The propagation of household recycling is undeniable and thorough. Recycling behaviour among households in urban areas and Malaysia has, however, received less attention. Therefore, the purpose of this preliminary study is to outline the influence that household behaviour is motivated through waste recycling. The survey carried out in six (6) suburbs of Shah Alam using a convenient sampling method to perform a site inventory and questionnaire survey. The findings are affected by the influences of recycling and individual activities representing their contribution to recycling domestic waste. Keywords: Human Behaviour; Domestic Waste Recycling; Waste Generation; Urban Households. eISSN  2514-751X © 2020 The Authors. This study is a preliminary study of the politics of recognition of women with disabilities in th eaftermath of the 2006 earthquake in Bantul and Klaten, Yogyakarta and Central Java. In this preliminary study, it is found that there is transformation in the disability movement in both regions. The author would like to underline that the role of new women with disabilities affected by earthquake can encourage the transformation of the women with disabilities’ movement. These changes can be seen from all sides which before the earthquake, the discourse of women with disabilities are seen as a personal tragedy wher edisability issues are seen as an individual problem. The common approach used to deal with them is a charity activities, training services that are clinically aimed to make them as normal people and have independent lives. After the earthquake, there are a lot of DPO(Disabled People Organization) and association sfor persons with disabilities which accomodate not just those affected by the earthquake, but also all persons with disabilities who had been hidden by their families and socially marginalized. They appear to becoming out and giving a lesson to the people that the differences are common and normalization project is a choice that they have rights to refuse if it is not desired by them. In fact, they also have been able to counter the mainstream women’s movement discourse that their interests are also entitled to be accommodated in universal women’s discourse. This preliminary study which conducted by qualitative research methods withan ethnographic approach is still very early and still continuing with further research.Key words: women with disabilities, earthquake, politics of recognition, DPO (Disabled People Organization), individual and social model of disabilities

Background: Just like diabetes, leprosy also cause painless neuropathic ulcers which process is mediated by Schwann-cell. Biochemical changes on leprosy patients presumed to have role on pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus.  Methods: This study is cross-sectional study aimed to know further about diabetic status on population of people affected by leprosy, as the preliminary study to prove the association between diabetes mellitus and leprosy.  Data, such as diabetic status, type of leprosy, grade of disability, and other variables are collected from 127 people affected by leprosy in Donorojo leprosy recovered village.Result: Result showed that 19.7% are having diabetes mellitus, and other 23.6% are in pre-diabetic condition. This number is higher than prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Central Java (2.09%) and Indonesia (2%).Conclusion : Further research is needed to prove the association between leprosy and diabetic status.  All leprosy patients should be recommended to be routinely screened for diabetes mellitus.

Methods: A pre–post-descriptive study was conducted in 2019 for 3 months at a private hospital in Central Java, Indonesia, to evaluate the implementation of the Regulation on Indonesian Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP), namely, the Prospective Antimicrobial System/Regulasi Antimikroba Sistem Prospektif Indonesia (RASPRO). Outcomes were measured before and after the implementation of the RASPRO in the ward including: 1) intravenous antibiotic defined daily dose (DDD) per 100 patient-days, 2) antibiotic expenditure, and 3) antibiotic expenditure per inpatient. Result: The total antibiotic consumption was expressed in DDD/100 patient-days. For the levofloxacin category, the number increased intensely from 2.38 to 15.29; carbapenem escalated from 0.51 to 2.31, ceftriaxone from 32.10 to 38.03, and ampicillin sulbactam from 1.14 to 1.18. In contrast, cefuroxime significantly reduced from 17.25 to 1.38, cefotaxime decreased from 10.33 to 6.83, gentamicin decreased from 3.18 to 1.91, and amikacin decreased from 2.27 to 2.13. The overall cephalosporin usage decreased from 19.89 to 15.41. The total antibiotic expenditure had a decline of 20.28%, followed by 14.44% reduction on the percentage of antibiotic expenditure per inpatient. Conclusion: Our study describes the 3-month analysis of antimicrobial usage before and after the implementation of the RASPRO by evaluating several parameters. The antibiotic consumption expressed in DDD/100 patient-days for each antibiotic category has demonstrated that there are different impacts that may be debatable and calls for further evaluation. A decrease in the total antibiotic expenditure has also been reported. However, since our study is a preliminary study, it should be continued by further studies that involve longer study duration to observe further impacts of the program.

Tabin Wildlife Resort in Tabin Wildlife Reserve, Lahad Datu, Sabah is a popular tourist spot in Malaysia for being the largest wildlife reserve by mainly focusing on endangered mammals and birds. Thus, in this research, it is proposed to include invertebrates’ information in the current ecotourism activities in Tabin Wildlife Reserve. Implicitly, it could increase a sustainable invertebrates’ conservation. Invertebrates possess large benefits to humankind, namely waste recycling whereby, they cycle the minerals and organic minerals for plants and animals. Thus, this investigation aimed to study the tourists’ perception on including invertebrates’ information in current Tabin Wildlife Resort ecotourism activity. Hence, to collect data from tourists, pre-visit and post-visit questionnaire surveys were adopted as the methodological approach during preliminary entotourism activity. Two different conceptual framework sets (pre-visit and post-visit) were posited in this investigation. The collected data were analysed via Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) software program by adopting Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). SEM analyses revealed that both pre-visit and post-visit surveys have significant variance towards the ecotourism. This implied a good potential in including invertebrates in ecotourism activities especially in Sabah. The findings of this study are important to contribute to the literature of invertebrates’ species conservation awareness in Sabah, since very limited researches are conducted specifically on entotourism field.
