We report a rare case of gastric cancer in pregnancy. A 26-year-old woman presented at the 20th week of pregnancy complaining of nausea and vomiting. Although the patient considered the condition to be related with pregnancy and underestimated its importance, her complaints persisted over the following weeks and she was hospitalized for investigation. The diagnostic workup revealed a metastatic gastric cancer. Gastric cancer is very rare in pregnancy, and therefore it may be left out of differential diagnosis by physicians. Diagnosis may be further delayed because of overlapping symptoms occurring during normal pregnancy (nausea, vomiting, and fatigue). All these factors may contribute to a very high mortality of this malignancy during pregnancy.

Retroperitoneal schwannomas are though more common among females, are very much rare tumors arising from sheath of nerves. Also, extremely rare during pregnancy. Very few articles till date are there regarding retroperitoneal schwannomas that’s too in pregnant female. Usually these are symptomatic unless causing some compression to other intra-abdominal structures like vessels or bowel and usually malignant. As its retroperitoneal very difficult to diagnose it. So, with proper investigations and radiological imaging, first have to find out the differential diagnosis prior to planning for surgery.

Neurological manifestations of hypothyroidism include peripheral neuropathy and pituitary hyperplasia. However, these associations are rarely encountered during pregnancy. We report a case of a known hypothyroid with very high thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) values (512 μIU/mL) in the second trimester. At 24 weeks she developed facial palsy and pituitary hyperplasia which responded to a combination of steroids and thyroxine. She had caesarean delivery at 35 weeks and 3 days gestation in view of pre-eclampsia with severe features and was discharged on oral antihypertensives and thyroxine. On follow-up at 5 months, TSH normalised and pituitary hyperplasia showed a greater than 50% reduction in size. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of facial palsy and pituitary hyperplasia associated with hypothyroidism during pregnancy.

Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) and multiple sclerosis (MS) are autoimmune demyelinating disorders of the peripheral and central nervous systems, respectively. The co-occurrence of these 2 conditions is rare in the literature. Herein, we present a rare case of GBS and MS in a 19-year-old female who presented initially with GBS followed by MS, and we provide a literature review. Despite being rare, it should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of patients with atypical and usual presentation of both diseases.

Polycystic (dysgenetic) disease of the salivary glands is a rare entity that has only recently been described in the literature. The disease is more commonly seen in females and majority of the cases have presented as bilateral parotid gland swellings. This case presenting in a 21-year-old male is the first of this unusual entity involving solely the minor salivary gland on the lower lip. This case report highlights the importance for the clinician to be aware of this differential diagnosis, when treating an innocuous lesion like a mucocele.

The case presented details an uncommon case of subglottic tracheal stenosis exacerbated by pregnancy. We outine the multidisciplinary management involved and the outcomes for the pregnancy. The case serves as a reminder that shortness of breath in pregnancy has a broad differential diagnosis, and stridor is always abnormal.

Pyogenic granuloma (PG) is a kind of inflammatory hyperplasia in response to chronic irritation. Here, we report a case of 64 year old male patient with PG on midline of the dorsum of the posterior third of the tongue.
