Traffic status analysis is the basis for highway management and control. Most of the previous research studies were carried out from the perspective of road segments. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the difference in traffic operation characteristics of an eight-lane highway from the perspective of lanes. Lane saturation, average lane speed, and lane density were selected as traffic state evaluation indicators, and the concept of state space division was introduced to classify the traffic operation status of each lane. Then, a single-system multi-index dynamic comprehensive evaluation method was adopted to reflect the time-varying characteristics and the development trend of the operation status of each lane. The research results can provide the theoretical support for more refined highway management and improve the service level of the eight-lane highway.

It’s important to control telecom equipment maintenance outsourcers’ performance in outsourcing decision-making process by selecting the proper evaluation indexes. This paper sets up a new comprehensive evaluation method based on statistics distance with weight to assess outsourcer’s performance. Ten indexes are choosed to determine which are good service providers from the ability and effort degree of their work, including failure rate, failure loss, service level, maintenance price, management fee, arrive time, repair time, customer relationship, maintenance engineer and tool machine. Each index has its own expert’s weight. We classify different service grades and calculate the real distance of every maintenance outsourcer by Euclidean distance. Then the performance of each equipment maintenance outsourcer can be inspected from the calculation result. Through the application in telecom company we testify its advantages compared with other evaluation methods.

Abstract We used system theory to analyze the structure of a regional drought disaster system and separated the drought disaster risk system into three subsystems. These were drought disaster-causing factors, disaster-inducing environments, and disaster-bearing bodies. Analysis of the main factors of these subsystems allowed the establishment of a regional comprehensive drought disaster risk evaluation index system. To simultaneously evaluate the distribution and development trends of the regional comprehensive drought disaster risk, we established a dynamic evaluation model. Based on the ideas of the projection pursuit clustering method and the dynamic comprehensive evaluation method, the model can make use of multi-dimensional space–time drought disaster information. The model was applied to evaluate comprehensive drought disaster risk in the Xuzhou region, China. The evaluation results show that the method was able to illustrate the development trend and distribution of the comprehensive drought disaster risk in the Xuzhou region. The clustering zoning results show that Pizhou City is the area with the highest risk in Xuzhou, while Fengxian has the lowest. The development trend of comprehensive drought disaster risk with time is not significant.

The main purpose of MArine Traffic Safety System (MATSS) study, based on catastrophe theory, is to ensure the safety of marine traffic and reveal the essence of traffic risks, and so as to create an effective risk prediction and control mechanism. In this paper, cusp catastrophe was modeled and evolutionary path of MATSS was described. Hence, Fuzzy Catastrophe Theory was concluded. This theory combines Fuzzy Math with Catastrophe Theory and is derived from analysis of uncertainties of marine traffic, including dynamics, irreversibility and mutability. The adverse impacts of system potential function and uncertainties of outside controlling factors were minimized via developing such a theory. The marine traffic risk model was created taking perspectives of various observers into consideration accordingly. As a result, Fuzzy Catastrophe Evaluation Method was presented, which is beneficial to the system safety state evaluation and decision. In the end of the paper, the objectivity and rationality of the method was validated by MATLAB, which has broad application in marine risk prediction and control.

Based on the gearbox as the research object, we discussed the problem: how to confirm every part’s weight when assess gearbox’s state by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Contraposing the main problem of the weight-fixed Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) that ignoring every part’s fault degree in the process of evaluation, a variable weight method is proposed base on the rate of fault degree contribution. And to a state known gearbox, the weight of each part in the whole gearbox assessment is confirmed by the AHP and the variable weight method respectively. The comparison of the two assessment results shows that the result get by the variable weight method is more close to the gearbox’s real state, so this method is more accurate. What’s more this method is very simple, and can be used in real project.

In order to cope with air pollution, China has formulated Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cooperative supervision mechanism on air pollution prevention and control. Nevertheless, after several years’ effort, the air quality has improved significantly but far from reaching people’s needs. To improve the supervision strategies for meeting a better supervision and treatment effect, this paper will evaluate the effect of the cooperative supervision on air pollution and control in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and give several advices on the improvement of existing supervision method through results analyzation. Firstly, a comprehensive evaluation criteria system is established. Then a novel method of determining weight is firstly proposed in this paper, -fuzzy measure and AHP are used for determining weights which can not only consider the correlation among criteria but also take care of the will of the decision-makers. Finally, we obtain the evaluation ranking results by Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation combined with Cloud model and several advice is proposed. In general, the model can provide reference for monitoring and evaluating the effect of supervision on air pollution prevention and control in other regions and the results analysis provide a great reference to the decision makers to optimize the cooperative supervision in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.

Abstract With the increase of load and clean-green energy connect to the power system, big challenges are brought to the traditional control method of generation-follows-load (GFL). Therefore, it is important to study the load-follows-generation (LFG) models which can achieve active demand response by changing the load temporarily to reduce the difference between maximum and minimum load. This paper introduces the concept of LFG and GFL models, summarizes the difference between them and puts forward the concept of load-source duality at first. Then, introduces load response modeling, optimization objectives, constraints, scheduling methods and control methods of six LFG models based on the recent research results in this area. Each model can alleviate the pressure in maintaining stability on the generation side, improving the safety and reliability of the power system. Finally, this paper puts forward the future development trend of LFG models based on the overviews.

In order to assess product’s disassembly sequences simply and effectively, we present the objective adaptive entropy way, which judge information according to the difference of the evaluation indexes, and get the importance of each evaluation index in the comprehensive assessment of the project (i.e. weight of indexes). So we in turn get the comprehensive evaluation method which is based on the product disassembly sequences of information entropy .This method offers the optimal result and provides the objective weight of each index. So that the designers can improve the relative devises and plan the resource of disassembly. Thereby we can get the best disassembly sequences. At last, taking the example of the 9 kinds of optimal disassembly sequence of a certain type air-condition’s outdoor, we can verify the availability of this method.
