INTRODUCTION: According to Census 2013, approximately 25% of Auckland’s population is Asian, with the majority of these being Chinese. Given that Aotearoa New Zealand’s population is ageing, it can be expected that there will a significant demand for aged services for Chinese older adults in our local community in the future. Exploring the language barrier encountered by retired and aged (65+) Chinese migrants living in Auckland is needed.METHOD: Two focus groups were interviewed with retired Chinese migrants (group 1) and local social service practitioners (group 2). The focus group topics included the living experience of Chinese migrants in Auckland in Aotearoa New Zealand, while local social service practitioners reported their daily work experience of serving Chinese older adults. A short, warm-up, oral questionnaire stimulated discussion in each group. Data analysis was used to identify themes and draw tentative conclusions about the needs of older migrants and suggest how local aged- services providers could better serve retired Chinese migrants.FINDINGS: Language barriers and transportation problems were commonly agreed to be obstacles that hindered retired Chinese migrants accessing social support and health services. More input was needed to improve their general English language proficiency to facilitate their daily lives and participation in social life in Aotearoa New Zealand.IMPLICATIONS: Findings from the research have the potential to be an important resource for local social service practitioners, giving them a better understanding of older Chinese people.

This study is conducted to: 1) test and analyze the influence of educational level on financial report quality; 2) test and analyze the influence of work experience on financial report quality; 3) test and analyze the influence of accounting information system on financial report quality. This type of research i.e. research with quantitative data sources in this study is the primary data. Population in this study is all employees employed in district financial department in Surakarta with the sample amounted of 30 employees, where all population was taken as sample. The technique in this study use the question form. The data analysis in a linear regression multiple series program spss for windows version 17.0. From data analysis known that the variabel work experience (H2) and accounting information system comprehension (H3) have influence on financial report quality, and the educational level (H1) variable has no influence on financial report quality, with in the regression coefficient values show that showed a negative value i.e. t count-0.985 and significant value of 0.334

This study aims to obtain information about extrinsic motivation and work experience and its effect on employee performance in the Serang Baru District Office. This study uses a saturated sample so that the population is the same as the sample of 80 employees, at the Serang Baru District Office. The method used is validation test, reliability test, then classical assumption test, which includes normality test and multicollinearity, as well as heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear analysis test, multiple linear equations, F test, coefficient of determination, and t test. The data of this research used observation methods and questionnaires distributed to 80 samples which were addressed to employees of the Serang Baru District Office. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded: 1) Extrinsic motivation does not affect employee performance because employees are willing to work more than expected regardless of extrinsic motivation or not. 2) Employee performance is strongly influenced by work experience. The more experience, they get while working, the more knowledge they will get. 3) Employee performance will be better with the support of experienced employees so as to increase the level of output produced.             Keywords: Employee Performance, Extrinsic Motivation, Work Experience
