This article examines manufacturing export determinants across Mexican states and regions from 2007 to 2015. Paying particular attention to the role of FDI, the analysis considers internal and external determinants of manufacturing exports under static and dynamic panel data methods. Several interesting results were obtained. First, the ratio of manufacturing to total GDP is the most consistent determinant of exports performance, regardless of the estimation method or specification employed. Second, static panel data estimations under GMM techniques suggest different sensitivity to FDI across regions, with the Mexico-U.S. border region observing the most substantial short-term effect of FDI on manufacturing exports. Finally, using dynamic panel data methods, we found significant persistence and similar long-term effects of FDI across most of the regions.

The problem of labor productivity in Indonesia is a regional and sectoral inequality. To know the time required to remove inequality, can be measured by the level of convergence of labor productivity. The research would analyze the rate of sectoral labor productivity convergence among provinces in Indonesia spatially and identify the determinant factors of labor productivity. The analytical methods used is spatial dinamic panel data with Spatially Corrected Blundell-Bond (SCBB) estimation method. The results show that there are spatially sectoral labor productivity convergence. Primary sector takes the longest half-life convergence of 7-8 years, while secondary takes 1-2 years and tertiary sector takes 3-4 years. Furthermore, the Gross Capital Fixed Formation, Mean Years of Schooling, and real wage sectoral are significantly have positive affect to the labor productivity while Life Expectancy is significantly have negative affect to labor productivity. Keywords : convergence, spatial analysis, labor productivity

Short-term and long-term effects of bromocriptine mesylate (10 mg/kg i.p.) on cyclic AMP contents of the liver and some endocrine glands have been investigated in the presence and absence of sulpiride (10 mg/kg i.p.). Results revealed that bromocriptine caused significant elevations in the cyclic AMP contents of the liver and reduction in its adrenocortical content. Bromocriptine effect on the adrenal cortex was antagonized by sulpiride, whereas its effect on the liver was not changed. Bromocriptine did not change the, cyclic AMP content in the thyroid gland or the ovary.

IntroductionLow back pain and neck pain are among the most common musculoskeletal disorders, and their related medical costs are rising every year. Many interventions are based on the biopsychosocial (BPS) model since the cause of pain is more multifaceted. Physiotherapists have increased opportunities to perform multidisciplinary interventions alone in clinical practice due to a lack of understanding of the model and its cost. Therefore, physiotherapist-led interventions using the BPS model are important and require an updated report summarising their effectiveness. Thus, the purpose of this study will be to summarise and synthesise the effects of physiotherapist-led interventions using the BPS model for spinal disorders. Methods and analysisWe will search the Web of Science, CENTRAL, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, CINAHL and PEDro electronic databases, using a date range from inception to September 2021. We will include only randomised controlled trials for patients diagnosed with spinal disorders who received physiotherapist-led interventions based on the BPS model. The search will be limited to English-language publications. Pain intensity and disability are the primary outcomes. Secondary outcomes are any psychological factors. We will examine the short-term, medium-term and long-term effects, and a subgroup analysis will be conducted, if possible, to investigate the role of additional physiotherapist training.Ethics and disseminationThis study is exempt from ethical approval because it involves publicly available documents. The findings will be submitted for publication in a relevant peer-reviewed journal.PROSPERO registration numberCRD42021258071.

This study examined the relationship between investment policy and dynamic of net book value of quoted manufacturing firms in Nigeria. Panel data of 15 quoted manufacturing firms was collected from the annual reports of the manufacturing firms from 2010-2019. Stock prices of the quoted firms was modeled as the function of short term portfolio investment, subsidiary investment, long term portfolio investment and long term investment. Multiple regressions were formulated. Panel data methodology was employed while the fixed effects model was used as estimation technique at 5% level of significance. Fixed effects, random effects and pooled estimates were tested while the Hausman test was used to determine the best fit. Panel unit roots and panel cointegration analysis were conducted on the study. The study found that the independent variables explained 69.1 percent of the systematic variation in net book value of the quoted manufacturing firms. Long term investment and subsidiary investment have positive relationship with net book value of the quoted manufacturing firms while short term and long-term portfolio investment have negative relationship with net book value of the quoted manufacturing firms while the probability coefficient of the variables informed us that the independent variables are statistically not significant. From the findings, the study conclude that investment policy affect significantly the net book value of the quoted manufacturing firms. It recommends that proper investment analysis should be carried out in appraising short term investment to enhance value of manufacturing firms. There is need for management to integrate the objectives of long term investment with the value objective of Nigeria manufacturing firms.

The aim of the article is to empirically verify the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth. The time scope of this study covers the period of 2008–2019. The scope of analyzed subjects covers 34 European countries, 27 of which are currently members of the European Union. European countries consume large amounts of energy, so it is worth investigating the effect of reducing energy consumption on the process of economic growth. For this purpose, dynamic panel models were used. The research methods included the use of dynamic panel models, taking into account the Arellano and Bond and Blundell and Bond estimators. The results made it possible to identify the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth. It was found that, in the short term, increases in production will result in a statistically significant increase in energy consumption. Importantly, in the long term, this impact is also statistically significant and positive. On the other hand, taking into account the second of the estimated models, it can be concluded that, in the short term, increases in energy consumption do not cause changes in the rate of economic growth. The verification of this relationship in the long term also does not confirm it. In summary, it can be stated that a one-way relationship (in the short and in the long term), directed from economic growth towards energy consumption, was identified.
