The monograph contains a number of new author's theoretical and methodological developments based on the methods of mathematical information theory. It can be useful for students, graduate students and researchers in the analysis of data and the construction of models of economic, sociological and psychometric processes. It can be used as a textbook in the study of the relevant sections of the course "Mathematics", "modeling And data processing", "Econometrics" and others.

The article discusses the methodological difficulties associated with the spread of statistical methods of data processing in psychological works. In particular, there is a simplification of the understanding of statistics by researchers, which increasingly leads to the adoption of the hypothesis of the presence of the effect, in a situation where it is not. There is a brief review of publications and examples where this issue is the subject of critical analysis. Presented a research which showed that in the repetition of experiments published in reputable journals, the significance accepted in the scientific community was observed only in 39% of the works — this effect was called the “publication shift”. The article discusses ways to solve this problem, in particular, meta-analysis, through which it is possible to confirm the results of a series of experiments relating to one problem — subject to the availability of information about the design and openness of raw data. An understanding of the probabilistic nature of statistical results must be mandatory for the evaluation of studies

The existence of COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on residents’ travel, including in Sonosewu Hamlet, Bantul Regency, Indonesia because the government has implemented recommendation to reduce residents’ mobility in order to accelerate the handling of COVID-19. This research is interesting because there was no research that specifically examines the characteristics of residents’ travel during COVID-19 pandemic in the suburbs of Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study was to identify the travel characteristics of the residents of Sonosewu during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data collection was carried out through questionnaire surveys. The data processing and analysis were carried out by using descriptive statistical methods. Based on the results obtained from 328 respondents, it is known that the travel frequency from November 30 to December 6, 2020, tended to be high with 6 to 7 trips a week. The purpose of travel was mostly to work and shopping, and the main travel destinations are Bantul Regency and Yogyakarta City. The result of this research will be useful for the development of knowledge, especially in the field of urban geography and can be taken into consideration by the government for the development of suburban areas.

Aim. To study the effect of different concentrations of ethylene glycol and glycerin in equilibration and vitrifi cation solutions on 1) the viability and further development of frozen-thawed bovine ovarian cumulus-oocyte complexes (COCs), cryopreserved by vitrifi cation method, 2) on the effectiveness of inseminating mature oocytes, obtained from them, and 3) on the formation of embryos. Methods. Biotechnological, cryobiological, morphological, cytogenetic, and statistical methods, as well as methods of statistical data processing were used in the research. Results. The results of experimental studies on the effect of different concentrations of ethylene glycol and glycerin in the equilibration solution during cryopreservation of bovine ovarian COCs (n = 502) on their viability and further development after freezing-thawing are presented. We also show the results of the comparative analysis of cryoresistant properties of bovine ovarian COCs (n = 560) using different concentrations of ethylene glycol and glycerin, as cryoprotectants, in the vitrifi cation solution in terms of the viability and maturation of the oocytes, which originated from these COCs, up to metaphase II of meiosis. A comparative analysis of the application of ethylene glycol and glycerol in differ- ent concentrations for the equilibration and vitrifi cation solutions in cryopreserving bovine ovarian COCs (n = 220) demonstrated a relationship between the level of concentration of these cryoprotectants and the number of embryos after in vitro insemination of mature gametes, obtained from these frozen-thawed COCs. Conclusions. It was found that the use of 25 % ethylene glycol and 5 % glycerin in the equilibration solution and 10 % ethylene glycol and 40 % glycerin in the vitrifi cation solution during cryopreservation of bovine ovarian COCs ensures lower toxicity of these solutions and promotes more effi cient (up to 14.3 %) formation and development of embryos after in vitro insemina- tion of mature gametes, obtained from these COCs

In some institutions of continuous education in the Republic of Moldova there is no course in Applied Statistics for Teacher taught. Because of this, the graduates encounter some difficulties in processing the experimental data. Through this article, the authors propose suggestions and models for data processing for additional qualification / requalification theses.

The content and features of social insurance are considered in the work, the description of methods of the quantitative analysis of its modern activity is given, the methods of the qualitative analysis of prospects of its development are investigated. Purpose. Research of theoretical and methodological aspects of the analysis of social insurance in Ukraine, analysis of the environment and results of social insurance and development of directions of improvement of analytical maintenance of social insurance in Ukraine in modern conditions. Method (methodology). The solution of the set tasks is carried out by means of methods of an estimation and the analysis of risks and efficiency of financing, an estimation of financial and economic indicators of activity, statistical methods. Results. The project of use of tools of improvement of modern activity of pension fund as directions of studying of analytical maintenance of social insurance in Ukraine is offered. The directions of use of software means of data processing on research of social insurance in Ukraine are developed. The effectiveness of the proposed measures is substantiated.
