An Online Learning Method for Shadow Detection

The COVID 19 pandemic also has an impact on the education and training aspects of the State Civil Apparatus. MOT training in Puslatbang PKASN LAN, which was originally carried out by blended learning in 2019, has been changed to fully online learning in 2020, as an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID 19 virus. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there are differences on the learning outcomes between MOT participants in 2019, which attended by 30 people, and MOT participants in 2020, which attended by 25 people. Data processing and analysis techniques in this study using quantitative methods. The statistical test used is the non-parametric statistical test using the Mann Whitney U test. The sampling technique used was total sampling, where all members of the population were used as samples. The results revealed that there was no difference in the learning outcomes of MOT participants between those using the blended learning method and those using the fully online learning method. Based on this information, fully online learning is very possible to be applied. Nevertheless, the Training Institution must pay attention to the availability of facilities and infrastructure that support the learning process electronically. Also, the limited interaction between lecturers and participants when doing online learning should be balanced with the ability of lecturers to convey material with technology-based learning techniques. In this case, the roles of all parties will determine the optimal achievement of the fully online learning process.

This research was aimed to determine the effectiveness of online instructional material model for EFS courses developed through Moodle for Secretarial Academy (ASTRI) of Budi Luhur students when compared to the existing EFS instructional material. This qualitative research conducted in the second semester of 2007/2008 academic year. Meanwhile the data sources used in this study were respondents consisting of 48 ASTRI Budi Luhur students as well as documents consisting of observation guidelines and post test results. The students were divided into 2 classes, namely BA and BB classes. BA class is treated as an experimental class while BB class is treated as a control class. This experiment was carried out for 7 times fully online learning with synchronous learning method. In analyzing the data collected, the researchers used T-Test to find out the effectiveness of EFS instructional material through Moodle. Based on the results of the post test conducted, EFS instructional material through Moodle had been proven to be able to improve four english skills which include listening, reading, speaking and writing to the students of ASTRI Budi Luhur Jakarta.

Social problems are problems that are deeply rooted in every country, including Indonesia. This problem penetrates into all fields, one of which is education. Plus the COVID-19 pandemic situation has also brought up many new problems in the world of education. The learning that was applied during this pandemic made a new learning transformation from what was originally offline to online. 80% of all parents of SDN Nguling I, II and III state that their children have difficulty understanding the material when learning online. Online School Assistance through SIPUNG is a concrete solution to improve the quality and understanding of student learning during online learning. By using the service learning method, it is proven to be able to improve the quality and understanding of students, students understand the importance of learning and parents are increasingly aware of the importance of providing the best assistance in order to achieve the success of children's education.

ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah membawa perubahan yang sangat besar bagi dunia pendidikan. Bentuk perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang diterapkan di dunia pendidikan adalah metode pembelajaran online atau lebih dikenal dengan sebutan e-Learning yang membantu sebuah proses pembelajaran. Berawal dari adanya masalah pada motode pembelajaran dan minat belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah logika Matematika pada Fakultas Teknik UNIS Tangerang, maka dikembangkan suatu pembelajaran online (e-learning) dengan metode object oriented berbasis web  mengunakan PHP dan MySQL. Dengan model pembelajaran online berbasis web ini dapat meningkatkan proses pembelajaran mahasiswa pada mata kuliah logika Matematika dan pembelajaran online memudakan Dosen memberikan materi pembelajaran serta memberikan tugas kepada para mahasiswa dan dosen pun bisa meng-upload materi dan tugas dimana saja dan kapan saja. Kata kunci : e-learning, Pembelajaran, Logika Matematika ABSTRAK The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has brought enormous changes to the world of education. The form of development of information and communication technology that is applied in the world of education is an online learning method or better known as e-Learning that helps a learning process. Starting with a problem in learning methods and student interest in mathematics logic courses at the Faculty of Engineering UNIS Tangerang, an online learning (e-learning) method was developed using web-based object oriented methods using PHP and MySQL. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed social life, including learning methods. The existence of restrictions on these activities makes higher education institutions carry out online learning. The research objective was to determine the implementation of online learning at the Rajekwesi Bojonegoro station by using a descriptive research design with a sample of students from Stikes Rajekwesi Bojonegoro who were taking online learning taken by using accidental sampling technique totaling 179 respondents. Data obtained by questionnaires distributed online using google form format. And presented as a percentage. The results of research media / online learning applications mostly use the google classroom application, with a total of 175 respondents (97.8%). The most interesting online learning method is discussion forums with a total of 92 respondents (51.4%), online learning is in accordance with the learning needs of students were 165 respondents (92.2%). It was difficult for students to receive learning materials from 151 respondents (84.4%). Obstacles difficult signal with a total of 102 respondents (57%), and do not have facilities at home for online learning, namely 115 respondents (64.5%). The conclusion of the implementation of online learning there are obstacles both from students, lecturers and the system used, especially in this case the network or internet stability and quotas.
