Reduction of switch count in symmetrical and asymmetrical reduced switch multilevel inverter designs has been proposed regularly with operation of conventional carrier-based pulse width modulation technique. In this study, a novel structure of symmetrical Hexa shaped model reduced switch seven level output inverter is proposed without any auxiliary switch and H-bridge. Proposed structure offers a smaller number of switch count and voltage sources which results in the cost and complexity reduction of its implementation. To operate the switching sequence of inverter from carrier based APOD, POD and PD methods, suitable logical expression to be realize which gained more prominence. Active utilization of two voltage sources in each mode of operation results in significant reduction of voltage stress across each switch is achieved. A comparative study of proposed MLI with various reduced switch MLIs has been presented. Initially, simulation model implementation has been carried out with MATLAB/Simulink and observed the performance parameters and THD. Simulation results are carried for the comparison of the results obtained in the real time work performed on OPAL-RT 5700 simulator.

This paper presents an investigation into the utilisation of sequential and parallel processing techniques for the real-time simulation of a flexible manipulator system. A finite dimensional simulation of the system is developed using a finite difference approximation to the governing dynamic equation of the manipulator. The developed algorithm is implemented on a number of uni-processor and multi-processor, homogeneous and heterogeneous, parallel architectures. A comparison of the results of these implementations is made and discussed, on the basis of real-time processing requirements in the simulation and control of flexible manipulator systems.

This paper proposes a generalized method for the generation of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) signals for multilevel inverters. In the proposed method, the actual sector containing the tip of the reference space vector need not be identified. A method is presented to identify the center of a sub hexagon containing the reference space vector. Using the center of the sub hexagon, the reference space vector is mapped to the innermost sub hexagon, and the switching sequence corresponding to a two-level inverter is determined. A new technique is proposed in this paper, by which these two-level vectors are translated to the switching vectors of the multilevel inverter by adding the center of the sub hexagon to the two-level vectors. The proposed method can be extended to any n-level inverter, and a generalized algorithm is proposed. The scheme is explained for a five-level inverter, and experimental results are presented for a three-level inverter and seven level Inverter.

Urgency of the research. The proposed methods can save valuable time and cut down the cost on hardware in some instances and make it easier for a non-technical group of professionals to design and renderer products. Target setting. To use free and paid products for use in modern businesses and schools to optimize the design and research phase and also create environments for training the qualified personnel in extreme conditions. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. These optimizations are done directly by developers of the real time simulation tools and some large companies but a lot of them are fractured to smaller businesses and need one direction to make it to the mainstream. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. Conversion methodology CAD models for real time rendering. The research objective. Make a uniform standard of procedures on how to leverage the power of real time rendering tools and find ways to use them in industrial practice. The statement of basic materials. Possibilities of using the game engine Unreal Engine and the Epic Games addon DATASMITH for conversion CAD models for real time rendering software are presented in article Conclusions. The game engines can be used with right tools to make it easier for artists and other non-technical professions to see results immediately. Also these tools can be leveraged to make simulations of various kinds with higher efficiency but the results can be less accurate. But with the development of better tools and better integration of CAD software these results can be improved and me and also other professionals believe that the future of the designing and testing products is real time.

Multilevel inverter has become more popular and attractive for drive applications. Among the various modulation techniques, Carrier based techniques has been commonly used because of their simplicity and flexibility. This paper presents the comparisons of bipolar multicarrier pulse width modulation for the new symmetrical multilevel inverter. The performance parameters of new multilevel inverter were analyzed through various switching strategies. The detailed study has been carried out by MATLAB/SIMULINK. The real time implementation was carried out using FPGA. The results of both simulation and experimentation were compared.
