Rapid development of urbanization and automation has resulted in serious urban traffic congestion and air pollution problems in many Chinese cities recently. As a traffic demand management strategy, congestion pricing is acknowledged to be effective in alleviating the traffic congestion and improving the efficiency of traffic system. This paper proposes an urban traffic congestion pricing model based on the consideration of transportation network efficiency and environment effects. First, the congestion pricing problem under multimode (i.e., car mode and bus mode) urban traffic network condition is investigated. Second, a traffic congestion pricing model based on bilevel programming is formulated for a dual-mode urban transportation network, in which the delay and emission of vehicles are considered. Third, an improved mathematical algorithm combining successive average method with the genetic algorithm is proposed to solve the bilevel programming problem. Finally, a numerical experiment based on a hypothetical network is performed to validate the proposed congestion pricing model and algorithm.

With the development and realization of industrialization and urbanization in the world, urban traffic volume grows rapidly; many big cities face more and more serious traffic problem. As a mean of traffic demand management, traffic congestion pricing has important significance in theory and practice. Traffic congestion pricing can counteract external diseconomy caused by network congestion, and the price of congestion is tantamount to the difference between social marginal cost and private marginal cost. This paper analyzes the economic theory of congestion pricing. Combined the effect of traffic congestion pricing that implemented in the developed countries, it researches the influence of urban transportation development in our country in the future based on the implementing congestion pricing.

India’s intended nationally determined contribution emission which is safe, smart and sustainable green transportation network. Azadpur Mandi which is known for the biggest selling place of fruits and vegetable in Delhi is becoming a place of very heavy traffic area zone. People who are living nearby and the people coming to Azadpur Mandi facing a lot of traffic and also because of no proper direction hinted there people are not able to reach their destination on time. This paper assesses urban traffic congestions and its impact on the daily life of stakeholders and also advocates some possible solutions. In this research found results the number of vehicles has increased in the last ten to fifteen years. The total number of categorised vehicle has also increased. Azadpur Mandi has impacted the land value of the surroundings. The road infrastructure is not sufficient to cater to the traffic volume of this area. The number of lanes in this area is less. This paper outlines the problems of traffic congestion in Asia’s largest sabji (Vegetable) Mandi by using statistical tools. There are very few parking lots inside and outside of the Mandi. This paper investigates the goal 11 of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Goal 11 says to make cities safe, resilience, sustainable. According to the Delhi Traffic police, Azadpur is one of the most accident-prone hotspots of Delhi.

With the accelerating development of urbanization in China, the increasing traffic demand and large scale gated communities have aggravated urban traffic congestion. This paper studies the impact of communities opening on road network structure and the surrounding road capacity. Firstly, we select four indicators, namely average speed, vehicle flow, average delay time, and queue length, to measure traffic capacity. Secondly, we establish the Wiedemann car-following model, then use VISSIM software to simulate the traffic conditions of surrounding roads of communities. Finally, we take Shenzhen as an example to simulate and compare the four kinds of gated communities, axis, centripetal and intensive layout, and we also analyze the feasibility of opening communities.

In the face of increasingly congested urban traffic caused by all sorts of harm, how to solve the traffic congestion problem in the urban is becoming the major hot spot which domestic and foreign experts and scholars pay close attention to and study. This paper in a microscopic angle to analyze the problem -- urban traffic intersection congestion, not in macroscopical city planning, transportation planning, urban traffic demand to discuss. Through exploring the urban road system structure and operational mechanism, development of the automobile overpass is to solve the intersection congestion.

Truck flow plays a vital role in urban traffic congestion and has a significant influence on cities. In this study, we develop a novel model for solving regional logistics network (RLN) design problems considering the traffic status of the background transportation network. The models determine not only the facility location, initial distribution planning, roadway construction, and expansion decisions but also offer an optimal solution to the logistics network service level and truck-type selections. We first analyze the relationship between the urban transportation network and the RLN design problem using real truck data and traffic flow status in a typical city. Then, we develop the uncover degree function (UDF), which reflects the service degree of the RLN and formulates based on an impedance function. Subsequently, the integrated logistics network design models are proposed. We model the RLN design problem as a minimal cost problem and design double-layer Lagrangian relaxation heuristics algorithms to solve the model problems. Through experiments with data from the six-node problem and Sioux-Falls network, the effectiveness of the models and algorithms is verified. This study contributes to the planning of regional logistics networks while mitigating traffic congestion caused by truck flow.

The rapid development of economy and science and technology is quite obvious, which makes cars becoming more and more widely into the general family life. With the rapid development of economics and technology; the number of vehicles has largely increased. In this paper, there is the basic organizational framework for intelligent transportation, intelligent transportation network proposed model and its data storage structure, and the important influence on optimal path trajectory intelligent transportation planning. This paper analyzes intersection road network in the distribution based on computer graphics language, type and grade roads. The dynamic mathematical model of single vehicle is used vehicle planning algorithm based on period, effectively avoided the traffic road, reduce vehicle travel cost, improve the real-time effect and accuracy of the vehicle dynamic path. We hope the results and researches could combine with reality in order to reduce traffic congestion.

With the rapid development of urbanization in China and the motorization’s fast pace of high speed as well as the national automobile industry process, many cities in our country have been facing a huge problem - traffic congestion in recent years. And the essence of the problem is the imbalance between road traffic supply and traffic demand in the process of urban development. Aimed at the problem of traffic congestion, this paper based on Hangzhou city’s traffic congestion index of monitoring data from testing platform and statistical data from field survey , studied the Hangzhou east area of road traffic running situation, analyzed the causes of the east area of Hangzhou road congestion, and thus to adjust and optimize the road traffic system of the area, put forward reasonable system solutions and proposals to improve the management level
