Dual supply voltage scheme provides very effective solution to cut down power consumption in digital integrated circuits design, where level converting flip–flops (LCFF) are the key component circuits. In this paper, a new general structure and design method for dual-edge triggered LCFF based on BiCMOS is proposed, according to that PNP-PNP-DELCFF and NPN-NPN-DELCFF are designed. The experiments carried out by Hspice using TSMC 180 nm show proposed circuits have correct logic functions. Compared to counterparts, proposed PNP-PNP-DELCFF gains improvements of 6.7%, 96.0%, 86.0% and 28.5% in D-Q Delay, 50.0%, 16.0%, 12.6% and 10.8% in product of delay and power (PDP), respectively. NPN-NPN-DELCFF gains improvements of 5.1%, 93.0%, 83.2% and 26.5% in D-Q Delay, 39.7%, 7.9%, 5.0% and 3.4% in PDP, respectively. Furthermore, proposed circuits have better drive ability.

This paper proposes a new method that it uses the neural network to construct the solution of the Hamiltion-Jacobi inequality (HJ), and it carries on the optimization of the neural network weight using the genetic algorithm. This method causes the Lyapunov function to satisfy the HJ, avoides solving the HJ parital differential inequality, and overcomes the difficulty which the HJ parital differential inequality analysis. Beside this, it proposes a design method of a nonlinear state feedback L2-gain disturbance rejection controller based on HJ, and introduces general structure of L2-gain disturbance rejection controller in the form of neural network. The simulation demonstrates the design of controller is feasible and the closed-loop system ensures a finite gain between the disturbance and the output.

In order to make reconstruction of re-configurable manufacturing system (RCMS) more efficient and fast, a new design method for control structure and system layout is put forward. First, a holon control structure, such as centralized-control, hierarchical control, non-strictly hierarchical control, and distributed control, is introduced. Each function module of the control structure not only has relative independent character and also cooperation with other control structure. It may constitute the required structural according to the market demand at any time to realize re-configurable control goals. At last, the key technology and the implementation method involved in layout design of equipment and system layer are discussed.

Aiming at there are multifarious small shaft and sleeve subassemblies, in which shape and quantity of parts are different, the adaptable design concept was applied to the design of auto assembly machine product platform for small shaft and sleeve subassemblies. According to the general structure design and the module partition for the product platform, a parameterized design method that the number of stations is the main parameter was proposed. And the parameterized product platform, which can be suitable for the automatic assembling of multifarious small shaft and sleeve subassemblies and can be upgraded, was founded. Thus, the universality of the product platform is improved, and the product design cycle is shortened.

For the demand of coal mine flood accident emergency rescue, in this paper, a mine-used underwater explosion-proof robot is presented and the composition structure and design method of the robot are discussed in detail. This device combines mechanical design, underwater power plant, intelligent control, energy supply of mobile device and mine explosion-proof technology. It can cruise underwater with the changeable depth, orientation and speed. It can move flexibly and can collect underwater and overwater images. Practical application shows that this equipment is suitable for the emergency rescue and disaster relief work after the coal mine flood.

This article puts forward and analyzes the concept of a new design metho, that joins together into one common process the experience of two independent disciplines - composition and design. The system of suggested compositional design method is seen at the same time as a finished theoretical model, and as a process of acquiring relevant professional skills, i.e. the methods theory and its genesis in practical activity is the same phenomenon, that develops step by step from the level of corporal-sensuous modeling of shape - via invariant project codes - to conceptual expression and metaobject.
