The factors that affect Human Development Index have been investigated extensively in previous researches. These studies consider education as an important factor and focus on the quality of education such as teachers’ skills, educational facilities and student conditions. Democracy has also been established as an important factor in HDI. In this study, we examined two variables, the democracy index and the land language index as fundamental variables of the Human Development Index (HDI). The land language index is a new variable created to signify the importance of the medium of instruction in higher education institutes, particularly in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. We performed a multiple-correlation analysis with the available data to find the correlation of these two indices on HDI. We found that together, the democracy index and land language index had a strong correlation to HDI. The results of this study can have a significant impact on social scientists and policymakers and should be considered for further research.

The problem and the aim of the study. The use of innovative technologies for the development of basic personal qualities and supra-subject competencies is a priority direction for the development of the international educational environment. Web-quest is one of the applications of the gamification technology in didactics. The authors suggest that when designing a web-quest, special attention should be paid to working with the formulation of the web-quest plot as an important factor in the formation of universal competencies of undergraduates. Research methods. To determine the sequence of training actions in the development of the plot, the principles of designing the game environment of the quest, the measurement procedures, the system-activity and competence approaches were used. The experiment involved 20 students of Vyatka State University (50% boys and 50% girls) in the specialty 44.04.01 Teacher education. Informatization of education (Master's degree level). Triggers, macros, and hyperlinks are used to implement transitions. The web quest is hosted on the OneDrive. Statistical methods: G-sign test, multiple correlation analysis. Results. During the experiment undergraduates learned to identify and design the elements of the plot; to arrange events in a chronological order of presentation; to establish a logical connection between the facts; to transform the plot into a storyline and back. The empirical value of Gemp=2<Gcr=3 (for p=0.01) obtained in the estimation procedure proves that the changes in the system are not random. The coefficient (0<R1,2,3...N=0.86<1) is calculated, confirming the positive correlation of universal competencies with undergraduates performance. The evaluation of its statistical significance was done (Femp0.01=14.47>Fcrit0.01=5.29). In conclusion we summarize the problems connected with the development on the plot of the web-quest (presentation of facts in chronological order, author's detachment, etc.) and offer recommendations for their resolution: graphic and verbal visualization, numbering of events, the use of well-known literary plots.

Abstract In software, code is the only part that remains up to date, which shows how important code is. Code readability is the capability of the code that makes it readable and understandable for professionals. The readability of code has been a great concern for programmers and other technical people in development team because it can have a great influence on software maintenance. A lot of research has been done to measure the influence of program constructs on the code readability but none has placed the highly influential constructs together to predict the readability of a code snippet. In this article, we propose a novel framework using statistical modeling that extracts important features from the code that can help in estimating its readability. Besides that using multiple correlation analysis, our proposed approach can measure dependencies among di erent program constructs. In addition, a multiple regression equation is proposed to predict the code readability. We have automated the proposals in a tool that can do the aforementioned estimations on the input code. Using those tools we have conducted various experiments. The results show that the calculated estimations match with the original values that show the effectiveness of our proposed work. Finally, the results of the experiments are analyzed through statistical analysis in SPSS tool to show their significance.

Asset specificity, an asset creates company’s distinctive competency that tough to be imitated by competitor. Howere asset specificity features a direct impact on a firm’s in progress truthful price determination, bankruptcy risk, liquidation value, and abandonment option. On alternative hand, the ownerhip of this quality specificity has serious consequences on finance strategy. Bank faces serious issue to create a correct valuation of specific and opaque asset so bank charges higher value of debt. we discover no distinction within the extent to that good news is delayed in earnings for corporations conditional on asset specificity. This study use 280 non finance service and non agriculture type listed in IDX on 2018. However The information assortment used documentation technique and also the data analysis utilized was multiple correlation analysis. we have a tendency to document a significant negative association between quality specificity and conditional conservatism especially in Mining, Miscellaneous industry, and good consumer Industry But we notice new findings within the infrastructure sector there's a significant positive impact of specificity Asset specificity on conservatism.

Purpose This study aims to investigate the dynamic co-movement and interconnection among 69 security investment indices in China using the multi-time scale framework. Design/methodology/approach The authors first use the multiple coherence analysis method to exhibit the degree of relationships among the variables under study. In addition, the wavelet multiple correlation and wavelet multiple cross-correlation analyses are used to examine the time-frequency synchronization interdependence structure among the variables. Findings From the empirical findings, one may infer less opportunity for portfolio diversification at higher time scales. Obviously, at these scales, the authors find that the 69 Chinese investment indices generate a simple security investment class, as indicated by higher interconnection between the indices. Research limitations/implications Further research can increase the sample size to re-investigate the empirical relationship for security investment indices. Practical implications In the nutshell, the results demonstrate the potential for Chinese investors to invest in security investment indices to earn from portfolio diversification at lower time frequencies. The Chinese investment market indices under study yield further opportunities of portfolio diversification toward the short-term investors than the long-term investors. Originality/value To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first paper to examine the dynamic co-movement and interconnection for security investment indices in China.

So that labor productivity increased labor, one of the ways that must be taken workforce management is providing training to its workforce. This research is classified into associative research and descriptive research. Associative research is research that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. in this study, researchers will explain the variables that would be appropriate that occurred in PT.Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk Bandung. The total number of employees PT.Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk part minimarket service in the Bandung area is a total of about 1500 people. The sample will be taken is 62 people. the data analysis is classifying data based on variables and types of respondents, tabulate the data based on the variables of all respondents, presenting the data of each variable studied, perform calculations to test the hypothesis that has been proposed. The results of multiple correlation analysis showed a correlation value 0892. means of training and productivity of employees have a degree of force that is very strong relationship with work productivity. That assumption is taken from the value of 0, 892 which is in the range of 0.8 to 1.The coefficient of determination used to how big the influence of training on labor productivity. Based on the analysis using SPSS 13:00 KD value obtained is equal to 0796 X 100% = 79.6% of the value shows that the effect of training on labor productivity is 79.6% while the remaining 20.4% influenced by other variables. Based on the calculation result is unknown if the training provides a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. The condition is indicated when an increase in the quality of training will result in an increase in employee productivity.
