During the 1970s. various political, cultural, and academic factors joined to thrust the topic of sex differences in achievement in mathematics to national attention. At the same time, research has served to refine attitudinal instruments and to relate cultural and societal influences to sex differences in mathematics. The junior high school years are Important to study because sex-role identification becomes more prominent, and crucial educational choices are made at this stage. Surprisingly, a study by Benbow and Stanley (1980) has suggested that the mathematical experiences of both males and females are identical until the junior high school years. The junior high school teacher, especially, becomes cognizant that different foctors are Influencing students during these early adolescent years.

This study uses hypothesis testing with multiple regression and partial regression analysis. Multiple regression is used to test the fourth hypothesis concerning the relationship of giving certification allowance to motivation and work discipline of teacher, while for hypodesis testing one, two and three used partial test, that is to know relation of giving of certification allowance with motivation and relation giving certification allowance to discipline teacher work and motivational relationships and work discipline of teachers. The results showed that there was a relationship between certification allowance with motivation with significance value of 0.444 with medium category. There is a relationship between certification allowance and teacher work discipline with significance value of 0.469 with medium category. There is a relationship between motivation and discipline of junior high school teachers in Oksibil Pegunungan Bintang Regency with a significance value of 0.661 with strong category. There is a correlation between certification allowance with motivation and discipline of junior high school teacher in Oksibil Pegunungan Bintang Regency 0,502 with medium category. Keywords:  Provision of Teacher Certification Allowance, Motivation, Teacher Work Discipline

This present research aims to explore the meaning of jihad among Muslim youths in the context of junior high school students in Padang. Muslim youths at this level are considered to have unique characteristics in expressing diversity, including in the interpretation of jihad. This research discovered that there were five types of definitions of the meaning of jihad proposed by the respondents of the research. First, jihad was seen as earnest in worship, secondly; jihad was meant as being committed to work, third; jihad was interpreted as devotion to parents, fourth; jihad was interpreted as an effort to spread Islamic teachings and the fifth; Jihad was defined as a war against infidels. There were several sources which affected the way respondents interpreted the meaning of jihad, for instance, Islamic teacher (ustāż) around 85%, Quran teacher 73%, parents 59%, religion teacher in elementary school 54%, and junior high school teacher for 51%.

Community service activities. Scientific Manuscript Writing Training Journal of Educational Research at SMP Negeri 17 Tangerang Selatan aims to help elementary/junior/junior high school teachers in South Tangerang City in writing scientific manuscripts that will be published in ISSN journals. The training method is carried out using the method of mentoring, discussion, workshops and technical guidance (bimtek) of writing scientific manuscripts in accordance with journal manuscript standards. The results of the training were obtained as many as 11 elementary school teacher manuscripts (73%) and 4 junior high school teacher manuscripts (27%) published in the INVESTIGATION journal of SMP Negeri 17 Tangerang Selatan Volume 2 Number 2 Month September 2021 - December 2022. Publishing teacher scientific manuscripts in the INVESTIGATION journal is certainly very important. assisting teachers in fulfilling their obligations to journalize their scientific texts, so that they are not constrained in promotion of class or position. The targeted output in this community service activity is the publication of the results of community service activities in national scientific journals with ISSN.
