Nutrition surveillance has been in place in Thailand for more than ten years. Nutrition was first addressed as an explicit entity within the national development policy during the fourth National Economic and Social Development Plan (NESDP; 1977–1981). Surveillance was conceived as an important component of a nationwide nutrition programme, and an operational strategy to implement it was sought.

The purpose of this research was to study the impact of the business environment on business development of SMEs in accordance with the National Economic and Social Development Plan of Thailand. The data was collected from 420 entrepreneurs of SMEs in Thailand using stratified random sampling. A questionnaire was the study’s data collection tool while multiple correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used with the statistics for data analysis. The results showed that most of the entrepreneurs were males aged 41-50 years, married, and had a bachelor’s degree or higher for education. Most SMEs were partnership businesses dealing with agricultural products with a duration of operation between 10-15 years. Most had registered capital of less than 5 million baht with an average annual income of less than 5 million baht and a number of employees fewer than 20 people. According to the national economic and social development plan for these SMEs, there was one particular business environment factor like technology that showed a relationship and a positive impact on overall business development. When considered in each aspect, it was found that (1) technology was related to and had a positive impact on business development in marketing knowledge and (2) technology was related to and had a positive impact on the development in businessmanagement.

With the purpose to stimulate the technical development and to seek the new growth points in economy, governments of different countries attach great importance to the technical programming of the new generation, giving priority to the internet of things. It is also stated in the twelfth five-year-plan outline for national economic and social development of the People's Republic of China that the national infrastructure should develop with the safety of broadband blending to push the application of the internet of things.

In the paper the current state and the prospects of development of Krasnoyarsk Region economy is analyzed. Dynamics of key indicators of social and economic development of Krasnoyarsk Region in comparison with the Russian Federation is presented. The main problems of economy of Krasnoyarsk Region are allocated. The main results of economic and social development of Krasnoyarsk Region for 2016 are made. The analysis of performance of expected indicators of social and economic development of Krasnoyarsk Region for 2016 is carried out and compliance of planned and actual results of implementation of the development plan for Krasnoyarsk Region is certain.
