Abstrak  Menyumpit adalah sebuah kegiatan yang dilakukan suku Dayak untuk berburu. Di Kalimantan timur terdapat Festival Erau yang betujuan melestarikan budaya kutai. Di ajang perlombaan tersebut para peserta lomba menyumpit kesulitan membawa sumpit yang sangat panjang saat berlomba. Motif Dayak adalah merupakan perpaduan antara suatu pola dasar yang memiliki artinya masing-masing, kemudian dikreasikan dalam berbagai perpaduan beberapa motif dasar sehingga menjadi satu kesatuan rangkaian makna yang berarti. Penulis ingin mendesain tas sumpit, yaitu wadah untuk membawa peralatan sumpit tersebut. Metode perancangan yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan pengumpulan data, analisa data, menentukan konsep desain, membuat desain alternatif, mengembangkan desain alternatif, hingga desain akhir. Untuk itu dengan adanya “Desain Sarana Bawa Olahraga Sumpit”, peserta lomba dapat membawa sumpit dengan nyaman dan aman saat berlomba dengan desain yang ergonmis serta estetis, karena sarana bawa ini memiliki motif Dayak Kalimantan Timur. Dilengkapi dengan konfigurasi yang teratur dan rapi, dan mengutamakan kenyamanan dan keamanan bagi peserta lomba. Sehingga semua dapat terakomodir dalam tas. In eastern Kalimantan there is the Erau Festival which aims to preserve the culture of Kutai. In contest, the competitors contend with the difficulty of carrying very long Blowguns while competing. Dayak motif is a combination of an archetype that has its own meaning, then creation in various combinations of several basic motives that become a unity meaning meaningful circuit. The author wants to design a Blowgun bag, the container to carry the Blowguns. The design method is to collect data, analyze the data, determine the design concept, create alternative design, develop alternative design, until the final design. For that with the "Design Of Blowgun Sport Bag", users can carry Blowguns comfortably and safely while competing with ergonomic and aesthetic designs, because the vehicle has East Dayak motifs. Equipped with an orderly and neat configuration, and prioritizes comfort and safety for the users. So that all can be accommodated in the bag. Keywords: Blowguns, bags, sports, Dayak

ABSTRACTGardening is an activity cultural ancestors which has been passed down from generation to generation that is on the face of this earth until humans are present. Gardening can not only be done on vast land but also in the yard of the house. The large number of garden tools such as sputters, chainsaws, sekateur, hand scrapers, hand forks, and machetes. carrying a special bag to make things easier bring the equipment is before the equipment is only placed in a backpack along with other equipment, so it must be unpacked when the equipment will be used. then often every time using gardening tools but after wearing it we sometimes forget to put and left behind after being used to scattered and cluttered everywhere.Therefore it is necessary to create special means to carry and tidy up the plantation equipment. The design method used is collecting data, analyze the data, determine the design concept, create alternative design, developing alternative designs, to final design. To that end, with the "design of plantation tool bag", users can carry and store gardening equipment, with a more ergonomic design, and aesthetically modern.Keywords: gardening, bag, take, tools.

AbstractFencing is a martial arts using weapons that had been develoed into an agility sport with weapons that emphasize on ability techniques such as cutting, stabbing or fending off opponent's weapons by using the skill in utilizing hand agility. In order to gain high skill the athletes must do routine exercises. For the purpose the athletes need some carrying device that is design accordingly. The research conduct in order to design specific carrying device for this specific purposes. The design method begin with data collecting, analysing the data, determine the design concept, create alternative design, develop alternative design, until the final design. A special carrying device for placing the fencing equipment is then designed for specific purpose that is for routine exercise. Equipped with a regular and neat configuration, and prioritizes comfort and security for users the carrying device is design adopting the Vintage style, for a more luxurious, elegant, yet traditional.Keywords: fencing, evintage, fencing equipment, carrying tool.

An attempt to produce of roller compacted concrete (RCC) improved by adding waste plastic fibers (WPFs) resulting from cutting the PET beverage bottles was recorded in this study. The method which is used for production of RCC is an approved design method for ACI committee (5R-207,1980)[1]. WPF was added by volumetric percentages ranging between (0.5 to 2 %) and reference concrete mix was produced for comparison reason. Many tests were conducted on the models produced by rolling compacted concrete like compressive strength, flexural strength, modulus of elasticity, dry density, water absorption and ultrasonic pulse velocity. The analysis of the results showed that the use of plastic waste fibers (1%) had led to improvement in the properties of each of the compressive strength and flexural strength compared with reference concrete. Results also showed that the addition of these, fibers increase water absorption and reduce the speed of Ultrasonic pulse velocity.

To enhance the crack resistance of asphalt-treated base (ATB), a type of gapped and semiopened gradation ATB mixture, GSOG, was designed. Its design method was proposed based on the volume design method and performance tests. Firstly, several gradations were designed preliminarily in which middle particle sizes of coarse aggregates were partially or completely gapped according to the gradation specification. Secondly, their voids in coarse aggregates (VCA) were determined through dry rod compaction test on coarse aggregates, and then their theoretical voids were calculated. Gradations whose theoretical voids met the requirements were selected to fabricate specimens with Superpave Gyratory Compactor, and their voids were determined using vacuum sealing method and submerged weight in water method. Finally, gradations whose voids meet requirements were selected to fabricate different types of specimens for various performance tests, and the optimal gradation can be selected comprehensively considering their performances, especially focusing on their crack resistance. According to this gradation design method, the gradation of GSOG-25 was designed, and its performances, including high-temperature stability, water stability, fatigue, and antireflection crack resistance, were measured and compared to ordinary ATB-25. The results demonstrate that the performance of GSOG-25 is much better than that of ordinary ATB-25, especially in anticracking capacity.

In this study, stone mastic asphalt (SMA-13) mixtures were designed using three methods, namely the vertical-vibration testing method (VVTM), Marshall method, and superpave gyratory compactor method (SGC). The performances of SMA-13 designed by all three methods were measured and compared. Results show that the optimal asphalt content of the asphalt mixture was 5% lower in the VVTM-designed SMA-13 than in the Marshall-designed and SGC-designed asphalts mixture. In comparison with the Marshall- and SGC-designed asphalts mixture, the VVTM-designed SMA-13 exhibited higher density (2.4% and 2.2% increase, respectively), mechanical properties (32% and 13% increase, respectively), high-temperature rut resistance (30% and 8% increase, respectively), low-temperature crack resistance (20% and 17% increase, respectively), water stability (4% and 3% increase, respectively), and fatigue life (at least 33% and 9% increase, respectively). The VVTM-designed SMA-13 exhibited a deeper short-term aging degree than the other SMA-13 specimens, but a smaller long-term aging degree. In summary, the SMA-13 mixture designed by the VVTM method delivered a better road performance and durability than the traditional design method, enabling improved designs of SMA mixtures.

Abstract. The double-layer combined die is used for its longer life in forging. Autofrettage is a well-known elastic–plastic technology that increases the durability of thick-walled cylinders. This study explores an alternative design method of the double-layer combined die using autofrettage theory. An analytical solution for the autofrettage process of the double-layer combined die is obtained based on Lamé's equation. The relationship between the autofrettage pressure and the yield radius of the die insert is obtained, and expressions of residual stresses and displacements, which are directly related to geometric parameters, material properties and internal pressure, are derived. The finite-element simulation of a specific case is performed, and good agreement between theoretical calculations and simulation results is found. Furthermore, the effects of important parameters, including the ratio of the plastic area and yield strength of the die insert and the outer diameters of the die insert and stress ring, on the autofrettage effect are investigated. Compared with the conventional combined die, the autofrettaged die can bear larger working pressure, as expected. The use of the autofrettaged die can reduce the amount of expensive material required for the die insert and the working space of the die set, which would benefit the practical forging process.
