The composition, optical characteristics, molar absorption coefficients and equilibrium constants of the reactions of formation of the ML and ML2 complexes of both reagents with cadmium(II) ions were determined by graphical analysis and numerical interpretation of the absorbance-pH curves by the modified SQUAD-G program. Optimal conditions were proposed for the spectrophotometric determination of Cd in 10% v/v ethanol medium in the presence of 0.1% w/v Triton X-100 or 1% w/v Brij 35. BrPADAP and ClPADAP are the most sensitive spectrophotometric reagents for the determination of cadmium(II) ions (ε = 1.28-1.44 . 105 mmol-1 cm2 at 560 nm and pH 8.0-9.5) with a high colour contrast in the reaction (Δλmax ~117 nm) and a selectivity similar to that of other N-heterocyclic azodyes (PAR, PAN, etc.).

The optical and acid-base characteristics of BrPADAP and ClPADAP were studied in mixed water-ethanol and water-DMF media and in 10% ethanol medium in the presence of cationic, anionic and nonionic tensides. The composition, optical characteristics, molar absorption coefficients and equilibrium constants of the ML and ML2 complexes with zinc(II) ions were found by graphical analysis and numerical interpretation of the absorbance curves by the modified SQUAD-G program. Optimal conditions were found for the spectrophotometric determination of Zn(II) in the presence of 0.1% Triton X-100 or 1% Brij 35 in alkaline media with pH = 6.5-10. BrPADAP and ClPADAP are the most sensitive reagents (ε = 1.3-1.6 . 105 mmol-1 cm2 at 557 and 560 nm, respectively) for the determination of zinc with high colour contrast of the reaction (Δλ = 104 nm) and selectivity similar to that for the other N-heterocyclic azodyes (PAN, PAR, etc.).

According to the indicator diagram of damper, the indicator diagram plumpness was proposed as a quantitative index, and its mathematical relationships with the sprung mass acceleration, suspension dynamic travel and tire dynamic load were built. Moreover, the influence of the total area on suspension characteristics was analyzed in time domain and frequency domain. The results show that, the increase of the indicator diagram plumpness can effectively restrain the variation of suspension dynamic travel and tire dynamic load, meanwhile, the body acceleration will be enlarged. Excessive indicator diagram plumpness also affects the dynamic tire load distribution in frequency domain, and it will decrease the driving security. Therefore, it should be reasonably selected from the performance indicators, which is based on the requirement of vehicle demand in the design process.

Abstract Hydropsyche fryeri belongs to the Trichopteridae family and builds nests in clean and unpolluted streams using stones. It also can be used as an indicator of water quality. Here, we describe the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of Hydropsyche fryeri. The mitochondrial genome is 15,676 bp long and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNAs, 2 rRNAs and an AT-rich control region. Phylogenetic tree analysis shows that Hydropsyche fryeri is more closely related to the family Hydroptera than other Trichoptera.

Abstract For diagnosis and predictive maintenance of mechatronic systems, monitoring of bearings is essential. An important building block for this is the determination of the bearing friction condition. This paper deals with the possibility of monitoring different journal bearing friction states, such as mixed and fluid friction, and examines a new approach to distinguish between different friction intensities under several speed and load combinations based on feature extraction and feature selection methods applied on acoustic emission (AE) signals. The aim of this work is to identify separation effective features of AE signals to subsequently classify the journal bearing friction states. Furthermore, the acquired features give information about the mixed friction intensity, which is significant for remaining useful lifetime (RUL) prediction. Time domain features as well as features in the frequency domain have been investigated in this work. To increase the sensitivity of the extracted features the AE signals were transformed to the frequency-time-domain using continuous wavelet transform (CWT). Significant frequency bands are determined to separate different friction states more effective. A support vector machine (SVM) is used to classify the signals into three different friction classes. In the end the idea for an RUL prediction method by using the already determined information is given and explained.
