A fluid analysis method using an analogy relating the pressure wave equation of fluid to elasticity equations is applied to sloshing analysis, where existing FEM structural analysis codes are available. It is seen from theoretical consideration that the present method is equivalent to the classical FEM formulation of linear sloshing analysis. The numerical analyses of liquid sloshing in a rigid cubic tank and of vibration of tubulous fluid under gravitational force are performed by using the present method. The results are shown to be in excellent agreement with the theoretical values.

At present, the torpedo shell analysis includes fluid analysis and structural analysis. The fluid pressure distribution of torpedo surface is the results of the fluid analysis, and it is the outer load input of torpedo shell analysis. Meanwhile the results of torpedo shell structure analysis also play a important role in binding. So torpedo shell structure analysis is a fluid-structure interaction analysis. With the development of engineering analysis software, Fluid analysis software Fluent and structural analysis software ANSYS are able to analyze torpedo fluid and structural. But there has not been a specialized software to handle fluid-structure interaction analysis. This paper coupled Fluent and ANSYS, and got an analysis method for torpedo shell fluid-structure interaction analysis base on Fluent and ANSYS

The crystal and molecular structure of [Cr(S2CN(CH2)5)3].2 CHCl3 was found by the X-ray structural analysis method. The value R 0.090 was found for 1 131 observed independent reflections. The substance crystallizes in a space group of symmetry P212121 with the following unit cell dimensions: a = 0.8675 (6), b = 1.815(2), c = 2.155(3) nm. The experimentally observed crustal density was 1.48 Mgm-3 and the value calculated for Z = 4 was 1.51 Mgm-3. The CrS6 coordination polyhedron has the shape of a trigonally distorted octahedron, where the D3 symmetry is a approximately retained. The degree of trigonal distortion expressed as the projection of the chelate S-Cr-S angle onto the plane perpendicular to the C3 pseudo axis is Φ = 41.7° (Φ = 60° for an octahedron). The skeleton of the structure formed by the complex molecules contains channels filled with chloroform molecules. The specific type of complex-chloroform interaction consists of the formation of hydrogen bonds of the chloroform protons with the fully occupied pπ-orbitals of the sulphur atoms in the coordination polyhedra. The low stability and crystal decomposition can be explained by loss of chloroform from the channels.

Non invasive fractional flow reserve derived from CT coronary angiography (CT-FFR) has to date been typically performed using the principles of computational fluid analysis in which a lumped parameter coronary vascular bed model is assigned to represent the impedance of the downstream coronary vascular networks absent in the computational domain for each coronary outlet. This approach may have a number of limitations. It may not account for the impact of the myocardial contraction and relaxation during the cardiac cycle, patient-specific boundary conditions for coronary artery outlets and vessel stiffness. We have developed a novel approach based on 4D-CT image tracking (registration) and structural and fluid analysis based on one dimensional mechanical model, to address these issues. In our approach, we analyzed the deformation variation of vessels and the volume variation of vessels to better define boundary conditions and stiffness of vessels. We focused on the blood flow and vessel deformation of coronary arteries and aorta near coronary arteries in the diastolic cardiac phase from 70% to 100 %. The blood flow variation of coronary arteries relates to the deformation of vessels, such as expansion and contraction of the cross-sectional area, during this period where resistance is stable, pressure loss is approximately proportional to flow. We used a statistical estimation method based on a hierarchical Bayes model to integrate 4D-CT measurements and structural and fluid analysis data. Under these analysis conditions, we performed structural and fluid analysis to determine pressure, flow rate and CT-FFR. Furthermore, the reduced-order model based on fluid analysis was studied in order to shorten the computational time for 4D-CT-FFR analysis. The consistency of this method has been verified by a comparison of 4D-CT-FFR analysis results derived from five clinical 4D-CT datasets with invasive measurements of FFR. Additionally, phantom experiments of flexible tubes with and without stenosis using pulsating pumps, flow sensors and pressure sensors were performed. Our results show that the proposed 4D-CT-FFR analysis method has the potential to accurately estimate the effect of coronary artery stenosis on blood flow.

This paper discusses Kiki Sulistyo’s strategy for reaching position in Indonesia literary field. This research applied phenomenology and structural analysis method. Data were gathered by interview and objectification from social structure. The style of the writers’ poems and his consciousness toward Lombok were analyzed by phenomenology. The research result shows that Lombok literary field is denoted as the economy upside. Kiki Sulistyo denounces the world economy, thus moving within the production of a restricted arena. Kiki Sulistyo created literature as a movement, so he formed Akar Pohon community. Through this community, he generates a young poet and simultaneously undertakes a project of publishing works. Two anthologies of poetry he published brought him to the position of a legitimate poet. The legitimacy is given by poets, literary scholars, and institutions

Operating conditions dependent large pressure variations are one of the working characteristics of combination electronic unit pump (CEUP) fuel injection system for diesel engines. We propose a precise and accurate nonlinear numerical model of pressure inside HP fuel pipeline of CEUP using wave equation (WE) including both viscous and frequency dependent frictions. We have proved that developed hyperbolic approximation gives more realistic description of pressure wave as compared to classical viscous damped wave equation. Frictional effects of various frequencies on pressure wave have been averaged out across valid frequencies to represent the combined effect of all frequencies on pressure wave. Dynamic variations of key fuel properties including density, acoustic wave speed, and bulk modulus with varying pressures have also been incorporated. Based on developed model we present analysis on effect of fuel pipeline length on pressure wave propagation and variation of key fuel properties with both conventional diesel and alternate fuel rapeseed methyl ester (RME) for CEUP pipeline.

Abstract An automated procedure for the determination of serum alkaline phosphatase uses phenolphthalein monophosphate as the substrate. Important assets of this substrate are: (1) A chromogenic product is enzymically produced and can be measured directly; (2) Bilirubin does not interfere, thus eliminating the need for a control analysis. Excellent agreement is obtained when the enzyme activities determined by the present method and by the automated p-nitrophenylphosphate procedure are compared.
