Chikungunya virus belongs to the genusAlphavirusin the familyTogaviridae. Here we report the complete genome sequence of a chikungunya virus strain, GD05/2010, isolated in 2010 from a patient with chikungunya fever in Guangdong, China. The sequence information is important for surveillance of this emerging arboviral infection in China.

ABSTRACT Cholesterol esterase (EC 3.1.1.13) was identified in a bacterium, Burkholderia stabilis strain FERMP-21014. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of B. stabilis FERMP-21014, which has been used in the commercial production of cholesterol esterase. The genome sequence information may be useful for improving production levels of cholesterol esterase.

Members of the genus Humibacter, from the family Microbacteriaceae, have been isolated from sewage sludge compost, agarwood chips, and various soil samples. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Humibacter aquilariae BT305, the first genome sequence identified within the genus Humibacter, which was isolated from the small intestine of castrated beef cattle.

Here, we present the genome sequence and annotation of HV4-6-C5C, a bacterial strain isolated from a mesophilic two-stage laboratory-scale leach bed biogas reactor system. Strain HV4-6-C5C may represent a new genus of the family Bacteroidaceae and may have a key role in acidogenesis and acetogenesis steps during anaerobic biomass digestion.

ABSTRACT We report the first complete genome sequence of LMG 22219 (=ON 86T = CCUG 49543T), the Staphylococcus pseudintermedius type strain isolated from feline lung tissue. This sequence information will facilitate phylogenetic comparisons of staphylococcal species and other bacteria at the genome level.

Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae, a bacterium of the family Enterobacteriaceae, is a high-priority antibiotic-resistant pathogen that causes nosocomial infections. Here, we describe the isolation and annotation of the K. pneumoniae siphophage Shelby, a T1-like siphophage encoding 78 proteins, of which 34 have a predicted function.

ABSTRACT The genus Curtobacterium belongs to the family Microbacteriaceae, within the phylum Actinobacteria. This genus includes a wide range of Gram-positive species associated with plants and soils. Here, we report the genome sequence of a new strain, Curtobacterium sp. strain YC1, which was isolated from the surface of Nostoc flagelliforme colonies. The genome of this strain contains one chromosome and one plasmid, and its size is 3.4 Mb.

ABSTRACT Chronic bee paralysis virus (CBPV) causes an infectious and contagious disease of adult honeybees. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of CBPV strain SLO/M92/2010. This is the first published complete genome of CBPV in Apis mellifera carnica, which provides important additional knowledge about the divergence of the CBPV genome.

Sulfitobacter sp. strain AM1-D1, a toxic bacterium of the family Rhodobacteraceae, was isolated from the cultivable phycosphere microbiota of marine toxigenic dinoflagellate Alexandrium minutum amtk4. The complete 4.69-Mb genome comprises one single circular chromosome and five circular plasmids. It has 4,559 coding genes, including those for biosynthesis or degradation of saxitoxin and bioactive exopolysaccharides.

Here, we report the coding-complete genome sequence of African swine fever (ASF) virus strain Liv13/33, isolated from experimentally infected pigs and Ornithodoros moubata ticks. The 11 sequences that we obtained harbored no notable differences to each other, and all of them were closely related to the genome sequence of the Mkuzi 1979 strain of genotype I.
