The CMS experiment was completely assembled in the fall of 2008 after a decade of design, construction and installation. During the last two years, cosmic ray data were taken on a regular basis. These data have enabled CMS to align the detector components, both spatially and temporally. Initial use of muons has also established the relative alignment of the CMS tracking and muon systems. In addition, the CMS calorimetry has been crosschecked with test beam data, thus providing an initial energy calibration of CMS calorimetry to about 5%. The CMS magnet has been powered and field mapped. The trigger and data acquisition systems have been installed and run at full speed. The tiered data analysis system has been exercised at full design bandwidth for Tier0, Tier1 and Tier2 sites. Monte Carlo simulation of the CMS detector has been constructed at a detailed geometric level and has been tuned to test beam and other production data to provide a realistic model of the CMS detector prior to first collisions.

We report on the status of the CMS full simulation software for Run 2 operations of the LHC. Initially, Geant4 10.0p02 was used and about 16 billion events were produced for analysis of 2015-2016 data. In 2017, the CMS detector was updated with a new tracking pixel detector, a modified hadronic calorimeter electronics, and extra muon detectors added. Corresponding modifications were introduced in the full simulation and Geant4 10.2p02 was adopted for 2017 simulation productions; that includes an improved Geant4 for multi-threaded mode, which became the default for 2017. For the 2018 Monte Carlo productions, the full simulation has been updated further. The new Geant4 version 10.4 is used, adopted for the production after detailed validations using test-beam and collision data. The results of validations will be described in details. Several aspects of the migration to Geant4 10.4 and modifications in CMSSW simulation software will be also discussed.

A dialectical constructivist model of mental attention ("effort") and of working memory is briefly presented, and used to explicate subjects' processing in misleading test items. We illustrate with task analyses of the Figural Intersections Test (FIT). We semantically derive a set of 10 Theoretical Structural Predictions (TSP) that stipulate relations between mental attentional resources (mental-power: Mp) and the systematically varied mental demand of items (mental-demand: Md), as they jointly codetermine probable performance (conditional probabilities of passing and failing). These predictions are evaluated on first approximation using a known family of ordered Latent Class models, all probabilistic versions of Guttman's unidimensional scale. Parameters of these models were estimated using the Categorical Data Analysis System of Eliason (1990). Main results are: (1) Data fit Lazarsfeld's latent-distance model, providing initial support for our 10 predictions; (2) The M-power of children (latent Mp-classes) when assessed behaviourally may increase with age in a discrete manner, and have the potential to generate interval scales of measurement; (3) In the light of our results what statisticians often consider "error of measurement" appears (in part) to be signal, not noise: The organismic signal of misleading (Y-) processes that in their dialectical (trade-off) interaction with success-producing (X-) processes generate performance.

KRI is one of the main components possessed by the Indonesian Navy which has the main task of security and national defense at sea. The Termination of Operation KRI over the age of 40 results in a lack of existing KRI, so there is a need for research that represents an evaluation and analysis of the work system so that the main tasks can still be carried out. The SWOT and CIPP analysis in this study aims to identify several factors that influence the achievement of the main tasks. The results obtained are in Quadrant I (+; +) which states the status "on the track".Keywords : KRI, SWOT, CIPP.
