The 2013 curriculum mandates the importance of collaborative learning designed to educate students to be more productive, creative, and innovative with a high level of affective skills. Collaborative learning can be manifested in the form of a textbook. This research is aimed at developing an accounting textbook in accordance with the mandate of the 2013 curriculum. The selected model is IDI which consists of three main phases: defining, developing and evaluating. The methods chosen are interview, observation, and document review which are analyzed qualitatively. The research was conducted in 4 senior high schools in Malang. The finding shows that at defining phase, there is a need to develop an accounting textbooks using collaborative learning and corresponding to the new accounting standards, namely IFRS. Therefore, at the developmental phase, we construct a prototype book ready to be evaluated. The result of evaluation phase shows that the textbook is valid on the overall aspects including the content, the presentation, the graphic, and the language, with an average percentage of 93.7%.

Anti-intellectualism, the manifestation of disrespect and lack of interest of individuals for intellectual pursuits and critical thinking, has become a constant thread not only in the corporate world but also among students. Its long-term effect will be very excruciating, especially in the Philippine economy. This quantitative correlational research investigated the extent of relationship between the anti-intellectual attitudes and level of self-esteem or the individual’s overall sense of self-worth or personal value of one hundred and ninety-four (194) senior high school students from Fiat Lux Academe-Cavite, Philippines. The researchers made use of the Student’s Anti-Intellectualism Scale and State Self-Esteem Scale to measure the two variables. Analyzed data revealed an average level of attitude of anti-intellectualism and a moderate level of self-esteem among the participants. Furthermore, there is a significant, inverse, and moderate correlation between the two variables (Pearson= -0.50; Spearman Correlation = -0.44). Thus, students with high level of self-esteem have low anti-intellectual attitudes. Conversely, students exhibiting low level of anti-intellectual attitudes tend to have higher self-esteem. The researchers also utilized other statistical techniques such as the t Statistic and linear regression.

The social dimension of environmental issues communicates the worsening of environmental problems as a result of human decisions. This descriptive-comparative study evaluates environmental education in the areas of knowledge, awareness, attitudes, skills, and participation of 323 sampled senior high school students. Data were collected using a researcher-made survey questionnaire and were analyzed using mean, t-test, and ANOVA. The findings of the study showed students’ high level of knowledge, attitude, skills, and participation. When grouped according to grade level and sex, significant differences were found in participation and in awareness when grouped according to grade level and strand. Consistently, a significant difference was found in the attitude when students were compared according to grade level, sex, and strand. Generally, this paper validates how knowledge and attitude affect human behavior towards the environment as mediated by appropriate environmental education. Likewise, it affirms that a positive attitude and concern towards the environment positively affects involvement in any environmental initiatives.

The purpose of this research is produce physics learning material through guided inquiry model that valid, practical, and effective to improve learning outcomes of senior high school students. The development of learning material used the Kemp model and was tested X of SMA Hangtuah 1 Surabaya second semester in academic year 2013/2014 with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data of the study collected through observation, test, and questioner. The results of this research are: 1) Learning material developed has a valid category. 2) Learning material in terms of a practical category in feasibility of lesson plans and the students’ activities in accordance with steps of guided inquiry model. 3) The learning material effectiveness in terms of: (a) the increasing of students learning outcomes seen from exhaustiveness of indicator, individual, and classical; (b) the increasing of students’ comprehensiveness seen from high level of gain; (c) The students’ responds toward material and implementation of learning are very positive. Based on the findings of the study, It’s conclusion that the learning material through guided inquiry model are valid, practical, and effective to increasing students' learning outcomes. It showed through the students' comprehensiveness of the concept, psychomotor skills and character, which are students' discipline and responsible. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model inkuiri terbimbing yang valid, praktis, dan efektif sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model Kemp dan diujicobakan di kelas X SMA Hangtuah 1 Surabaya semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Temuan hasil penelitian, yaitu: 1) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; 2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik dan sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pada model inkuiri terbimbing; dan 3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari: (a) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terlihat dari ketuntasan indikator, individual, dan klasikal; (b) Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa terlihat dari gain dengan kategori tinggi; dan (c) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA Fisika dengan model inkuiri terbimbing, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh pemahaman konsep siswa, keterampilan psikomotor siswa, dan karakter siswa yang meliputi disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa.

The aim of this research is to describe validity flipbook type e-book in terms of the feasibility content, language, and display; and describe the practicality of an e-book in terms of an implementation observation. The method used in this study is a modified research and development method and was carried out at the Postgraduate Science Education, the State University of Surabaya in February 2020 - August 2021. The data collection technique was carried out using the validation method and the implementation observation method. The assessment instrument uses a validation sheet and an implementation observation sheet. The validity of the flipbook type e-book is reviewed from the feasibility of the content, the feasibility of the language, and the feasibility of the display. The validity of the flipbook-type e-book was assessed by three validators which included two biology lecturers and one biology teacher. For practicality, use the implementation observation sheet in terms of the use of flipbooks during the learning process. The observation sheet contains statements that will be filled out by four observers. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively. The developed e-book was tested on 20 students of class X Senior High School students in August 2021. The validation results of the flipbook type e-book by three validators obtained an average score of 3.84 with a very valid category. Based on practicality in terms of implementation, flipbooks get an average percentage of 87.2%. Thus, the flipbook-type e-book on the identification of Basidiomycota fungi is declared valid and practical.

This study aims to improve the ability of high-level thinking by developing learning models based on problems in senior high school students. The type study is research development. The subject of dissemination consists in 3 distric/city in North Sumatera, namely: SMK Negeri 6 Medan, MAN Deli Serdang Distric and SMA Yapim Taruna Langkat Distric, SMA YPK Medan City. Instrument of Collecting data used are observation guidelines, questionnaires, interview guides, students mathematics text books for 11th grade in Senior high school, Teacher’s guide book, instrument of pre-test and post-test. Development of model is adopted from Thiagarajan’s model and Semmel & Semmel’s model. This study has compiled teaching materials in the form of textbooks for students’ and teacher’s guide book that includes the structured steps of solving mathematical problems based on problem solving which can construct high-level thinking. Results of dissemination showed a significant improvement of students’ problem solving ability in three districts/cities in North Sumatra at four schools.

The purpose of this study was to develop evaluation tools in the form of learning about science literacy based biology subjects for class X semester 1. The type of this research is research and development, with a preparatory study design, prototype, one to one, small group and field tests. Small scale pilot study subjects were 20 students of SMAN 1 Bukit Sundi, and wide-scale trials were 64 students of SMAN 1 Gunung Talang. Product-based research is a matter of scientific literacy that includes three indicators of votes with four component aspects that owned the aspect of the context, content, processes and attitudes. The results of scientific literacy progression based this matter indicates that the matter developed valid, reliable and high level of practicality. This is demonstrated by the average validity showed extremely valid criteria. The effectivity of instruments is indicated by the student's ability to answer questions on indicators 2 and 3 which is a matter that demands high reasoning. Practicality instruments indicated by the positive response by teachers and students.

<p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstract:</strong> The purposes of this research were develop to understanding about correlation between learning habits, learning achievements on kinematics. The research unitized correlational method. The population of research were all senior high school  students of XI class of science majors in Tanjungpinang city and Metro city. This research was conducted in six senior high schools in Tanjungpinang and seven senior high schools in Metro. This research used questionnaire of learning habits and test questions of kinematics as instruments.</p><p class="AbstractEnglish">The result showed that students of XI class of science majors in Tanjungpinang and Metro had good learning habits. The average percentage of learning habits score of students from Tanjungpinang and Metro each was 70,34% and 71,32%. It showed that the learning achievements about kinematic of students from Tanjungpinang was very low and was fair for students from Metro. The average percentage of learning achivements about kinematic of students from Tanjungpinang and Metro each was 43,38% and 56,12%. This research also showed that there was correlation between learning habits and learning achievements, with level significant was 0,05. The coefficient of correlation between learning habits and achivements in Tanjungpinang and Metro each was 0,151 and 0,119. And the coefficient of correlation overall was 0,150.</p><p class="KeywordsEngish"> </p><p class="AbstrakIndonesia"><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kebiasaan belajar, prestasi belajar fisika siswa pada bidang kinematika. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif korelasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA kelas XI IPA yang ada di kota Tanjungpinang dan kota Metro. Penelitian dilaksanakan di 6 SMA di kota Tanjungpinang dan di 7 SMA di kota Metro. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner kebiasaan belajar dan soal tes tentang kinematika. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif.</p><p class="AbstrakIndonesia">Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebiasaan belajar siswa kelas XI IPA, baik di kota Tanjungpinang maupun kota Metro, rata-rata tergolong baik. Rata-rata persentase skor kebiasaan belajar responden dari kota Tanjungpinang dan kota Metro masing-masing adalah sebesar 70,34% dan 71,32%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPA di kota Tanjungpinang tergolong rendah, sedangkan prestasi belajar siswa di kota Metro tergolong cukup. Rata-rata persentase skor prestasi belajar responden dari kota Tanjungpinang dan kota Metro masing-masing adalah sebesar 43,38% dan 56,12%. Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kebiasaan belajar dan prestasi belajar fisika dengan level signifikan 0,05. Koefisien korelasi antara kebiasaan belajar dan prestasi belajar di kota Tanjungpinang dan kota Metro masing-masing adalah 0,151 dan 0,119. Sedangkan koefisien korelasi secara keseluruhan adalah 0,150.</p>

The study deals with the developing interactive media for senior high school students. The objective of this study is to find out how to develop interactive media for better speaking skill of senior high school students. The research was conducted by using Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research was 2016/2017 students of the eleventh grade of Class XI IPA4 in SMAN 1 Batang Kuis. The number of the students was 30 students. The data of this study was collected by using need analysis questionnaire and experts’ judgment. Need analysis questionnaire was calculated by using percentage to get the information of students’ need before developing interactive media. Experts’ judgment was calculated by using likert data, mean and criteria interval of expert judgment to know the validity of interactive media which has been developed. After the data analyzed, it was found that the experts’ judgment result was 4.80 which had a very good criteria interval. The result of the research find that interactive media is a very good to be used in teaching speaking skill.
