Mesochorinae is a widely distributed subfamily of ichneumonid wasps with approximately 900 described species (Yu et al., 2012), of which almost 90% belong to the cosmopolitan genus Mesochorus Gravenhorst (Broad et al., 2018). Since it is a very large genus, it has become a group of complex taxonomy and with numerous taxonomic conflicts (Araujo et al., 2018). Recent efforts were made aiming to resolve nomenclature problems present within Mesochorus (see Araujo & Vivallo, 2015; Kittel, 2016; Araujo et al. 2018). Specifically, Araujo & Vivallo (2015) and Araujo et al. (2018) proposed a total of 19 replacement names, of which two became primary homonyms of existing names (listed below) and seven were invalid, as Kittel (2016) and, in one case, Schwenke (2002), had previously proposed respective replacement names. Furthermore, Araujo et al. (2018) published an identification key for the World genera of Mesochorinae which includes Incurvarion Kasparyan. However, this genus was implicitly synonymized with Neurogenia Roman (Ctenopelmatinae: Perilissini) when Reshchikov et al. (2014) transferred the type (and only included) species, I. gorochovi Kasparyan, to Neurogenia. To resolve the taxonomic conflicts that remain within the subfamily Mesochorinae, seven new synonymies and two replacement names are proposed herein, together with a corrigendum for the identification key proposed by Araujo et al. (2018).

A new species of the tribe Hemigasterini, Platymystax xalapa sp. nov., is described from the Mexican State of Veracruz. It is the first species of the genus described from the New World. A preliminary identification key to all known seven species of Platymystax of the world fauna is provided.

A new species of water scavenger beetle, Laccobius (Glyptolaccobius) yinziweii sp. nov. is described from Yunnan, China. Diagnostic characters are illustrated. Laccobius (Cyclolaccobius) nitidus Gentili, 1984 is reported from Guizhou, Laccobius (Microlaccobius) hammondi Gentili, 1984 from Hubei, and Laccobius (s. str.) inopinus Gentili, 1980 from Guizhou for the first time. Additionally, an identification key to Laccobius (Glyptolaccobius) of the world is updated.

The description of a new species of oribatid mites (Oribatida) of the family Zetorchestidae—Zetorchestes krisperi sp. nov.—is proposed based on adult and tritonymph specimens collected from rainforest soil of Bi Dup-Nui Ba National Park (southern Vietnam). We also review the distinguishing characteristics for Zetorchestes species and present an identification key to Zetorchestes species of the world. Diagnostic features of Zetorchestes nymphs are discussed.

Two new species—Dinetus rakhimovi Mokrousov et Khedher, sp. nov. from Uzbekistan and Dinetus tunisiensis Khedher et Mokrousov, sp. nov. from Tunisia are described and illustrated. The total number of Dinetus is increased so to 14 species in the world. An identification key to all species is given.

The taxonomy of the Afrotropical Nylanderia fauna is revised for the first time. Fourteen native species are revealed, of which eight are described as new: N. boltoni LaPolla and Fisher, N. brevisetula LaPolla and Fisher, N. impolita LaPolla and Fisher, N. luteafra LaPolla and Fisher, N. scintilla LaPolla and Fisher, N. silvula LaPolla and Fisher, N. umbella LaPolla and Fisher, and N. usambarica LaPolla, Hawkes and Fisher. Two species, N. jaegerskioeldi and N. natalensis, have workers that are indistinguishable from each other, and males are the only reliable way to separate these two species. Three non-native Nylanderia species are thought to have been introduced to Africa: N. bourbonica, N. vaga, and N. vividula. An identification key to the worker caste is provided.

This study provides a comprehensive checklist of the Colombian species of Campylocentrum sect. Campylocentrum based on an analysis of 20 herbaria around the world that house specimens from the country. Complete type citations, synonymy list, list of representative specimens, distribution maps, identification key, and taxonomic notes on species similarities are provided. Neglected in these herbaria, a new species, C. alvesii, is described and illustrated. Ten species of the section are confirmed to Colombia, here C. carlos-parrae, C. escobariae, C. chocoense, and C. queremalense are synonymized, and C. polystachyum is confirmed for the country.

Abstract With over 3000 species, Colombian orchid flora represents one of the richest in the World. The neotropical subtribe Pleurothallidinae is the most diverse, but it is still a poorly recognized Orchidaceae group and numerous new discoveries within national representatives are described every year. An examination of material collected recently in the Colombian department of Putumayo revealed the existence of a new species of Myoxanthus, named M. ortizianus, which is described, illustrated and placed within an identification key for national species of the nominal section of the subgenus Myoxanthus.

In this study 13 leech species from Tunisia are listed. They belong to 2 orders, 2 suborders, 4 families and 11 genera. The paper includes also data about hosts and habitats, distribution in the world and in Tunisia. Faunistic informations on leeches were found in literature and in the results of recent surveys conducted by the authors in the North East and the South of the country. The objectives of this study were to summarize historical and recent taxonomic data, and to propose an identification key for species signalized. This checklist is to be completed, taking into account the hydrobiological network of the country especially the North West region, which may reveal more species in the future

A new species of flat mite, Cenopalpus umbellatus sp. nov. (Acari: Trombidiformes: Tenuipalpidae) is described and illustrated based on females, males, deutonymphs, protonymphs and larvae. The morphological ontogeny in idiosomal and leg chaetotaxy is briefly described for all stages. Mite specimens were collected from the leaves of Rhaphiolepis indica var. umbellata Makino (Rosaceae), an evergreen shrub native to Japan. An identification key to the world species of Cenopalpus is also provided.
