with n=20 pupils in a German high school. In this evaluation, the usability of the system was rated with a system usability score of 94 out of 100.

Solving the problem of rural poverty is a difficult problem for the country to enter a well-off society in an all-round way. Therefore, this paper conducts an experimental analysis based on the impact of smart sensor systems on the relative poverty in rural areas. This article is aimed at studying the related factors of rural poverty and improving relative poverty in rural areas. In this regard, this article proposes an intelligent processing function based on smart sensors. Multiple sensors work together to process relatively complex things. Then, through the experimental analysis of GH efficiency, the data collected in the experimental area is used as the data. Combining the Lorentz curve and Gini coefficient analysis to determine the influencing factors of rural relative poverty. This article also selected 10 areas for experimentation. The experimental results show that the proportion of middle school education from 2014 to 2020 is between 24.3% and 34%, and the number of poor people has also declined, indicating that education level is a factor affecting rural poverty. Therefore, based on the intelligent sensor system, the factors of relative poverty in rural areas can be found, and related measures can be analyzed. By implementing the rural poverty alleviation strategy, the relative poverty situation in rural areas can be effectively improved.
