A linear program is said to be improper if its feasible set is empty or its optimal value is infinite. Improper programs appear as a result of inaccuracy of information, of excessive simplification, of considering some restrictions as unchangeable, etc. Moreover, a contradictory model may fit the real contradictions adequately, and the ways of transforming it into a noncontradictory one (the ways of correcting it) may correspond to real procedures of solving these contradictions. The paper describes the DELTA-PLAN-ES interactive system for numerical analysis of improper linear programs. The system is designed for Rjad-2 ES computers.

Aiming at the problem that the mixed noise interference caused by the mixed projection noise system is not accurate and the real-time performance is poor, this article proposes an adaptive system switching filtering method based on Bayesian estimation switching rules. The method chooses joint bilateral filtering and improved adaptive median filtering as the filtering subsystems and selects the sub-filtering system suitable for the noise by switching rules to achieve the purpose of effectively removing noise. The simulation experiment was carried out by the self-developed human–computer interactive projection image system platform. Through the subjective evaluation, objective evaluation, and running time comparison analysis, a better filtering effect was achieved, and the balance between the filtering precision and the real-time performance of the interactive system was well obtained. Therefore, the proposed method can be widely applied to various human–computer interactive image filtering systems.

The anti-seepage measures of a high earth rockfill dam built on the foundation with a deep overburden affects the stability and safety of the dam greatly. Nowadays there are few researches on this area both at home and abroad. On the basis of the finite element seepage analysis of the Pubugou high rockfill dam in which core walls and two cut-off walls are designed as the anti-seepage measures, the real seepage behavior of the seepage field is obtained in this paper, as well as the seepage characters of the seepage field under different arrangements of the cut-off walls. The conclusions have a certain referential value for the design of the anti-seepage measures for the similar projects with the foundation of a deep overburden.

A dual convex programming approach to solving linear programs with inequality constraints through entropic perturbation is derived. The amount of perturbation required depends on the desired accuracy of the optimum. The dual program contains only non-positivity constraints. Anϵ-optimal solution to the linear program can be obtained effortlessly from the optimal solution of the dual program. Since cross-entropy minimization subject to linear inequality constraints is a special case of the perturbed linear program, the duality result becomes readily applicable. Many standard constrained optimization techniques can be specialized to solve the dual program. Such specializations, made possible by the simplicity of the constraints, significantly reduce the computational effort usually incurred by these methods. Immediate applications of the theory developed include an entropic path-following approach to solving linear semi-infinite programs with an infinite number of inequality constraints and the widely used entropy optimization models with linear inequality and/or equality constraints.

The paper deals with analysis of dynamic stability and behavior of automatic dynamic balance (ADB) by applying theoretical approach. Differential equations of the considered system were established using Lagrange equation. Numerical analysis of the dynamic equations was performed and influence of dynamic viscosity coefficient on self-balancing process was estimated. It is demonstrated that the balancing time decreases in non-linear character. The optimal value of dynamic viscosity for achieving minimal balancing time can be determined for the analyzed system.

Window sill of brick walls is one of the most critical places in a connection of two envelope types objectively. If there are the transparent and opaque parts present together, the connection is much more complicated. Different behavior of the construction materials in dynamic boundary conditions causes deformations of thermal field of the window sill detail. Numerical thermal field analysis verified by the experimental measurement in experimental outdoor chambers is used for recognize the real heat-air-moisture behavior in the various constructions.

Abstract Present paper is intended to develop optimal policy for Water Distribution Network using Neuro- Fuzzy Technique in an effective manner. Hydraulic simulation of the Real Network is performed in Water Gems and is used for the evaluation of the system performance measure. The real network is revised by adding certain Hydraulic parameters such as PBV’s (Pressure Break Valves) and Pumps and the results are found to be within standard limits for velocity and pressure specified by CPHEEO (Central Public Health and Environmental Engineering Organization). The networks are optimized using ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Interactive System) to achieve the optimal cost and to obtain maximum reliability of the network. The pipe length and diameters are considered as fuzzy variables in the model and given as inputs to the model and pressure and velocities are outputs of the model. A comparison is made which marks the proposed network optimized using ANFIS is more reliable than the real network with slight increase in cost. Chota Govindpur – Baghbera Water Supply System is used as Case Study which is located in East Singhbhum District Jharkhand, India and the source of water is Subarnarekha river originated from Nagri village in Ranchi district of Jharkhand.

The subway line will cross near the church St. Johann in the city. The foundation influence caused by tunnel construction from adjacent buildings will be simulated by software FLAC3D. And the feasible proposal of the construction will be resulted from the data which are collected from the field measurement and simulation. It plays an important role for coefficient of horizontal pressure K0 in simulating the geotechnical engineering. Comparing the data from the field measurement with simulation, the coefficient of horizontal pressure will be corrected. And the results of the simulation will be much closer to the real profiles.
