This paper gives a general survey on Crop Field Smart Irrigation Mechanization utilizing web from claiming things. The paper covers details regarding the basics of Internet of Things and also the importance of Agriculture in a country like India. Internet of Things is fundamentally those intercontinental for everyone electronic units through Internet. By this interconnection the devices work in a synchronous way to achieve common goals. It is an evolving technology in the areas of trade, industry, medical and many applications. Many applications of IoT make use of sensors for detecting and activating gadgets helping in sharing of data. Agriculture is one such trade on which the entire nation is dependent. We in brief review the various techniques which will allow the farmers to grow more of their crops and reduce wastage of water by using sensors and automation of the irrigation system. The irrigation of crop fields depends on the data collected by the soil moisture sensors. The review can also be extended by understanding the way light intensity is controlled in greenhouses and also that the farmers can be able to monitor the field conditions from anywhere. This system is very useful in areas with scarcity of water. This sys is 92% more efficient than the conventional approach.

Internet of Things (IoT) is an advanced technology for monitoring and controlling device anywhere in the world. It can connect devices with living things. Agriculture is one of the major sectors which contribute a lot to the financial of India and to get quality product, proper irrigation has to be performed, to reduce man power using modern technology of internet of things IoT in today’s life. Soil moisture is an integral part of plant life, which directly affects crop growth and yield, as well as irrigation scheduling. This system will be a substitute to traditional farming method. We will develop such a system that will help a farmer to know his field status in his home or he may be residing in any part of the world. It proposes an automatic irrigation system for the agricultural lands. Currently the automation is one of the important roles in the human life. It is not only provides comfort but also efficiency and time saving. So here it is also designs a smart irrigation technology by using raspberry pi and connecting to the weather API. Raspberry-pi is the main heart of the whole system. An automated irrigation system was developed to optimize water use for agricultural crops. Automation allows us to control appliances automatically. The objectives of this to control the water motor automatically, To monitor the soil, water level using weather API.A robotized irrigation system framework might have been created should streamline water utilize to agriculture crops. Mechanization permits us with control appliances naturally. Those targets for this on control those water motor naturally monitor the soil, water level utilizing weather API In previously we are using the soil moisture control by using some set of sensors by this water is pumping continuously even though it is rainy.so by this over flow of the water is taken place to overcome this problem we are using the cloud monitoring system based on the weather conditions.

In the traditional irrigation process, a huge amount of water consumption is required which leads to water wastage. To reduce the wasting of water for this tedious task, an intelligent irrigation system is urgently needed. The era of machine learning (ML) and the Internet of Things (IoT) brings it is a great advantage of building an intelligent system that performs this task automatically with minimal human effort. In this study, an IoT enabled ML-trained recommendation system is proposed for efficient water usage with the nominal intervention of farmers. IoT devices are deployed in the crop field to precisely collect the ground and environmental details. The gathered data are forwarded and stored in a cloud-based server, which applies ML approaches to analyze data and suggest irrigation to the farmer. To make the system robust and adaptive, an inbuilt feedback mechanism is added to this recommendation system. The experimentation, reveals that the proposed system performs quite well on our own collected dataset and National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur crop dataset.

Internet of things IOT is a network of systems connected within the systems, systems or devices like smart phones, sensors, computer. Internet of things connects all the surrounding devices to internet that is internet of things. Smart devices is an electronic device that can take logical and intelligent decisions on its own. Sensor are small chip that reacts to the sensed activities. Transfer of data is also done in IOT the data which is taken from sensors is sent through cloud database and again can be retreated for the necessary response. The medium of both smart device and database is internet. In this project main motto is to record the changes and information of agriculture field. This makes the easy way to cultivate the field in protective shield. Here we get the details of soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and periodic information of water supply to field. In agriculture water is the main source to a good healthy field. This project helps us to make use of water in efficiently in agriculture fields. Also farmer ids safe from many incoming dangers like thunder strike, snake bite and so on. Introducing technology to farmer to operate his field through his phone. This IOT project helps the farmer to collect the information about water level, soil moisture, humidity, soil fertility, and monitoring of crop allows to find weed, pest detection, animal entry into field, and growth of crop. Arduino is an open and free source hardware model used to dump software. It reads input signals of sensors and in response the output activation of things like motor, light. Sensors which senses the variation in different mediums of atmosphere inputs analogue to digital outputs. Think speak is open source cloud can store and retrieve data of sensors by local area network.

This paper proposes a comparison of three machine learning algorithms for a better intelligent irrigation system based on internet of things (IoT) for differents products. This work's major contribution is to specify the most accurate algorithm among the three machine learning algorithms (k-nearest neighbors (KNN), support vector machine (SVM), artificial neural network (ANN)). This is achieved by collecting irrigation data of a specific products and split it into training data and test data then compare the accuracy of the three algorithms. To evaluate the performance of our algorithm we built a system of IoT devices. The temperature and humidity sensors are installed in the field interact with the Arduino microcontroller. The Arduino is connected to Raspberry Pi3, which holds the machine learning algorithm. It turned out to be ANN algorithm is the most accurate for such system of irrigation. The ANN algorithm is the best choice for an intelligent system to minimize water loss for some products.

irrigation is a very important factor and as a support that will affect agricultural products. The increase in managing agriculture is also very much needed in the era that has entered the current industrial era 4.0. Water becomes a basic resource to support agricultural activities, if there is no water, the activity will not work. In general, Rice field irrigation runs using conventional methods which are carried out from sources such as rivers. The lack of supervision of the irrigation system has made the performance of the irrigation system not optimal. With this, an irrigation canal regulator is needed and along with these problems, a prototype for IoT based Rice Field Irrigation System is made. This prototype has several functions, namely as a regulator of opening and closing irrigation canals by referring to the condition of water level and soil moisture, as well as monitoring the temperature and humidity conditions of the air around the rice fields. This prototype uses a telegram bot as an internet-of-things media control.

Water is an important aspect in aspects of life. In agriculture it is a major component of photosynthesis and transportation of nutrients from the soil to plants. Usually farmers provide water twice a day on a regular basis, but at certain times require excess water to maintain soil moisture. In chili plants, humidity needs around 60% to 80% so that plants can grow to the maximum. Internet of things (IoT) technology can help farmers to support the water needs that are in the soil. With IoT technology it can also help in the irrigation process by releasing or managing pumps automatically. The IoT device used to make this system is equipped with NodeMCU, a humidity sensor and a mobile based application as an IoT device control software. The Internet of Things (IoT) system can help the irrigation system in chilli plants to ensure the safety of the soil is raised 60% to 80%.
