The article presents the analysis of methodological issues and problems of the correlation between theory and reality in basic courses taught at the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The paper provides the methodological approaches that can be used in conducting lectures and seminars, based on many years of experience; analyzes basic methods and forms that help convince students of the practical usefulness of the disciplines studied. The authors also offer methodological solutions that allow to explain to the students the ultimate goal of studying theoretical courses and encourage their involvement and interest in the learning process.

   The objective of the study was to investigate the extent to which some of the TQM standards were applied in the faculties of Khartoum State University and Sudan International Private University from the point of view of the faculty and the effect of the variables (age, gender, academic qualifications, years of experience, On the answers of the sample, and used the descriptive statistical method. The study was carried out with the following results: The application of TQM in some of the faculties of Khartoum State University and Sudan University of the World (3.46) with a total average of (3.46 of 5) with (large) estimates. According to the fields, the field of quality requirements in education has a general average of (3.84) with a large estimate; followed by the follow- Thirdly, the field of human resources development was average (3.37), and lastly, Decision-making and community service an average of (3.03), all of which estimates (medium). The results of the study showed that there are no differences in the application of some TQM standards in Sudanese higher education institutions due to variables (years of experience, age, scientific qualification and gender). In light of the results of the study, a number of recommendations were made to increase awareness and activate the implementation of some of the TQM standards in Khartoum State University Colleges, Sudan Private International University and all Sudanese higher education institutions. And attention to the educational environment within the university and methods of communication and communication. And to spread the culture of quality to managers and deans first to convince them of the importance of change and improve the performance and the importance of quality standards in institutions of public and private higher education as well as higher institutes

Tom Angleberger and Cece Bell are the unique couple behind numerous memorable books for children. The couple creates joyful, relatable characters and settings that invite children to return to their books again and again. In addition to their collaborative projects, the couple also supports each other in their independent pursuits, which are also hugely successful. Their insights and experiences on collaborating and creating books for children draw from their years of experience, and success, honing their craft together.Cece Bell is the author and illustrator of a diverse range of books, including Newbery Honor–winning autobiography El Deafo (2014), Geisel Honor–winning Rabbit and Robot: The Sleepover (2014), Rabbit and Robot and Ribbit (2017), I Yam a Donkey (2016), Bee-Wigged (2017), Itty Bitty (2009), and the Sock Monkey series. She has also created books with her husband, Tom, including Crankee Doodle (2013) and the Inspector Flytrap series. She earned her graduate degree in illustration and design at Kent State University and became a full-time author and illustrator after many years of working as a freelance illustrator and designer.

Background: This study determines the relationship between resilience, depression, stress and anxiety among professional nurses who are frontline workers.Methodology: The study was conducted among nurses working in Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Ikeja, Lagos State. The Connor-Davidson Resilience scale and Depression, Anxiety and Stress questionnaire administered to 360 nurses. Simple frequency, mean, standard deviation and Pearson correlation were used for the analysis.Results: The majority (90%) of the respondents was female and about two thirds of them were married. Overall summarized scores for the level of anxiety, depression and stress were 46.6%, 38.5% and 37.7% respectively. Resilience had statistically significant positive correlation with years of experience (r=0.160, p=0.002); negatively significant with stress (r = -0.281, p< 0.001) and negatively significant with anxiety (r = -0.210, p < 0.001). Depression was negatively significant with years of experience (r = - 0.132, p = 0.013) while stress was positively significant with depression (r = 0.764, p< 0.001) and anxiety (r = 0.751, p < 0.001).Conclusion: There is a need to organize programmes that will improve the resilience of professional nurses should be organized to reduce the effects of stress, anxiety and depression among nurses. A new field emission scanning transmission electron microscope has been constructed for the NSF HREM facility at Arizona State University. The microscope is to be used for studies of surfaces, and incorporates several surface-related features, including provision for analysis of secondary and Auger electrons; these electrons are collected through the objective lens from either side of the sample, using the parallelizing action of the magnetic field. This collimates all the low energy electrons, which spiral in the high magnetic field. Given an initial field Bi∼1T, and a final (parallelizing) field Bf∼0.01T, all electrons emerge into a cone of semi-angle θf≤6°. The main practical problem in the way of using this well collimated beam of low energy (0-2keV) electrons is that it is travelling along the path of the (100keV) probing electron beam. To collect and analyze them, they must be deflected off the beam path with minimal effect on the probe position.

Bovine respiratory diseases cause serious economic loses and present diagnostic difficulties due to the variety of etiologic agents, predisposing conditions, parasites, viruses, bacteria and mycoplasma, and may be multiple or complicated. Several agents which have been isolated from the abnormal lungs are still the subject of controversy and uncertainty. These include adenoviruses, rhinoviruses, syncytial viruses, herpesviruses, picornaviruses, mycoplasma, chlamydiae and Haemophilus somnus.Previously, we have studied four typical cases of bovine pneumonia obtained from the Michigan State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory to elucidate this complex syndrome by electron microscopy. More recently, additional cases examined reveal electron opaque immune deposits which were demonstrable on the alveolar capillary walls, laminae of alveolar capillaries, subenthothelium and interstitium in four out of 10 cases. In other tissue collected, unlike other previous studies, bacterial organisms have been found in association with acute suppurative bronchopneumonia.

The development of a scanning electron microscope (SEM) suitable for instructional purposes has created a large number of outreach opportunities for the Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) Department at Iowa State University. Several collaborative efforts are presently underway with local schools and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) at ISU to bring SEM technology into the classroom in a near live-time, interactive manner. The SEM laboratory is shown in Figure 1.Interactions between the laboratory and the classroom use inexpensive digital cameras and shareware called CU-SeeMe, Figure 2. Developed by Cornell University and available over the internet, CUSeeMe provides inexpensive video conferencing capabilities. The software allows video and audio signals from Quikcam™ cameras to be sent and received between computers. A reflector site has been established in the MSE department that allows eight different computers to be interconnected simultaneously. This arrangement allows us to demonstrate SEM principles in the classroom. An Apple Macintosh has been configured to allow the SEM image to be seen using CU-SeeMe.
