Abstract Background With inappropriate use of antimicrobials becoming a great public health concern globally, the issue of applying clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) to regulate the rational use of antimicrobials has attracted increasing attention. Taking tertiary general hospitals in China for example, this study aimed to identify factors to investigate the comprehensive influencing mechanism for physicians’ intention to use CPGs on antimicrobials. Methods Based on the integration of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and Technology-Organization-Environment framework (TOE), a questionnaire survey was conducted covering potential determinants of affecting physicians’ intentions to use CPGs on antimicrobials at the individual level (attitude, subjective norms and perceived risk), technical level (relative advantage and ease of use), and organizational level (top management support and organizational implementation). Data were collected from 644 physicians in tertiary general hospitals in eastern, central and western China, which were obtained by multi-stage random sampling. The structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to link three-level factors with physicians’ behavioral intentions. Results The majority of the participants (94.57%) showed a positive tendency toward intention to use CPGs on antimicrobials. The reliability and validity analysis showed the questionnaire developed from the theoretical model was acceptable. SEM results revealed physicians’ intentions to use CPGs on antimicrobials was associated with attitude (β = 0.166, p < 0.05), subjective norms (β = 0.244, p < 0.05), perceived risk (β = − 0.113, p < 0.05), relative advantage (β = 0.307, p < 0.01), top management support (β = 0.200, p < 0.05) and organizational implementation (β = 0.176, p < 0.05). Besides, subjective norms, perceived risk, relative advantage, ease of use, and top management support showed their mediating effects from large to small on the intentions, which were 0.215, 0.140, 0.103, 0.088, − 0.020, respectively. Conclusions This study revealed the significance of multifaceted factors to enhance the intention to use CPGs on antimicrobials. These findings will not only contribute to the development of targeted intervention strategies on promoting the use of CPGs on antimicrobials, but also provide insights for future studies about physicians’ adoption behaviors on certain health services or products.

Although the effects of clinical guidelines in standardizing clinical practice, controlling costs and reducing medical risks have been proved, the CPGs on antimicrobial hasn’t been widely applied in China yet. Furthermore, the influencing mechanism for the intention to the use of CPGs on antimicrobial remains largely unknown. Methods: By summarizing the relevant literature, the research model and self-administered questionnaire were developed. A national cross-sectional survey was conducted among physicians at tertiary general hospitals in the eastern, central, and western parts of China. Results: A total of 644 valid questionnaires were collected. The results of reliability and validity analysis showed the questionnaire was acceptable. The analyses of structural equation modeling (SEM) showed the proposed model fitted the data well with favorable values of fit indices. SEM results also revealed that seven determinants influence the intention to the use of CPGs on antimicrobial, including attitude (ATT), subjective norm (SN), perceived risk (PR), relative advantage (RA), ease of use (EOU), top management support (TMS) and organization & implementation (OI). Conclusions: The findings of this study revealed the significance of multifaceted factors to enhance the intention to use CPGs on antimicrobial. These findings will not only contribute to the development of targeted intervention strategies on promoting the use of CPGs on antimicrobial, but also provide insights for future studies about physicians’ adoption behaviors on certain health services or products.

Previous studies of mobile payment (m-payment) services have primarily focused on a single group of adopters. This study identifies the factors that influence an individual’s intention to use m-payment services and compares groups of current users (adopters) with potential users (non-adopters). A research model that reflects the behavioral intention to use m-payment services is developed and empirically tested using structural equation modeling on a data set consisting of 529 potential users and 256 current users of m-payment services in Thailand. The results show that the factors that influence current users’ intentions to use m-payment services are compatibility, subjective norms, perceived trust, and perceived cost. Subjective norms, compatibility, ease of use, and perceived risk influenced potential users’ intentions to use m-payment. Subjective norms and perceived risk had a stronger influence on potential users, while perceived cost had a stronger influence on current users, in terms of their intentions to use m-payment services. Discussions, limitations, and recommendations for future research are addressed.

In a small-sized to big-sized company, evaluate the information system success is essential, yet notalways been seamless. Successful implementation of a system can be indicated by measuring its usersatisfaction. This study aims to measure Adempiere ERP Open Source end-user satisfaction atBlessings SME’s. This study employs three variables from The Updated DeLone and McLean Information System Success (2003), namely information system quality, information quality, andservice quality, and two variables from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as well, namely perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and also takes top management support as another consideration. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents directly concerned. The findings showed that information quality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and top management support have significant positive impact to Adempiere ERP Open Source enduser satisfaction, whereas information system quality and service quality have positive impact but not significantly.Keywords: Small-Medium Enterprises, information system quality, information quality, servicequality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, top management support, end usersatisfaction, information system

ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi cloud computing di rumah sakit Muhammadiyah di Indonesia dengan menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 51 sampel. Alat analisis yang digunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) pada program SmartPLS versi 2.0. Faktor pendukung dalam adopsi cloud computing : perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, security effectiveness, reliabilty, needs, cost effectiveness, top management support, complexity, behavioral intention to use dan actual usage. Evaluasi goodness of fit dan resampling bootstraping digunakan untuk menganalisis kelayakan model. Evaluasi goodness of fit model struktural diukur menggunakan nilai predictive-relevance diperoleh nilai sebesar = 0,95 yang artinya model memiliki nilai prediktif yang sangat baik. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh dengan menggunakan resampling bootstraping dengan menghitung hubungan antar variabel memiliki nilai t- hitung yang lebih besar = 2.01 dalam adopsi cloud computing di rumah sakit Muhammadiyah, 8 (delapan) hipotesis diterima yaitu: Perceived usefulness, , Perceived ease of use , needs, top management support, complexity dan 3 (tiga) hipotesis ditolak yaitu: security, reliabilty dan cost effectivenes Kata kunci: cloud computing, perceived usefulness, needs, top management support, behavioral intention to use, partial leastsquare (PLS).

Purpose This paper aims to examine the effect of top management support (TMS) and risk management (RM) on the internal audit activities (IAA) and fraud mitigation (FM) in the Libyan banking sector. Design/methodology/approach The data is collected using a survey questionnaire of 16 commercial banks in Libya and analysed using a structural equation modeling. Findings The study shows positive and significant relationships between RM and employees’ FM and TMS and employees’ FM. The study also demonstrates a significant mediating effect on the relationship between RM, TMS and FM. Research limitations/implications The study is conducted in the Libyan banking sector. Further research is needed in other contexts and sectors to understand the contribution of the RM and TMS on FM, including the impact of technology and internal audit characteristics in terms of experience, education and professional certificates on FM. Originality/value The study is the first attempt to explore FM in an emerging economy, particularly Libya, by introducing IAA as a mediator. The study provides implications for regulators and top management in the banking sector.

E-banking is seen as the newest delivery channel for banking services in many developed countries and is believed to have a significant impact on the bank market. It is contended that e-banking is providing numerous opportunities for banks and non-bank financial institutions to add a low cost distribution channel to their existent distribution channels in order to better serve their customers by offering high quality products and services. Little research on factors influencing the intention to use e-banking has been implemented in newly emerging countries such as Vietnam. Thus, this study has, based on an extensive literature review on e-banking benefits for both banks and their customers and relevant theories on innovation adoption, proposed a comprehensive model of e-banking intention to use by customers in Vietnam. Based on the structural equation modeling technique, both linear and non-linear effects were tested. The results show that subjective norms, perceived ease of use, trust, and perceived benefit were statistically significant in directly influencing intention to use e-banking. In addition, subjective norms, perceived ease of use, and trust were statistically significant in indirectly influencing intention to use e-banking via perceived benefit. Practical implications and future studies were also discussed.

The purpose of this research is to examine the drivers of Web-based B2B systems adoption from an institutional perspective by means of comparison between durable and nondurable goods-producing industries. A questionnaire survey was developed to collect data from manufacturing firms. Structural Equation Modeling using EQS was conducted to analyze the data. Results revealed that the durability characteristic of goods produced plays a moderating role in the impact of institutional pressures on the top management support of Web-based B2B systems adoption. Results also indicated that top management support, and B2B relationship quality have a direct impact on the extent of adoption and use of Web-based B2B systems. The present study contributes to the continuing discussion about why organizations respond differently to institutional pressures and vary in the level of use of Web-based B2B applications.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of top management support (TMS) and inter-organizational relationships (IORs) on external involvement (EI), and their differences across different ownerships. Design/methodology/approach – To test the research hypotheses, structural equation modeling was conducted using data from 176 Chinese manufacturing firms. Findings – TMS enhances relationship with customers and relationship with suppliers. Relationship with customers increases the degree of customer involvement, while relationship with suppliers increases the degree of supplier involvement. In addition, TMS improves customer involvement while does not improve supplier involvement directly. A further analysis reveals that the relationship between TMS and supplier involvement is partially mediated by relationship with suppliers in Chinese-controlled firms, whereas it is completely mediated by relationship with suppliers in foreign-controlled firms. Moreover, the effect of relationship with suppliers on supplier involvement is stronger in foreign-controlled firms than in Chinese-controlled firms. Research limitations/implications – This study employed perceptual data from a single respondent in each firm. In addition, the data used in this study were collected from one side of the dyad: the manufacturers. Practical implications – Both Chinese-controlled and foreign-controlled firms should get support from top management and develop close relationship with customers and suppliers to improve EI. Originality value – This study extends our knowledge in the field by examining how TMS and prior history of IORs can improve the degree of EI.

CRM adoption can provide innumerable benefits to the SMEs performance, including solving customer problems in a timely manner, enhancing customer satisfaction by appointing an expert to solve issues and queries, and the like. This study aims to examine the moderating effects of the firm size in the adoption of CRM in the Palestinian SMEs. A quantitative approach was used to investigate the relationships between the variables, which are compatibility, IT infrastructure, complexity, relative advantage, security, top management support, customer pressure, and competitive pressure. A questionnaire was designed to collect data from 420 SMEs in Palestine. A total of 331 respondents completed and returned the survey. The Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) approach was used to assess both the measurement and structural models. The Diffusion of Innovation Theory (DOI) and Technology, Organization, and Environment Framework (TOE) framework were employed to identify the determinant factors from the technological, organizational, and environmental perspectives. The findings and conclusions of this study provide show that the moderating effect of firm size has significant effect compatibility, top management support, customer pressure, and IT infrastructure factors.

Awareness of the importance to install anti-spyware software in one's computer has increased in this digital world. This research aims to investigate the relationship between relative advantage, moral compatibility, ease of use, subjective norms, image, computing capacity, perceived cost, and trialability, and the consumer intention to use the anti-spyware software. Data was coded and analyzed in the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) computerized software version 21 and analyzed by means of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Next, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique via Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) computer program version 21 was used for data analysis in order to achieve the research objective. Results validated the hypotheses and revealed that five vital factors: Ease of use, relative advantage, image, perceived cost, and moral compatibility influenced consumer intention to use the anti-spyware software. The ease of use dimension has the greatest impact on consumer intention to use the anti-spyware software. The developers of the anti-virus software or the software development companies should specifically target the right target groups, in terms of its market segmentation, targeting, and positioning, to boost up consumer awareness and deployment of the anti-spyware software. This research brings implication in terms of it does help the researchers and IT professionals to understand factors that influence consumer intention to use anti-spyware software.
