40 male subjects, ages 18 to 40 yr., practiced tracking a moving target by manipulating a viscous-damped tracking device using two band grips. Eight subjects were assigned to each of five training groups. Four shortened training schedules that were considered as representing massed, distributed, or a combination of massed and distributed trials were compared with a four-day training schedule which had been previously used. Total practice time was the same for all groups. The subjects tracked a target which was moving in a fixed arc at a constant angular velocity of 5 mrad/sec. Horizontal standard deviation ( SD) errors were recorded. Analysis showed significant differences in performance among the groups on a subsequent test day; however, one of the massed/distributed schedules visually showed less variability. Comparison of subjective estimates of “Mental Fatigue” and “Eye Fatigue” among the groups were almost the same. The results are discussed in terms of the schedules most likely to produce stable performance by operators.

Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Kebijakan Kelas Olahraga, AbstractThis research aimed to describe about the implementation of sport class policy in SMP Bengkulu city The problem reviewed in this research was “How is the implementation of Sport Class Policy in SMP Negeri Kota Bengkulu?” This research was an analytical descriptive design. This paper deals with the possibilities of using imagery (imagination) in sports to improve performance by psychological means. This mental technique is often used by athletes to improve their sports performance. It is also used as an intervention technique by sports psychologists and more recently coaches for athletes. Abroad, the Training schedule of imagery in sports psychology training is widely developed. The numbers of researchers dealing with the technique of imagery in sport psychology is rising. The essence is to create a mental image of highest quality, and a vivid picture of successful execution of what we want to improve in our performance. This paper deals with the theoretical aspects of the imagery, its characteristics, structure and detailed aspects of the use in sports.

Background and Study Aim: In the framework of motor skill learning and transfer, the objective of the present work is to highlight the kinematics during the technical execution of an "attack to the legs" in wrestling and compare expert wrestlers with wrestlers having a prior judo expertise. Moreover, this study aims to evaluate the effects of training on these characteristics. Material and Methods: 10 male subjects were divided in two groups of five: the first group contains wrestlers with at least 7 years of wrestling practice. The second group contains two-year practice wrestlers with 5-year prior judo experience. Subjects had to perform a movement of attack towards the opponent’s legs (free style wrestling). A three-dimensional analysis was carried, the displacement of seven passive markers placed over anatomical points was quantified (3-D motion analyzer, sampling rate 25Hz). The following parameters were calculated: angulation of the hip and of the knee, velocity and acceleration of the shoulder and of the wrist. The experiment was conducted twice: at the beginning of the wrestling training schedule and ten weeks later. Results: Results showed marked differences between the two groups in the kinematics of the movement. These results suggest interference between prior automatisms and learning new skill. The prior experience in judo would have influenced posture in this group. In the framework of skill transfer and dexterity, this study appears promising to investigate the processes involved in this motor control. Conclusions: Although wrestling and judo are two sport disciplines that belong to the same group of combat sport, this work underlines the specificity of learning and indicates that acquisition of motor abilities in a speciality is not transferred inevitably in a positive way in another speciality of the same group

Abstract: The purpose of this social service is to provide learning media training based on the presentation application, Sparcol and Powtoon. This activity was given to teachers in Elementary School 9 Purwodadi. The social service session consists of installing an application, creating an account, adding images and text, changing the background, and saving the results that have been made. The model used is a workshop model with lectures, demonstrations, question and answer and direct practice methods. Evaluation is done by distributing information and motivation questionnaires to participants and product checklists. In general, participants claimed that the training schedule was right, the time sharing (lectures, demonstrations, question-answer and direct practice) was also felt positively by the participants. Participants are satisfied with the topic presented and feel that most of the expectations and objectives of the social service are fulfilled. Evaluation results indicate that the material delivered can be followed well.Keyword: Powtoon Training, Sparcol Training, Elementary School  Abstrak: Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi presentasi Sparcol dan Powtoon. The science of botany is often daunting to people who are training to become Master Gardener volunteers. However, the range of natural diversity of plants as well as practical information about plant anatomy are essential foundations for other parts of Master Gardener training. I will present a botany module that I have developed over the past 5 years. The module focuses on relevance to the trainee and builds on basic information to examine more complex aspects of botany, all in the space of the 3–6 hours often allotted for basic botany training. It begins with a “tour” of the plant kingdom and plant relatives like algae and fungi, mosses, liverworts, and ferns. I follow this with basic morphology of stems, roots, and leaves; this basic morphology is used to answer the question of how water and minerals move from the soil into and throughout plants, even reaching the height of the tallest tree. A short segment on mycorhizzae reinforces water and mineral transport, while providing a link to the plant kingdom tour. The mycorhizzal section also reinforces or complements training on soils, which is often presented in another portion of the training schedule. Finally, a segment on flowers introduces basic terminology and winds up a discussion of how to recognize monocotyledons and dicotyledons. Several optional hands-on activities help active learners assimilate the information and provide needed reflective time for more traditional learners. The module has been adopted as the official OSU Extension Master Gardener™ Program botany module in Oregon.
