Relatively little is known about the role of early interventionists as teachers of caregivers. The current study was conducted to better understand interventionists’ perspectives about teaching caregivers. A national sample of 1,525 multidisciplinary interventionists completed an online questionnaire, which elicited information about interventionists’ preferences for use of caregiver teaching strategies, factors influencing decisions about teaching strategy use as well as comfort in, frequency of, and barriers to teaching caregivers. Use of a range of teaching strategies across contexts was reported. Differences emerged in teaching strategy preference based on experience in teaching specific skills and years of experience in early intervention. Ten themes emerged as rationales for teaching strategy selection. Interventionists reported moderate confidence in and frequency of caregiver teaching and few barriers to teaching. Results suggest a preference for use of multiple strategies and selection factors based on experience, perceived caregiver benefit, or other general factors such as interventionist preference.

Purpose of this paper is to help the teachers to implement pattern of teaching strategy based on inclusive Education, in the light of using literature as a class –room process. And this study examined relationship between teaching perception of inclusion and their teaching practices. So in this paper I am focusing on how language teacher can overcome the complex, issues, surrounds and challenging situations of inclusive Education in the class –room. Various aspects of learning Disability that can be interacted by intellectual teachers through their professional development. Potential implications of the teaching strategies will help the slow learners and reluctant learners. Every Teacher in the class-room can carry out proper inclusive Education in a common learning Environment. It is also considered to be the development of challenged students is possible based on particular syllabus. The elements of language curriculum, instruction and setting that can be modified for adaptation. I am highlighting the role of literature in inclusive education pertaining to the various aspects of innovative teaching strategies.

Background: This study aimed to explore the prevalence of breastfeeding at birth points in Sicily and the relevance of the factors influencing the adoption of exclusive breastfeeding during hospitalization linked to childbirth. Methods: A survey was conducted to monitor the prevalence of breastfeeding in seven out of nine facilities providing maternity services in the province of Catania (Sicily, Southern Italy) in the years 2016–2018. An online questionnaire was administered using an electronic tablet by the midwife to the mother after discharge. Results: Women who had a higher educational qualification breastfed in a greater proportion (59.6%; odds ratio OR 0.60 for abandoning breastfeeding). Having had a caesarean section moderately impaired breastfeeding uptake, with an almost double chance of declining exclusive breastfeeding (OR = 1.74). Starting breastfeeding within 1 h from delivery showed a significant facilitating effect (OR = 0.58). Rooming-in had a strong facilitating effect on exclusive breastfeeding. A breastfeeding advocacy program was shown to protect from abandoning breastfeeding. Conclusions: It is important to offer in all hospitals the possibility and support for breastfeeding in the first moments after childbirth to increase the number of those who will then continue with exclusive breastfeeding.

This study is concerned with how teachers use students’ reflections to improve their teaching strategies. The purpose of this study was to explore the role of students’ reflections in the learning process, and how the teachers use those reflections to improve teaching strategies. This research used a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicated that the role of students’ journals in learning was to know students’ points of view and to explore students’ needs. In addition, the ways the teachers improved were by changing their teaching methods and changing their attitudes. Therefore, it was considered that the teachers were able to develop their pedagogical competence. Additionally,  the students remarked that a good relationship with the teacher is more important than a good teaching strategy.[Artikel ini membahas strategi guru menggunakan umpan balik dari siswa untuk memperbaiki strategi pengajaran. Tulpamancy is a practice that involves the creation of imagined sentient companions, tulpas, who abide within their human host's mind. The primary aim of our study was to examine the personality characteristics of tulpas and their hosts. Further, we examined the role of personality similarity in predicting relationship satisfaction. Individuals with tulpas completed an online questionnaire of host and tulpa personality and scales of host’s relationship satisfaction. Our pre-registered analyses (https://aspredicted.org/blind.php?x= bi484h) found that hosts reported positive experiences with their tulpas. While we predicted that the personalities of the host and tulpa would be complementary, our results indicated they were more consistent with a similarity perspective. Finally, our hypothesis that the personalities of hosts and tulpas would be related to perceived relationship satisfaction was supported for certain personality characteristics. Our results provide evidence that the tulpa-host relationship may function as a beneficial mechanism in the lives of the host.

UNSTRUCTURED Introduction Majority of older people with hip fractures once admitted to acute hospital care are unable to return to their pre-fracture level of independence and a significant number are either newly admitted or return to residential aged care. Patient education involves family members and/or residential aged care staff as networked units, crucial for empowerment through improving health literacy. Advancement of digital technology has led to evolving solutions around optimising health care including self-management of chronic disease conditions and telerehabilitation. The aim of this study is to understand perspectives of older patients with hip fractures, their family members and residential aged carers, to inform the development of a digitally enabled model of care using a personalised digital health hub (pDHH). Methods A mixed methods study was conducted at a public tertiary care hospital in South Australia involving patients aged 50 years and above along with their family members and residential aged carers. Quantitative data, including basic demographic characteristics, access to computers and Internet were analysed using descriptive statistics. Spearman’s Rank Order Correlation was used to examine correlations between the perceived role of a pDHH in improving health and likelihood of subsequent usage. Whereas qualitative data included series of open-ended questions and findings were interpreted using constructs of capability, opportunity and motivation to help understand the factors influencing the likelihood of potential pDHH use Results Overall, 100 people were recruited in the study, representing 55 patients, 13 family members and 32 residential aged carers. The mean age of patients was 76.4 years (SD-8.4, age range 54-88) and females represented 60% of patients. Although a moderate negative correlation existed with increasing age and likelihood of pDHH usage (ρ= -0.50, p<0.001) the perceived role of the DHH in improving health had a strong positive correlation with the likelihood of pDHH usage by self (ρ=0.71, p<0.001) and by society, including friends and family members (ρ=0.75, p<0.001). Of particular note, almost all the patients (98%) believed they had a family member or friend /carer who would be able to help them to use a digital health platform. Whereas our qualitative findings suggest emphasising on complex interplay of capability, opportunity and motivation as crucial factors while designing a pDHH enabled model of care for hip fractures at a local context level. Conclusion Findings from this study contributed to understand the dynamics around capabilities, motivation and opportunities of patients, family members and formal carers as a “patient networked unit”. Future research recommendation must involve co-creation guided by iterative processes through improving understanding of factors influencing development and successful integration of complex digital healthcare interventions in real-world scenarios.
