The terminal display system is a basic component of digitized tank integrated simulator. The combination of VAPS platform which is installed on PCs with VC++6.0 development environment is the basis of simulation system. And work in practice that can not only reduce design costs but also shorten design cycles. First, the structure, design concepts and realization methods of this simulation system are introduced. The system architecture diagram and the development process are given later. The research of several key issues is focused on, including the display of simulation interface as well as external drivers, and finally the development of the terminal display system for the tank integrated simulator is achieved so that met the demands for training purpose.

Abstract A key objective of the MEDSReM-2 study is to promote medication taking decisions and improve adherence to hypertensive medications for older adults. New functionalities include enhanced decision-support algorithms for missed medications, automated entry of blood pressure measurements, improved data visualizations, and an easy-to-use online web portal. In support of these enhancements, the User Testing subteam is tasked with providing ongoing evaluation and feedback on the usability of early design concepts, prototypes, beta software, wireless blood pressure monitors, and instructional materials. The overall project comprises multiple working teams, whose efforts must be coordinated. We will describe the challenges of working with these interdisciplinary teams and the usability evaluation methods used to support the needs of each team in creating the enhanced MEDSReM-2 system that is easy-to-use and effective in helping older adults improve their hypertension medication adherence. These processes inform the research and design efforts of other technology interventions.

Aiming at the deficiencies of the commonly used AMT and DSG structure in the electric vehicles’ transmission, a kind of three-speed automatic transmission structured by the planetary gear trains is designed. It uses the centrifugal components to realize the gear shifting, while using the electromagnetic brake and the motor reversal to realize the reversing. Based on the design concepts proposed, we did some matching calculations on the transmission system of a three-wheel pure electric vehicle, and finally made the optimization design on the driving motor’s selection and transmission parameters. The designed electric vehicle’s centrifugal automatic transmission has the characteristics of simple structure, small size and shifting smoothness, which can not only meet the requirements of the automobile power, but also improve the efficiency of the driving motor.

With the introduction of field-emission sources and “immersion-type” objective lenses, the resolution obtainable with modern scanning electron microscopes is approaching that obtainable in STEM and TEM-but only with specific types of specimens. Bulk specimens still suffer from the restrictions imposed by internal scattering and the need to be conducting. Advances in coating techniques have largely overcome these problems but for a sizeable body of specimens, the restrictions imposed by coating are unacceptable.For such specimens, low voltage operation, with its low beam penetration and freedom from charging artifacts, is the method of choice.Unfortunately the technical dificulties in producing an electron beam sufficiently small and of sufficient intensity are considerably greater at low beam energies — so much so that a radical reevaluation of convential design concepts is needed.The probe diameter is usually given by

This study examines the assumptions underlying the scoring system of the Arizona Articulation Proficiency Scale: Revised. Twenty-one children between the ages of four years two months and six years 11 months were administered the Arizona Articulation Proficiency Scale: Revised and the Screening Deep Test of Articulation. The subjects' performance on the two tests was compared for the phones: [s], [l], [r], [t∫], [θ], [∫], [k], [f], and [t]. Results suggested that 1) the production of most sounds in only two contexts does not necessarily reflect the accuracy of production of those sounds in other contexts, and 2) for the sounds tested, the weightings assigned on the basis of their frequency of occurrence rather than the frequency with which they were misarticulated overestimated the extent of many articulation errors.
