In 2045, Indonesia is determined to have a golden generation in order to improve the nation's competitiveness. However, in reality the condition of teenagers today is very alarming. The data show about 93 out of 100 elementary school students have already consumed pornography; about 21 out of 100 young women have abortions; some 135 teenagers become victims of violence every day; 5 out of 100 adolescents contract sexually transmitted diseases; 63 out of 100 teens have sex before marriage. School teachers should take active roles in minimizing such unhappy figure and prepare the golden generation. This article proposes local culture and local moral to complete the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK+) within the challenge of the 21st century skills. The objectives are to provide pre-service English Teachers at Universitas PGRI Semarang and pre-service English teachers in general with the ability to develop English course content in the students’ cultural context as well as local characters and to equip the pre-service teachers with the 21st century skills. The subjects were 345 pre-service English Teachers who took the TEFL, Teaching Media, and ESP Courses during the academic year of 2015/2016 and 2016/2017. The data were collected through observation, teaching practice, and self-evaluation. The results show 84.92% of the students were included under the category of “good” and “very good” in pedagogical skills, 77.38 % in pedagogical content knowledge, and 87.53 % in cultural and local wisdom context in content development, but only 51.58% in technological knowledge. For improving technological knowledge of the pre-service students, there should be more training on the use of technology before and during the process of teaching and learning of pre-service English teachers.

Teaching Practice (TP) is fundamental and an age long practice in the faculties of education. However, as old as it is and with the new trend in teaching, there are serious challenges affecting the effectiveness of TP exercise. Notably, they lack good proficiency, subject mastery after graduation among others. This study examined the place of TPin Nigerian universities (NU). Descriptive survey research design was adopted.Study population comprised 734 students while purposive sampling technique was used in selecting six departments in the Faculty of Education (FU), University of Ibadan (UI), Ibadan Nigeria.Propionate size to sampling technique was used to select 70% of 400 (320) level students in each department selected for the survey.“Teaching Practice Questionnaire for Students (TPQS)” was the research instrument used to collect data. Cronbach’s Alpha statistics was used to obtain the reliability coefficient of 0.89. Descriptive statistics and Pearson product moment correlation were used in analyzing the data collected. Level of effectiveness of TP exercise was reported to be high. The result also showed that TP exercise had positive effect on student teachers. The result equally found that no significant but positive and weak relationship exists between TP of student teachers and the acquisition of 21st century skills in the FU, UI. Stakeholders should work together to keep upon improving effectiveness of TP exercise in NU. Abstract. The current challenges facing the educational sector with respect to the expectations and challenges that society demands in the 21st century require the training of teachers committed to social change in their pedagogical practice, teachers who transform their work with innovative proposals in their didactic, with an entrepreneurial character, creative, critical, competent in this digital culture that overwhelms us day by day, with social leadership, with an optimal degree of emotional well-being and, in this sense, a significant change in the role of the teacher is required , based on collaborative learning that allows the student to build their own knowledge from a close relationship between family, school and community, since education is the responsibility of the whole of society and not merely of institutional entities, school or university. With this reflexive systematization of teaching practice, the aim is to socialize the significant contribution of corporeity in modern pedagogy and how it contributes in practical and didactic teaching practice, transforming the postmodernist mechanistic society immersed in technological fields, moving away from the concept of body and its articulation in the processes of expansion of knowledge.

This paper argues that the early lyrics of Samuel Taylor Coleridge explore the ethical work of collective guilt, a feeling with enormous Romantic and contemporary significance. Coleridge's lyrics formally model collective guilt while making a cautious case for its social value. By reading ‘Fears in Solitude’ and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner through recent work in social psychology and the philosophy of ethics, I show how Coleridge creates causalities of feeling, affirming meaningful relationships of responsibility that go beyond personal guilt. I conclude that Romantic lyric offers an ideal form not only for illustrating how collective guilt works as a ‘structure of feeling’, but also for examining the emotion's potential to create positive social change.
