Abstract It is a core content of enterprise performance research evaluating and comparing enterprise performance in dynamic environment. In allusion to this problem, a variety of enterprise performance assessment methods and indexes systems are proposed. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a kind of effective mathematical model which is used for comparing the performance among enterprises or different units inside an enterprise, based on the real-world data. Through comparing the performance, DEA can evaluate the enterprise performance from scale effectiveness and technological effectiveness, and then get the performance optimization goals. Critical Factor Index (CFI) is a new enterprise performance assessment method proposed in recent years. This method, based on the performance perception of business leaders or staffs, evaluates the enterprise performance in different dimensions, and then gets the optimization strategy of enterprise resource allocation to improve integrated enterprise performance. This paper has structured a new evaluation and optimization system for performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which combine properly the DEA and CFI method to evaluate and optimize the SMEs’ performance comprehensively, and has confirm this system with data of 5 Finnish SMEs.

The article investigates the problem of developing motivation for learning of higher education students in the process of linguistic and professional training in the conditions of distance learning. Motivation for learning is interpreted as a system of external and internal motives for learning, the hierarchy and interaction of which is formed under the influence of pedagogical conditions, has a multilevel structure, the formation levels of which can be assessed by a certain criteria and indicators. The specific factors of motivation for learning are characterized, the reasons for the motivation decrease of students of non-language specialities when studying a foreign language are regarded. The necessity of realizing the principles of subjectivity, professionally-oriented technological effectiveness, interactivity, independence (autonomy), communicativeness, consciousness, accessibility, and stages in the linguistic and professional development of students in the conditions of distance learning is proved. The active introduction of distance learning technologies to the education system of Ukraine is emphasized. The distance learning is interpreted as a system of professionally oriented training of students constructed in a certain way in the Internet environment. The effectiveness of distance learning and the specifics of designing individual educational routes of higher education students are substantiated. The main tasks and imperatives of linguistic and professional training of future specialists are determined. The special importance of improving the goals, content, forms and methods of teaching in order to increase motivation for learning of students is emphasized.

The successful performance of construction enterprises as well as their competitiveness are largely determined by the construction technology and management methods used. In this respect two levels referring to a building or structure itself and to a construction enterprise as a whole should be distinguished. The technology of a building or structure embraces its construction system generally characterizing building materials, design solutions and load‐bearing structures and enclosures used in the construction of this particular building. The problem of selecting a general technological criterion for the whole construction enterprise arises. A construction enterprise fulfilling its annual program can simultaneously construct buildings and structures based on various construction systems, i.e. it can use various technologies. Searching for an integrated criterion to describe an enterprise as a whole three main issues including the variation of the applied technologies and their volumes and technological effectiveness should be taken into consideration. In the paper the problem of determining technological effectiveness of construction systems is considered. A method of pairwise comparison developed by T. Saaty was used to address this problem. The calculations were made for all thirteen technologies currently used in Lithuanian construction industry. Based on the suggested approach the weight of technological effectiveness was determined for each of them in the parts of one.

This paper discusses the essentials of social-technical aspects of urban development and transport planning. It describes the role and position of human factor in urban development and transport planning and its interface with technical elements. The paper argues the possibilities of optimization of the correlation between human factors and technical elements using the social-technical insights related turban design and transport planning. The research methodology has been based on qualitative empirical and theoretical approaches using the methods of combination the direct observation and the analysis of documents, and the literature. The working methodology has been based on the concept of organizational science emphasizing the importance of balance between human health, well-being and technological effectiveness.

Research background: An efficient and effectively functioning transport of a city is of great importance both for people who reside within it, as well as companies doing business there. It is an integral part of modern economy and society in the dimension of production and consumption. However, apart from having a positive impact, transport also carries many social costs including congestion, traffic accidents and a negative influence on the natural environment. Consequently, urban transport is an increasingly important area of city management. Purpose of the article: The aim of this study is to assess the technological effectiveness of transport in selected Polish cities. The author created a ranking of cities and identified ways of improve efficiency. Methods: The test procedure used the non-parametric method of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The data for analysis was drawn from the Local Data Bank of the Central Statistical Office defining expenses in the transport section as  well as data on the condition and use of transport infrastructure. Calculations were made using Frontier Analyst Application software dedicated to the DEA method. Performance results were determined using the BCC model. The analysis was con-ducted for 18 cities with district status from 150 to 500 thousands inhabitants. Findings & Value added: The main result is the author’s ranking of transport effectiveness in Polish cities. The analysis showed that urban transport is characterized by a rather low technological effectiveness. Full technological efficiency has been shown by five cities: Białystok, Sosonowiec, Bielsko-Biała, Olsztyn and Rzeszów. An average of the urban transport efficiency reached 51.1%. The lowest effectiveness was only 2.77%. This means that a substantial number of cities do not use optimal inputs. The DEA method enriches the methodology used by scientists to study transport effectiveness.

In this paper the existing in PDM-system business-process of design documentation shop-to-shop routing and its study on technological effectiveness at SRC «Progress» is considered. General approach to the organization of dual paper-electronic process at the enterprise is described. This approach allows quick study of design documentation depending on its type (paper or electronic). The analysis of the existing process with definition of its merits and demerits is carried out. Considering analysis results, proposals on process modernization are developed. The project documentation and work plan were prepared. Software is developed for the modernized process. During the tests of process its working capacity was already confirmed and essential decrease in creation time of objects in PDM-system is revealed. As a result this fact will allow to reduce users’ working time. In this particular work the need for the special software is considered, which will automatically translate the existing information objects in PDM-system from old data model to new data model. The direction for business process digitalization and exception of enterprise employees labor costs on paper documentation movement between departments is defined.

Fertilizers based on complexes of chelated trace elements are the most common and effective agricultural products for the induction of protective-compensatory and other adaptive reactions of plants. The influence of various leaf treatments technologies with chelated micronutrient fertilizers application on the stability of grapes is studied under increasing abiotic and biotic environment factors within the Taman Peninsula (Russia) considering the content of proline, photosynthetic pigments (chlorophylls and carotenoids), total water in the leaves, as well as the development of infectious drying of clusters and leaf spotting reduction due to the treatment. The new optimized scheme application on the chelated micronutrient fertilizers showed a predominantly positive effect on the grape plants adaptation to high-temperature drought and fungal diseases susceptibility, as well as essential increase of the average cluster weight and yield per hectare.
