The paper presents the novel HF-GEN method for determining the characteristics of Electrical Appliance (EA) operating in the end-user environment. The method includes a measurement system that uses a pulse signal generator to improve the quality of EA identification. Its structure and the principles of operation are presented. A method for determining the characteristics of the current signals’ transients using the cross-correlation is described. Its result is the appliance signature with a set of features characterizing its state of operation. The quality of the obtained signature is evaluated in the standard classification task with the aim of identifying the particular appliance’s state based on the analysis of features by three independent algorithms. Experimental results for 15 EAs categories show the usefulness of the proposed approach.

The need for electrical energy is vital because electrical equipment generally uses electricity as the main energy. Electricity is energy that comes from petroleum which must be saved in its use. To save electricity usage, it is necessary to use electricity as efficiently as possible by not allowing this energy to be wasted. This paper aims to design an application for controlling electrical equipment remotely using the internet network. This tool uses Esp8266 as a link with the internet network, and uses applications on Android as a controlling media. When esp8266 is connected to the internet network and the on / off button on the android application is pressed, the ac and fan lights will turn on or off according to the button pressed. The results of testing this remote electrical appliance controller are that the tool can work properly turning on or off the lights and fans when connected to the internet without distance restrictions.

YouTube's maturation as a platform can be seen through a collection of social norms, audience expectations, and politics, all of which weave themselves into the technosocial fabric of digital life. As such, certain practices that regulate the flow of information have become normalized across a certain subset of YouTube channels. This paper will look at this practice among YouTubers that are “faceless”—content creators who do not reveal their faces on camera while voluntarily revealing many other aspects of their identity. Specifically, a content analysis is performed on these channels: The Lockpicking Lawyer, AvE, SteadyCraftin, This Old Tony, bigclivedotcom, CGP Grey, and fastASMR. The wide range of categories these channels belong to (DIY, self help, science and technology, home crafting, electrical appliance teardown, and audio therapy) indicates that choosing to remain faceless is not a function of a certain type of material, but rather a salient trend that crosscuts YouTube genres. The channels analyzed suggest that these YouTubers feel empowered through remaining faceless, allowing for increased disclosure about the topic at hand. They also demonstrate that Faceless YouTubers selectively share information depending on a range of motivations, all of which revolve around imparting meaningful content to specific audiences while maintaining a specifically-constructed notion of privacy. As a platform that is continually evolving, this paper represents an advance in the study of YouTube.

The remote control system on electrical equipment in the room can be fulfilled through the internet as an IoT (Internet of Things) implementation. All devices managed from one interface, so home appliances management delivered quickly and conveniently. The main contribution in this research is IP based controlling for rooms with control lights and vertical curtains, and also the temperature of the air conditioner (AC) with IoT Technology. The used hardware is Raspberry Pi 3 as a server, Relay, motor stepper, IR led Transmitter, and temperature sensor DS18B20. For implementation, an android application is built by MIT App Inventor 2. The results show that all features function correctly, but each device responds with a different delay value.  Delay time response of a lamp, vertical blind, and AC is up to 1.5 sec, 2.1 sec, and 1.6 sec, respectively.electrical appliances, IoT, controlling system, smart room
