The landscape ethnoecological study approach also explores the significance of local systems in understanding ecological sustainability, including its implementation in biocultural conservation education. In this view, a study has been carried out on the traditions of the indigenous people of Wasur Village in Wasur National Park, regarding the practice of sar rituals and their relationship with education in Wasur National Park for biodiversity conservation to obtain an initial view from a biological perspective. This study uses an ethnological study approach with data collection through free interview techniques to key informants, library surveys, and free lists. The results of interviews with key informants revealed that the sar tradition is a ritual of respecting relatives who have died through a prohibition on the use of all forms of resources on family land that was left behind for a thousand days of mourning. Based on the literature survey, it was found that the period of a thousand days can support the regeneration of several specific macropod species in the Trans Fly area such as Dorcopsis spp, Macropus agile, and Thylogale spp. Sar is an example of a sasi system known by several tribes on the north coast of Papua which is promoted as culture-based conservation

The atomic structure material has certain characteristics and difficulties, including the need for a lot of knowledge and analytical skills that students have. Therefore, students need to be given the right learning model in order to increase their interest and learning activities. The learning model that can be done is to carry out learning by applying a cooperative approach, one of which is the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type. The effectiveness of using the TGT model can be increased by providing question cards media. The question card media used in this study is a card containing Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions that require students' higher order thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the TGT type cooperative learning model with the help of HOTS-based question card media on atomic structure material on higher-order thinking skills and student learning outcomes of physics education.Based on the results of research and calculations, it can be concluded that the provision of question card media in the TGT model on the atomic structure material is effective on student learning outcomes with Sig values. (0.028) <0.05, then there is a difference in learning outcomes so that it can be concluded that the experimental class is more effective than the control class. Supported by the highest lowest scores in the experimental group, namely 75 and 100 with an average of 90.02, while the control group was 65 and 100 with an average of 84.2.

This research was conducted to determine the knowledge and conservation efforts of the people of Doyo Lama villageand Harapanvillage. The research was carried out for three months, namely, from July to September 2020, using the observation method; interview method; documentation method; and literature study methods, and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that knowledge about sowang wood (Xanthostemon sp.), is a traditional knowledge passed down from generation to generation orally. The people of Doyo Lama village call sowang by the name toang (meaning hard and strong), and Harapan village named howan(meaning wood that is durable and not easily weathered). The people of Doyo Lamavillage know two species of sowang wood, namely broad-leaved species and small-leaved species. The people ofHarapan villagealso recognize two species, namely the red-flowered species and the yellow-flowered species. The broad-leaved species and the red-flowered species are Xanthostemonnovoguineensis species. While the species with small leaves and yellow flowers are Xanthostemonpapuanus. Traditional knowledge and use of sowang wood by the people of Doyo Lama villageand Harapanvillage is decreasing, influenced by the development of modern life, because until now there have been no efforts and conservation activities for sowang wood in the two villages and there has been a shift in cultural values from traditional be modern.
