This study investigates and explores the adoption of information communication technology by the universities and the impact it makes on the university students’ academic performance. The study also examines the moderators’ effect of gender, GPA, and student majors on the relationship between ICT and academic achievement. By using a quantitative research approach and a sample size of 1000 students, data were collected about the ICT adoption in universities and the relative performance of students belonging to four Saudi universities. Structure equation modelling was chosen to determine the validity of the research model. The Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS), specially used for structural equation modelling and path analysis, was used as the research tool. The findings reveal that there exists a relationship between ICT adoption and academic performance in a conservative environment. An additional finding also stated that ICT adoption resulted in the improvement of the performance of female students more than the male. However, students’ IT major was found to be making no impact on students’ academic achievement. A discussion of findings, limitations, and suggestions for future research has been provided in the study. Finally, it also provides implications of the current study to the existing knowledge.

The aims of this paper is to analyze the effect of the relationship between knowledge and on green management and its implication on competitive advantage and sustainable performannce. This study used a quantitative research approach that explains the phenomenon by collecting numerical data analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM) with the WarpPLS program application. The population in this study were small or medium business owners (general managers) in the industrial sector in the city of Semarang. Knowledge and green management have a significant effect on competitive advantages and competitive advantages has a significant effect on the sustainability performance. It means that the knowledge and green management simultaneously shows a significant effect on competitive advantages and sustainability performance. The application of green management will also improve sustainability performance. The originality of this study is on the testing of simultaneous relationships between the factors making up the application of green management, namely knowledge as well as the impact of green management implementation on sustainability performance.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the impact of organisational culture on firm environmental performance in the context of the hospitality sector. The study used the quantitative research approach with descriptive and causal research design. The Denison organisational culture questionnaire was used to measure organisational culture. The Denison questionnaire contains four traits namely involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission. The questionnaire was distributed among 500 owner/managers of formal hotels and guest accommodations in South Africa. Data gathered were analysed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modelling. The results of the study indicate that the four traits of organisational culture (involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission) have significant positive impacts on the environmental performance of firms in the hospitality sector. The findings of the study can assist firms in the hospitality sector to understand the significance of internal intangible factors such as the organisational culture in the implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives.

AbstractThis research inquiry was conducted to probe the consequence of test anxiety on students’ academic performance. The research design was descriptive, while the quantitative research approach adopted for the purpose of collecting and interpreting the desired information.  504 students (252 male and 252 female students) of the 10th class were selected as sample from nine cities of Punjab.  The Westside Test Anxiety Scale for measuring test anxiety which was prepared by Richard Driscoll, Ph.D. available on the American Test Anxiety Association web was used to gauge the test anxiety of the students.  For statistical investigation and interpretation, Pearson r was exercised.  The findings of the study supported the research hypothesis as a significant correlation (r= -.072*) in students with higher anxiety and their academic performance and in students with low anxiety with their academic performance (r= -.083*) was found.  The study also hypothesized that as the degree of anxiety raisin the level of academic performance would decline and vice versa.  The value of Pearson r showed a significant connection between test anxiety and academic achievement/ performance as p< .05.  Thus the null hypotheses of the study were rejected.

It is impossible to ignore the fact that the internet is the basic need of today’s technological world. Different research shows that individuals across the globe are using information and communication technologies (ICTs) to get the most up-to-date information from the internet. Similarly, university students also spend a lot of time on the internet researching and collecting material relevant to their research topics. Although different research has been conducted on the usage of the internet in different countries, research about Pakistani students is still limited. The major goal of this research was to see how internet usage affects students' academic performance particularly when it comes to increasing their grades. The objective of this research was to determine the type of internet use and the impact of the internet on students' academic achievement. Arts faculty from the University of Punjab Pakistan was selected as the universe of the study and 5 departments of arts were selected by simple random sampling and a sample of 100 students was taken through systematic sampling. The study adopted a survey research design. A questionnaire was developed by the researchers as a tool for data collection. The data was analyzed statistically, which led to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. Statistical results are also presented and discussed, and implications for future research are also provided. According to the findings, internet use has a positive impact on student's academic achievement.

Purpose of the study: The main purpose of this study is to analyse the impact of gender diversity on organisational integrity in the context of Pakistani industrial sector. This study also investigates about the influences of female leaders on the association between diversity and organisational integrity and evaluates the effect of work place diversity on increase in organisational performance. Methodology: This study involves mediating and moderating variables along with independent and dependent variables, therefore researcher in this study has utilised Structural equation model (SEM) and Meta Regression Analysis (MRA) for achieving the main objectives of this research. The researcher has followed the positivism research philosophy as well as deductive research approach. In this study, researcher has followed quantitative research design to attain the key objectives of this study. Main Findings: From the results of study, it can be suggested that employers in Pakistan should diversify their workforce and also look to hire female candidates for the same position as male candidates since it would increase the work efficiency and integrity within an organisation as women tend to work more or equally passionately in their respective fields similar to men. Applications of this study: So, the study of impact of gender diversity on organisational integrity in the context of Pakistani industrial sector is not only useful for IT department but also useful for all organisational where gender diversity exists. Novelty/Originality of this study: Finally, it is important to clarify that one of the research gap that has been identified is the difference in wages between the male and the female employees. The difference in the pay scale between the two genders is considered to be a sophisticated gap that the research can deliberately overcome.

The predominance and use of social media for sacred and secular purposes have made it imperative to understand the role of social media in people’s religious motives and life. Therefore, grounded in gratification theory, the current study examines the impact of social media usage intensity, social media usage frequency, and religious appreciation in developing and strengthening different motives, i.e., ministering, spiritual enlightenment, religious information, relaxing entertainment, and well-being, among the followers of social media pages/accounts/sites for faith-based content. Following a quantitative research methodology, data were collected from the 562 followers of social media, i.e., Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in SmartPLS3 software. The results revealed that social media usage intensity and frequency positively influenced all five motives of individuals with a higher impact on individuals’ motive of gaining religious information followed by spiritual enlightenment and well-being. Likewise, religious appreciation positively impacted all five motives of individuals to assess the faith-based content on social media pages/accounts/sites. However, the intensity of the impact varied from well-being, relaxing entertainment, ministering, religious information to spiritual enlightenment from the highest to lowest level, respectively. Moreover, the unique concept, theoretical and practical implications, and future research insights of the study are major advances to literature in the field.

This study proposes and empirically examines a revised and extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, while acknowledging the role of trust on government cloud (G-Cloud) acceptance. The study utilized a quantitative research approach to examine the research model with data collected from a survey administered to IT professionals at government agencies in Saudi Arabia. The model was tested using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Results show that trust is a major predictor of behavioral intentions to use G-Cloud that reduces uncertainty associated with the cloud and mitigates risk perceptions on the one hand, and significantly increases the perceptions of usefulness on the other hand. Furthermore, results indicate that performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions are all significant determinants of G-Cloud acceptance. Based on the findings, the study highlights several implications for practice and suggests opportunities for future research in the field of government cloud.

The objective of this research was verifying the hypothesis that a memorable halal travel experience had an effect on future travel intention in halal tourism. This quantitative research was conducted by asking Muslim foreign tourists who were visiting Indonesia about their perceptions of halal tourism directly using a questionnaire. The results showed the structural equation modelling analysis verified that memorable halal travel experience contributed to increasing future travel intention. The practical implications of this research showed that it was important to create a unique and memorable travel experience in strengthening the attractiveness and competitiveness of halal destinations.

Multivariate procedures (e.g. structural equation modelling) are essential to personality psychology, but interpretive difficulties can arise when examining the relations between residualized variables (i.e. the residual content of a variable after its overlap with other variables has been statistically controlled for) and outcomes of interest. These issues have been the focus of recent debate within the research literature on the Dark Triad, which is a collection of interrelated but theoretically distinct personality constructs made up of narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy. The present paper highlights previous work on the issue of partialling and also makes use of recent developments surrounding meta–analytic structural equation modelling to reliably assess the impact of partialling on the empirical profiles of the Dark Triad components. The results show that numerous interpretive difficulties arise after partialling the overlap among the Dark Triad components, most notably for narcissism and Machiavellianism. The results are discussed in the context of contemporary Dark Triad research in addition to discussing the implications for structural equation modelling methods in personality psychology more generally. Recommendations are made for how future research can mitigate the interpretive difficulties that may arise from partialling. Copyright © 2018 European Association of Personality Psychology

Purpose – This research discussed ethics, shared values, university image, and trust as factors of student loyalty. This investigation is performed to discover aspects that influence loyalty. Student loyalty factors were previously researched, but the bulk of the research covered only major loyalty factors such as shared values, trust and university image, but overlooked university ethics as a student loyalty determinant. Research methodology – This study is fundamentally a quantitative study using the methodology of survey research. The information is evaluated using AMOS by means of exploratory factor analysis and structural equation modelling (SEM). Findings – The results show how the image of the university, the ethics and the shared values of the graduates positively influence the trust, which affects loyalty. Research limitations – Regarding the limitations of the study which also reconfigure lines of future research, it is important to note, in the first place, the geographical restriction of the population under study to three Moroccan universities. Practical implications – Educational providers can use the findings to know what increase the loyalty and allocate resources to improve the determinants that affect the trust of the students, thus increasing the allegiance of the learners. Originality/Value – This research provides innovative knowledge regarding the maintenance of the university’s relations with its graduates.
