Here, we present the draft genome sequences of seven Listeria monocytogenes strains isolated during three independent studies carried out in three stages of a poultry meat production chain. The genome sequences of these strains obtained from different stages can help to understand the possible transmission of L. monocytogenes.

ABSTRACT The complete genome sequence of a Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) O26:H11 strain, MBT-5 (sequence type 21 [ST21], stx1a, stx2a, eae, ehxA), and two draft genome sequences of Listeria monocytogenes strains MBT-6 and MBT-7 belonging to the virulent sequence types 1 (ST1, clonal complex 1 [CC1]) and 59 (ST59, CC59), respectively, were determined. The strains were isolated in 2015 from ready-to-eat mixed greens in Germany.

This is the announcement of draft genome sequences for Staphylococcus aureus strains belonging to sequence type 97 (ST97) and ST71. These sequence types are commonly associated with bovine mastitis, and the strains were isolated in Ireland in 2010 from the milk of cows with clinical mastitis.

We present here draft genome sequences of five Staphylococcus aureus strains obtained from children suffering from atopic dermatitis. The strains were determined to be of five different sequence types (sequence type 1 [ST1], ST7, ST8, ST15, and ST101) and carried a unique combination of superantigen-like protein (SSL) and serine protease genes.

ABSTRACT Listeria monocytogenes has caused listeriosis outbreaks linked to soft cheese. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of seven L. monocytogenes isolates from two possibly related outbreaks caused by soft cheese products in Washington State.

ABSTRACT Listeria monocytogenes is a foodborne pathogen of global concern because of the high mortality rate among patients. The draft genome sequences of three L. monocytogenes strains isolated from foods are reported here. The availability of these genomes should provide useful information on the genomic diversity of L. monocytogenes isolated from foods in China.

ABSTRACT Colistin has been classified as a highest priority critically important antibiotic. However, the emergence of mobile colistin resistance (mcr) genes has threatened the therapeutic uses of colistin. Here, we report the draft genome sequences, antibiotic resistance genes, and sequence types (STs) of two multidrug-resistant and mcr-1.1-positive Escherichia coli strains isolated from irrigation water.
